Learning and Development Coordinator

Provide technical support and quality assurance to RedR UK Programmes Team, ensuring high-quality, relevant, appropriate, and high impact services to RedR UK beneficiaries and donors.

This position works closely with the members of the Learning and Development Team, as well as working in a support role with members of the Programmes Team to deliver quality learning and development programming. The Learning and Development Coordinator also works in partnership with external partners, including members of RedR’s Associate Trainer network, as well as other RedR organisations, partners and clients.

ABOUT THIS ROLE 

The Learning and Development Coordinator is an essential role within the Learning and Development Team and the Programmes Team more generally. The staff will closely work and coordinate with other members of the L&D Team as well as Programme Managers, Coordinators and Officers, Associate Trainers and Consultants, etc. The L&D Coordinator designs and adapts RedR UK training materials as well as providing technical L&D support and quality assurance to the broader Programmes Team. In particular, this role will focus on building and strengthening RedR UK’s self-paced eLearning offerings. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

Ensure that the quality of our L&D services and material is maintained, improved and expanded: 

• Contribute to guiding, standardising and quality assuring the conversion of learning/training material, content and courses or course modules to e-learning 
• Contribute to updating, maintaining and expanding RedR UK L&D and training material and resources, store & categorise them, and make them accessible
• Contribute to the update and maintenance of RedR UK’s e-learning and open-source learning platforms
• Provide quality assurance of project outputs or deliverables and assist in drafting high quality reports
• Contribute to the development or updating of RedR UK’s L&D and eLearning strategies 

Support the delivery of RedR UK's demand-led services to a consistently high standard: 

• Provide an end-to-end service - designing, supporting, quality assuring and evaluating the delivery of learning interventions, including developing new training and capacity development services (F2F, online facilitated and eLearning), particularly in connection with RedR UK’s self-paced eLearning offerings 
• Coordinate with the L&D team on planning and scheduling of L&D activities and liaise with colleagues across RedR UK to ensure uniform high quality of services 
• Where appropriate, design and/or deliver learning/training services directly to the participants 
• Where appropriate and agreed by line manager, lead the execution of selected projects, especially L&D projects 
• Assist in ensuring that necessary monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) data is gathered and analysed on all activities 

Support Network of Associate Trainers (ATs) and L&D Consultants to effectively deliver RedR UK's services: 

• Support the capacity building of ATs in L&D and technical Quality Assurance related matters, including introduction to RedR UK training methodologies, innovative training techniques, new training tools, etc. 
• Contribute to the recruitment, assessment and onboarding of prospective new Associate Trainers (ATs) into the trainer pool and/or on specific projects as required 
• Coordinate the work, performance, and planning of Associate Trainers when working under the L&D Unit. Quality-assure their work when working under Programmes Hubs 

Ensure that RedR UK services meet the needs of the sector and work to expand our reach: 

• Keep up to date with developments in learning with a focus on eLearning technologies and platforms, as well as other training methodologies and issues in the humanitarian sector and advise RedR UK programme teams accordingly 
• Contribute to identifying and exploring possibilities for expanding the range of services offered by the organisation and source funding for their implementation 
• Support business development efforts and proposal preparation by ensuring that the L&D component of the methodology is appropriate, services offered are in line with requirements, likely to achieve high impact and adding overall value to the programme 
• Represent RedR UK at selected external events and forums, as appropriate 
• Be the Key Account Manager (KAM) for selected Key Accounts (clients and partners) in line with RedR UK’s KAM System

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS 

Essential 

• Experience in design of self-paced and blended eLearning programmes, including experience with Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Vyond and other animation/design platforms including a strong understanding of accessibility requirements 
• Experience managing Learning Management Systems, especially Moodle 
• Experience and understanding of learning and development approaches, adult learning (andragogy) and participatory learning methodologies, including designing and conducting LNAs, designing, delivering and evaluating face-to-face and online facilitated events and revising/adapting training material
• Experience assessing learning, familiarity with the Kirkpatrick Model, and experience tracking, evaluating and reporting on learning data 
• Excellent people skills and experience in the coordination of consultants, including effective cross-cultural communication and strong inter-personal skills 
• Ability to influence, build and maintain networks and relationships, both externally and internally to achieve good results, representing RedR UK at a senior level to a high standard 
• Good workload management skills and ability to use initiative to solve problems

We are looking for a social work qualified experienced people manager to take responsibility for operational management and development of our social work services.

You will ensure that effective services are delivered to children and young people with cancer and their families through the professional supervision of our staff group, working across split sites.

You will have:

• You must hold an appropriate social work qualification.
• Extensive experience of working with children and young people including complex case work and risk assessment and care planning, caseload management and interagency working

INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Development and Outreach Officer to play a key role in mobilising resources, expanding the network, and raising awareness about child marriage globally. The Development and Outreach Officer will work within the Development and Outreach Team to develop and implement fundraising strategies, cultivate donor relationships, lead the development of grant proposals and reporting processes, and support with outreach events.

Haringey Community Collaborative Manager

Job Summary

The Haringey Community Collaborative Manager is responsible for leading the development of the VCS Capacity Building strategy and the effective co-ordination of the Community Collaborative team which includes a Communications and Engagement Officer, a Workplace Development Manager, and a Capacity Building Manager.

