The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Portfolio Manager to join their team in London or Brussels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution in a newly created role.   

As Portfolio Manager EU Member States with Clean Air Fund you will contribute to delivery of Clean Air Fund’s mission, through supporting strategy design, impact assessment, and the development and management of a portfolio of grants with a wide variety of grantee partners including civil society organisations, research institutions (think-tanks and universities) and industry. The geographical scope of these grants will be at the national level and / or the pan-EU level.  You will support grant-making across the EU Portfolio, from stakeholder engagement to scoping of the project to evaluation and impact assessments as well as input and support projects strategy development as well as contributing to technical elements of project implementation where relevant.  

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience;

• Demonstrable alignment with CAF’s mission, values, and goals.
• Experience of working on air quality, climate or energy transition in the EU. Specific experience of energy transition in residential heating and transport will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of how the EU institutions function as well as transposition / implementation processes of EU Directives at the national level.  
• Experience in project, programme, or grant management, including experience in financial management, including the ability to interrogate grant budgets. • Strong interpersonal skills that translate to the ability to build effective networks.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically and to be outcome-focused, with experience in working in teams that design and execute strategies on complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Articulate and proficient in both written and spoken English.  Proficiency in additional European languages is considered a significant asset, including French, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, German or Greek.

WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation.

Working to the Executive Director, you will interact with our decentralised finance, marketing and communications staff and volunteers.  

Together, you will nurture Major Donor relationships and create and manage appropriate donor stewardship schemes and rationalise our income streams.

Our partner, an established UK charity with a focus on fighting poverty by transforming access to health care services in lower- and middle-income countries in Africa seeks a highly dynamic individual for a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension. The position is part of the management team, and the post holder will be expected to lead on the financial accounting, management accounting, and budgeting for the organisation as well as taking forward some strategic finance and operations projects as we expand our programmes in existing countries. The individual will also be expected to support the Co-CEOs with administrative, compliance and IT related tasks.

Finance
•Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring accounting records are complete and accurate.
Financial accounting
•Prepare annual statutory accounts in accordance with SORP 2015.
•Prepare for the annual external audit and host auditors ensuring the audit process runs smoothly. This includes supporting Vision Action’s country offices in hosting their respective audits.
•Ensure annual statutory accounts are finalised and submitted to Companies House and the Charity Commission by the appropriate deadlines.

Management accounting
•Coordinate the month-end process with the Finance Officer (UK) and Programme Finance Lead, and review transaction postings.
•Prepare monthly management accounts with cash flow forecasts, modifying the format as needed to suit the preferences of senior management and the Board of Trustees.
•Prepare the annual organisational budget and mid-year reforecast.
•Improve existing budget templates to enable straightforward and transparent budgeting for donors.
Support to country offices
•Collaborate with the Programme Finance Lead on a monthly basis to reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring that reconciling items are cleared promptly.
•Support country office teams in fulfilling any reporting and financial compliance requirements.
•Conduct internal process reviews (internal audits) of country offices where required.
•Review the bi-weekly payment runs for the UK office and the monthly country office fund requests, ensuring cash flow planning is in place for these payments.
•Ensure asset registers are maintained appropriately.

Administration
•Support staff in conducting procurement in line with our procurement policy.
•Assist with preparation for quarterly Board meetings.
•Support office management tasks.

Other
Review and develop existing policies and procedures (e.g. the Finance Manual).

Essential Experience & Knowledge

• Experience dealing with high-risk jurisdictions and partners, including unincorporated or grassroots networks.

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Emmaus UK and provide maternity cover for our Governance Manager.

This standalone role is responsible for managing the operations of the board and committees of Emmaus UK, as well as for providing support to local boards at Emmaus communities across Great Britain as they look to develop their governance arrangements.

The postholder will manage the board of trustees, leading on recruitment, induction and compliance, ensuring meetings run smoothly and are minuted effectively. They will also work as company secretary, managing the smooth-running of the AGM, and ensuring returns are made to Companies House and the Charity Commission within appropriate timeframes.

The Governance Manager is responsible for monitoring the development of policies, tracking completion and working with managers to continuously improve policies in line with changing regulation.

We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver and develop services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. The third is leading outreach to identify and engage hidden Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). The regular days will be Wednesday - Friday, However flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

Key Requirements Include: 

• Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable groups 

• Experience facilitating groups or activties 

• Ability to provide one-to-one support in a sensitive and empowering way 

• Strong communication skills with young people, families, and professionals 

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible 

• A strong understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality 

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required 

• Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practice

We're looking for a dynamic, community focused manager to lead our Hub operations, staff and volunteers. You'll shape service, connect wityh local groups and ensure the highest standards of hospitality and care. As the manager, you will report to the Trustees and have the opportunity to develop the centre to cater for needs in the community.
