About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Shop Supervisor to make a difference and deliver positive social impact in the local community while also raising money to fund Crisis’ work ending homelessness.
As a Shop Supervisor, you will support the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will play a key role in delivering customer service and supporting volunteers, as well maintaining the look and feel of the shop and processing stock. You will work towards ambitious sales and training targets, maximising the impact on our mission to end homelessness.
This is a unique retail opportunity where you will also be involved in delivering on the job training for Crisis members, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with your team and will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have significant retail or customer service experience alongside a genuine interest in charity retail. Milton House is a 15-bed mixed-gender accommodation service in Islington, supporting adults facing multiple and complex challenges. With a small and dedicated staff team, we provide tailored casework to residents whose needs may include mental or physical health issues, substance use, histories of offending, or support with living skills and wider aspirations. Job description
The Operations Coordinator is one of four core staff team members at Zero Carbon Guildford (ZCG), and leads on facilities and event management, organisational processes, and reporting. In the event of a premises move, they will also lead the charity through the physical move. This is a critical role to the smooth running of the charity, helping create and communicate systems that staff and volunteers use to deliver our objectives more efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Building and facilities management:

Maintaining the effective operation and presentation of the charity’s premises in support of our goals. This includes ensuring building compliance, upkeep and maintenance, and ensuring volunteers have appropriate training and guidance to use the space.

In the event of moving premises, manage both contractual arrangements and the physical moving process.
Support ZCG’s strategy to establish a more permanent physical space, by engaging with new developments in Guildford and council officers.
Events management:

Manage events and room booking system, track sign up numbers, and ensure events are managed well by staff and volunteers.

Support volunteers and staff to curate events programme, and ensure online events listings are effective, good quality and up to date.
KPI tracking and reporting against strategy and grant requirements:

Maintaining an efficient KPI tracking and reporting system, including for ZCG’s own environmental KPIs, working with relevant staff and volunteers to keep records up to date.

Pulling together reports against KPIs for grants, annual reports and monthly Trustee / Ops updates.

Sit on the Operations Panel and contribute to activities (group of staff, volunteers and Trustees with responsibility for day-to-day operations).

As our Senior Multimedia Producer, you will join a well-integrated and high-functioning team supporting Brooke to provide all around communications to promote our global efforts in animal welfare. You will plan, produce and oversee the production of stories to engage and increase support for our overall objectives, capturing and producing high-quality video content and photography, and delivering high-quality polished content to aid fundraising activity.
You will be highly organised with an ability to communicate effectively to bring together stories with a high level of creativity and flair. You will build capacity and enhance teamwork by building strong working relationships internationally.
With proven skills in video production, photography, and brand development, you will be able to manage freelance contributors effectively, including international partners. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro (or similar software) is essential. You’ll apply best practice and stay up to date with emerging technologies to continuously enhance content quality and impact.

Job Title: Recovery Worker
Location: Churchfield West Ealing - Unfortunately there is no step free access available on this site.
Salary: £27,000

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team based in West Ealing. We support adults experiencing homelessness, isolation, mental health challenges and addiction. We provide support and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The service has two 24/7 multi-bed premises which provide supported housing for individuals facing addiction and homelessness.
In this role, you will work closely with our residents to provide tailored person-centred support to enable our residents to feel empowered to overcome personal challenges, and achieve their desired goals. You will support them with re-integrating into the community through tailored support plans, interventions, and working closely with our stakeholders.

Dementia Concern is a long-established local charity providing life changing care and support to people living with dementia and their families across West London.

We’re looking for a Head of Fundraising, someone who can design, develop and deliver our fundraising stratergy. Someone who can innovate and who can combine stratergy, can lean in and has energy to connect with people, and who sees potential everywhere. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have both the freedom and responsibility to build a thriving, sustainable fundraising function, securing income initially from trusts and foundations and then corporates, philanthropists, individuals, and community supporters.
You will play a key hands-on role, supported by a fundraiser, volunteers, and an experienced and engaged CEO and Board.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and deliver a clear fundraising strategy that diversifies income and builds long-term sustainability.
- Inspire a culture of fundraising across the organisation, empowering staff, volunteers, and trustees to become confident advocates and ambassadors.
- Use the compelling stories of our frontline team and clients to engage, motivate, and retain supporters.
Trusts, Foundations and Corporate Giving

- Line-manage and mentor the newly appointed Trust Fundraiser, supporting their development and success.
Individual Giving and Appeals

- Design and deliver the charity’s first major appeals — including digital campaigns, local community drives, and postal appeals — to attract and retain individual donors.
- Develop engaging donor journeys and opportunities for people to give regularly, locally, and meaningfully.
Community and Partnership Development
- Reconnect Dementia Concern with its local community through relationship-building, events, and partnerships.
- Represent the charity externally with warmth and confidence, growing our network of local supporters, volunteers, and champions.
- Work closely with the CEO and Trustees to build mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses, groups, and influencers.
- Oversee the charity’s website and digital presence, ensuring our communications are clear, inspiring, and supporter focussed.
- Lead on campaigns and public relations that raise awareness of dementia and the charity’s impact in West London.
About you:
You will have experience in:
- Trust Fundraising and at least one of the following: corporate partnerships, individual giving, or community fundraising.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver successful fundraising strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft compelling cases for support and inspire others.
- A collaborative, ‘hands-on’ approach comfortable working in a small, dedicated team.

Royal Medical Benevolent Fund (RMBF) provide advice and financial assistance in the form of grants at times of crisis and hardship. Our work is funded through a combination of donations, legacies and returns on our investments.
The Head of Finance & IT will manage the relationships with the three investment managers and the outsourced IT providers. It is a varied role, combining the strategic with the hands-on. It will suit a versatile individual who is happy to transition between multiple tasks. No two days will be the same. One moment you might be writing or reviewing Board papers, the next you might be managing an IT support call and then later on you might be rolling up your sleeves to post the final journal entries to complete the management accounts.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Finance
- Accurate, timely and user-friendly management accounts, cash flow projections and other relevant financial information, with associated recommendations where appropriate
- An annual budget and accompanying management commentary
- Draft statutory accounts which meet the latest SORP requirements, producing the audit file and being the lead contact for the Fund’s auditors during the annual external audit
- Full compliance with UK charity and company financial regulations; and appropriate financial controls in place and complied with
- The development and keeping up to date of a Finance department handbook, covering finance policies, practices and procedures
- Successful leadership and development of the finance team
- The development of, and assistance with the implementation of, financial strategies to enable the Fund to achieve its long-term goals
- Support The Finance Committee’s investment management and monitor the Investment managers’ performance
- Managing the payroll function (outsourced)
- Managing the relationship with the pension scheme provider and staff salary sacrifice arrangements.
Information Technology
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the RMBF’s Information Technology strategy
- Management and development of an accurate, up to date, user-friendly database to provide relevant information to support all areas of the RMBF’s work including casework, fundraising and communications
- Cost effective development and use of IT within the Fund, to enable staff to make good use of IT for communication, record keeping and management information
- Managing the relationship with the Fund’s outsourced IT support companies.
Person Specification
- Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience
- Good understanding of charity SORP
- Experienced in preparing charity statutory accounts
- Experienced in charity investment management; good understanding of charity investment and restricted funds

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Mentor. We are looking for someone who really cares about the rights of women and their children to join our service in West London. This is an opportunity to support within a refuge accommodation for women and children surviving domestic abuse, many of whom are living with trauma. As a Support Mentor, you will support in providing a much needed safe space and support for women, for them to feel empowered in their healing journey and feel secure in their independence, strengths, and skills.