We envisage the Haringey Community Collaborative Manager performing at either a primarily operational level or, for a more experienced candidate, at both operational and strategic levels. The salary range reflects this, with the upper end of the salary range reserved for candidates who can demonstrate an ability to deliver at both the operational and strategic levels.

Operationally, the postholder will have specific management responsibility for co-developing priorities for local VCS funding and capacity building, as well as the Volunteer Centre and wider VCS community of practice. Strategically, the role would include a wider contribution to the strategic management and development of Public Voice, supporting the CEO as required. With experience of a wide range of fundraising activities and knack for engagement and social media communication, the successful candidate will come into an exciting program of events and activities for 2024 and will be central to the success of that program and building on it for 2025.

Reporting to the Strategic Development Manager you will be responsible for community fundraising, events planning, engagement with business and community, lead generation, stewardship, digital campaigns and innovations in our fundraising and marketing activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Create and curate content for digital marketing campaigns to support the strategic objectives of the Charity.

2. Devise and deliver marketing campaigns that: raise awareness of mental health issues, promote good mental health, promote our services and drive service enquiries and self-referrals.

3. Devise and deliver campaigns that promote and inspire engagement and fundraising support in the community, and generate leads for sponsorship, training delivery, and charity of the year or similar.

4. Support volunteer recruitment and fundraising through marketing and communications activities.

5. Prepare press releases and secure media coverage to promote Darlington Mind objectives, policy positions and/or events.

6. Develop and manage a pipeline of events and campaigns for community fundraising, inclusive of events by Darlington Mind and those within the community, and identify prospects for key supporters of those events.

7. Deliver creative communications to generate new leads for donor and commercial income. Identify and build relationships with new prospects for community fundraising; convert fundraising and support leads into effective fundraising activities and events

You will lead 2 Business Development Managers directly to deliver a 6-figure team new business target across the country. You will also support the upskilling and support of our Area Fundraising Managers in their local new business endeavours. The Head of Project Development is a new and pivotal role within the organisation that will bridge the gap between our fundraising efforts and the development and implementation of projects. This strategic position is focused on developing new projects based on clear evidence of need and alignment with PCR’s mission and priorities, as well as enhancing the case for existing projects. The role will work in collaboration with the delivery and partnerships team to develop cases for support and secure substantial funding to ensure we can continue to expand and deliver impactful, sustainable projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our operational capacity, initiating innovative projects, and contributing significantly to our growth targets for impact and the associated income to achieve this. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Project Development and Management: Spearhead the development of new projects and work alongside fundraising to develop bids to support existing initiatives, ensuring alignment with PCR’s strategic goals and funding opportunities. 

• Fundraising Support: Collaborate closely with the fundraising team to identify and secure funding from large statutory sources, including but not limited to the likes of the National Lottery Community Fund, NHS, NIHR, and Sports England. 

• Evidence Gathering: Develop a robust evidence base and demonstrate PCR’s capability through in-house or commissioned pilot work. 

• Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning processes, identifying key obstacles to project development, and developing strategies to overcome them. 

• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure future project alignment with community needs and stakeholder expectations. 

Profile of the Candidate 

• Proven experience in project development and management, preferably within the healthcare, research, or non-profit sectors. 

• Demonstrated success in securing funding from large statutory sources or HNWIs. 

• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to identify and address operational and strategic challenges. 

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating others to achieve high performance. 

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the capability to work effectively across various levels of an organisation.

The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.

Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. You will build and leverage a network of advocates to help spread the word, accelerating take-up and growing the RSCM’s reach in churches and schools.

The post holder will be expected to work to actively drive sales of RSCM products such as ‘Hymnpact!’ (a singing resource aimed at encouraging singing in primary schools), sales of events such as singing courses, and membership subscriptions; and in some instances voluntary giving. Some of the work will be in support of RSCM Enterprises, RSCM’s wholly owned trading subsidiary.

The sales plan will be delivered with some assistance of external contractors (e.g. social media), and with input from individuals across the organisation.

The post holder is responsible for selling to individuals, corporate customers (such as school federations) and organisations (e.g. choral societies) including through appropriate organisational networks. The holder will play an active part in suggesting, agreeing and delivering agreed KPIs and sales targets, monitoring and adjusting activities as necessary to improve results. North London Open Spaces (NLOS) – a subdivision of the City Corporation - is comprised of a portfolio of some of the United Kingdom’s most iconic public urban greenspaces. The role

This exciting role within NLOS’s senior management team was created to help bring greater strategic alignment across NLOS and its charities and to better capitalise on new and existing opportunities. The post is critical to ensuring that we maximise the resources available to us through increased income generation and by forging strategic partnerships across multiple sectors and fields that allow us to increase and leverage support for each charity and provide a world class customer experience, while protecting and preserving green spaces of international significance. All activities will be undertaken with a priority to conserve the natural spaces we oversee, and to ensure that income generated at each site is reinvested back into the charity/site where it was raised. 

As a member of NLOS’s senior management team, the postholder will be responsible for overseeing a diverse and complementary portfolio, including income generation, strategic partnerships, marketing and communications, event and license management, volunteer and engagement programmes, and strategic partnerships. They will lead a newly created team with diverse and complementary roles, fill remaining team vacancies, and create a cohesive approach and narrative. As a member of NLOS’s senior management team, they will work closely with colleagues and the Superintendent to create and implement new opportunities to further improve these four iconic green spaces.
