Key Details

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK as Senior Mass Participation Manager. Leading a team of nine, you’ll be responsible for delivering a successful strategy and operational plan for virtual events and mass participation products, ensuring sustainable growth and impact.

Working within the Fundraising team, this role involves driving the development of engaging campaigns that increase supporter numbers and income, all while providing an excellent supporter experience. Role and Responsibilities 

We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative senior legal manager to manage our international Governance & Accountability Programme. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer (or international development professional with equivalent experience in rule of law /governance / NGO use of legal strategies), with deep enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of how our partners could use the law to achieve anti-corruption reform. A more detailed explanation of our organisational and programme strategy is set out in our 2024-2026 Strategy.

Working as part of a small but dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn at close hand what it means to work for an international NGO focusing on how the law can be used to fight corruption and achieve environmental and economic justice. You will develop projects with a range of partners, including international agencies, NGOs, CSOs, governments and government bodies. You will collaborate with a range of volunteer lawyers (law firms and barristers chambers) who are leading experts in their field. You will also nurture, build and maintain relationships with our funders. The role will involve outreach to new partners, programme management, drafting fundraising applications and donor reports, tracking impact, as well as evaluating and learning from projects.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Implement the strategic vision for ILP’s Governance and Accountability (G&A) programme, in conjunction with the Senior Programmes Director, Senior Counsel, Legal Fellows, Executive Director, partners, staff and Board; 

2. Develop an expert understanding of the most effective policy tools and legal interventions to deliver the programme’s objectives, through engagement with volunteer lawyers, ILP partners, staff, Board and others; 

3. Build and maintain ILP’s G&A programme. This includes:

· Liaising with partners to identify legal/policy/campaign needs and offer potential legal and/or policy reform solutions, including through conducting analysis of their activities; 

· Creating an active pipeline of G&A projects and cases including environmental crime and corruption, through identifying and engaging in regular outreach with potential new partners; 

· Ensuring an even spread of G&A projects across the five strategic programme pillars;

· Identifying, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new highly experienced volunteer lawyers;

· Mapping and developing relationships with regional and international development entities and other technical assistance providers to identify potential partners, needs and focus countries; 

· Representing the programme in external fora and events; 

1. Ensure effective project delivery and evaluation of impact including: 

· Managing & coordinating project implementation through the full project cycle; 

· Delivering financial management for assignments including accurate budgeting, forecasting, accounting and reporting; 

· Supporting the development and maintenance of strong programme management and knowledge management systems and processes, including regular updating of ILP’s databases;

Working closely with the Senior Counsel and Senior Programmes Director, lead fundraising activities to support both the G&A programme and organisational overheads, including exploring opportunities for potential funding with partners, liaising with and nurturing donors, designing funding applications and creating relevant budgets; 

2. Line management of G&A Legal Fellow;

3. Share in the necessary operational and administrative activities of the organisation and contribution to website and social media communications.

Candidate profile:

We are especially interested in candidates with the following skills and experience: 

· A qualified lawyer (or equivalent with significant relevant professional experience) with an  excellent understanding of how law is useful to achieving reform in our key strategic work areas: public procurement integrity, environmental crime and corruption, accountability for international corruption asset recovery, countering illicit asset flows and illicit asset recovery, and tackling the UK’s role as an international money laundering hub for enablers; 

· Understanding and enthusiasm for the concept and practice of pro bono legal assistance;

· Demonstrable project management skills and experience in an NGO (5+ years);

· Demonstrable experience in donor management, including drafting fundraising applications and budgets, nurturing new and managing existing relationships, meeting donor reporting requirements, drafting donor impact reports and raising funds for future projects and activities;

· Relevant experience and knowledge (either from previous work experience or study) relating to economic justice and/or environmental law and policy in an international development context;

· Ability to work on a wide range of tasks simultaneously, and at speed, including developing and managing relationships with a range of stakeholders (donors, NGOs, civil society organisations and government representatives), on an international basis;

· Demonstrable understanding (either from previous work experience or study) of key issues in sustainable international development, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals; 

· Excellent research skills; strong administration and coordination experience in an NGO setting;

· Strong interpersonal and team working skills; 

· Comfortable working independently and proactively and as part of a small team with a busy caseload;

· Very high level of fluency in spoken and written English;

· Working knowledge of another language such as Spanish (desirable).

Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) is the national charity supporting practitioners, policymakers and people with lived experience to transform services and systems for people facing multiple disadvantage - a combination of experiences including poverty, trauma, homelessness, substance misuse, mental ill health and contact with the criminal justice system.

Following an exciting period of growth in our support to local areas, we are now looking for an ambitious and effective person to join our team as Training and Consultancy Manager.

As Training and Consultancy Manager, you will help us achieve our mission for people facing multiple disadvantage by:

- Developing, coordinating and helping to deliver our training programmes,

- Leading on sales, marketing and new business for training and consultancy,

- Contributing to our commercial strategy,

- Acting as a valued and active team member.

We are seeking someone with experience of sales and marketing in a similar environment, alongside knowledge and experience related to multiple disadvantage, allowing you to deliver some aspects of our training as required.  You will be highly organised, commercially minded and able to work closely with team members and associates who also deliver training and consultancy work.

You will join a small and committed team working with more than 50 local areas, and build deep relationships with local areas across the MEAM Approach network and beyond.

The FIGO Fistula Surgery Training Initiative (FSTI) project has been in existence for 10 years and in that time has become recognised as a key global project, instrumental in delivering capacity building and improved healthcare outcomes for women, with an emphasis on the global south. After 10 years the senior project manager has stepped down and FIGO are seeking to use this as an opportunity to review the project delivery model.

The Interim Senior Project Manager role will lead the FIGO Fistula Project on an interim basis and be responsible for the ongoing delivery of the project during that period. In addition, they will be expected to review the project delivery model, ensuring that the project aligns to best practice and delivers in the most effective and efficient manner possible for the future, whilst ensuring agreed project outcomes.

You will be experienced in shaping communications strategies and campaigns, consistently creating engaging content across various channels for a range of audiences. We are looking for someone who can work effectively with people, both within their organisation and beyond, to maintain good relationships and to support them in delivering their communications outputs and objectives. Healthwatch is the local champion for health and social care. Public Voice currently delivers local Healthwatch services in three London boroughs: Croydon, Haringey, and Hounslow. The Local Healthwatch Communications Manager manages and delivers engaging, relevant, accessible and informative communications and content across all our local Healthwatch services. The role will help deliver an important component of local Healthwatch’s statutory functions to a high standard, as well as amplifying the voice and reach of our Healthwatch services among their local communities and key stakeholders.

Senior Philanthropy Manager (Maternity Cover) 

Contract: Maternity Cover, Full Time, 35 hours per week.

Salary : £51,439.00 - £57,869.00 per year with excellent benefits

Location: London, UK subject to the right to work.

UK Hybrid Working: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face, either in London office, or as a result of external engagement or travel for WaterAid. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base.

*60/40 hybrid working at WaterAid is currently defined as: 60% of an employee’s time in a location of their choice, 40% face to face, defined as in the London office, at conferences or at stakeholder meetings or other location as relevant for the proper performance of the duties of the role.

About the Team 

The Philanthropy and Trusts Team raises circa £6m per year from philanthropists, trusts and foundations. The audience is individual philanthropists (gifts over £10k per annum), and trusts and foundations (grants over £25k per annum).

About the Role: 

As Senior Philanthropy Manager (Maternity Cover) you will:

• Proactively build a personal portfolio of HNWIs and UHNWIs able to give £1m+ through relationship development, appropriate and dynamic pitching and influencing and negotiating expertise.
• Effectively line manage three direct line reports. Lead by example and support high performance, ensuring the professional and personal development goals of staff are met.
• Proactively manage, with the prospect research team, the philanthropy team’s new business pipeline to achieve team and organisational objectives, working across the Strategic Partnerships department and across the WaterAid Federation as appropriate. 
• Be the senior level contact for all aspects of event planning and delivery, supporting the Philanthropy and Events Manager to manage the strategic planning, development and running of an events programme to time and budget for the benefit of the Philanthropy and Trusts Team, and where appropriate, the wider Strategic Partnerships Department. 

Requirements

To be successful, you’ll need:  

• Proven track record of raising “Principal gifts” of £1m+.
• Proven ability to manage a successful philanthropic portfolio, achieving targets as part of a strategic plan and maximising income from existing supporters.
• Experience managing the complexities of income management and KPI’s to monitor the teams progress and growth.
• Experience of line management / supervising the work of others; leading and motivating others and driving change.
• Be confident in leading work with senior level stakeholders, both internally and externally, in order to secure significant grants and manage strategic partnerships, using tact and diplomacy. 
• Have a passion for international development, a commitment to WaterAid’s stated values and a working style that reflects these.

National Reconnect Programme Manager

We are seeking a strategic leader for a National Reconnect Manager role, you will manage and develop impactful Reconnect programme across England.

About the Role

As National Reconnect Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of a Reconnect programme, a vital service offering family support and mediation for young people aged 11–25 at risk of homelessness. The aim is to strengthen family relationships and prevent young people from leaving home unnecessarily, or support them to maintain family connections where this isn’t possible.

You’ll manage a dedicated team of Reconnect Workers across multiple regions, ensuring services meet high standards, achieve key outcomes, and reflect best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

· Leading national delivery of the Reconnect programme and achieving KPIs

· Line management and professional development of regional Reconnect Workers

· Providing specialist case advice, training and reflective practice

· Developing tools, resources and evidence-based practices

· Embedding outcomes monitoring and service evaluation

· Supporting strategic development and service innovation

· Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, quality standards and funding obligations

About You

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced leader with a background in delivering impactful services for young people and families.

You will have:

· Proven experience developing national youth or family programmes

· A Level 4 Interpersonal Mediation Practitioners Certificate (or equivalent)

· Excellent people and project management skills

· Experience creating evidence-based resources and leading service improvements

· Confidence in using data to monitor impact and drive development

· Strong understanding of safeguarding and the challenges facing young people at risk of homelessness
