About the Team
The Philanthropy team is a close-knit team of seven who work with High Net-Worth individuals, Trusts and Foundations, and Individual donors, raising over 60% of Resurgo’s income (currently around £2.2million). They each play a key role in building and stewarding partnerships to secure income that will sustain the Spear Programme. They work individually as well as collaboratively, to ambitiously reach their target and have fun whilst doing it!

Person Specification
- A practising Christian who is passionate about personally representing the Christian values of Resurgo and committed to Resurgo’s mission to inspire and equip organisations to bring about ambitious and sustainable social change.
- Excellent relationship building and proposal writing skills. Experience in Trust fundraising or an equivalent field is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent people skills, able to relate well to colleagues of all seniority levels as well as external stakeholders.
- Well organised and efficient; calm under pressure; able to juggle competing deadlines and priorities, splitting time across multiple projects.
- Confident with numbers and interpreting project budgets. Some knowledge of Trust fundraising is desirable.
- A desire to grow and develop, able to receive and give feedback confidently as well as share their ideas with the team.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
- Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
- Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts partners.
Write applications and reports
- Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
- Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
- Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
- Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner.
Data Management and Monitoring
- Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details in a timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
- Manage the Trusts & Foundations pipeline and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.
Line Management
- Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Partnerships Manager to strengthen and grow our connections across the youth, education and democracy sectors. You will play a key role in expanding and deepening the Democracy Classroom Network, helping to increase its reach, visibility and impact on democratic education across the UK.
The role will support organisations to prepare for and collaborate on upcoming changes in democratic engagement and education - such as the introduction of Votes at 16 - ensuring the sector is coordinated, informed and ready to respond collectively.
This is a dynamic, people-focused role supporting more than 100 partner organisations to collaborate, share learning and deliver joined-up support for teachers and youth practitioners. You will combine excellent relationship-building with the ability to think strategically, spot opportunities and translate them into practical action.
You will work closely with the Head of Communications and Networks, the Communications Lead, and colleagues across The Politics Project to ensure that partners are supported, connected and able to collaborate effectively. The role blends strategic relationship management with hands-on coordination and communication.
Key responsibilities include:
Partnership management
- Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with over 100 existing civil society partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for partner queries, feedback and support.
- Identify and onboard new organisations to join the Democracy Classroom Network.
- Facilitate partner input into planning, decision-making and shared problem-solving.
Strategic development and coordination
- Identify new opportunities for collaboration, policy influence and sector engagement.
- Advise senior colleagues on partnership trends, risks and emerging opportunities.
- Develop and deliver partner communication strategies, ensuring information and opportunities are shared clearly and consistently.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure joined-up delivery and coherent partner messaging.
Engagement and representation
- Plan and deliver Democracy Classroom meetings, training sessions and networking events.
- Represent The Politics Project at external meetings and events, acting as an ambassador for our collaborative and non-partisan approach.
Monitoring and reporting
- Track partner engagement, feedback and satisfaction to inform continuous improvement.
- Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting to demonstrate the impact of the network.
This is a fast-paced role in a small but growing team. The post includes a six-month probation period and is fixed-term until March 2027, with potential for extension depending on funding. Occasional travel within the UK and some evening or weekend work will be required.

We’re excited to be recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join our Procurement Team, within the Operations Dept at WWF-UK.
As Procurement Manager and you will be a member of a committed team responsible for ensuring the best value for money, reducing the risks with our suppliers and supporting the procurement function across a third party supplier budget of more than £35m.
Reporting to the to the Head of Procurement, you will manage limited categories of spend in collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as develop and implement category strategies to ensure optimised quality, transparent total cost of ownership and high service levels across the business.
To help us drive forward our mission to restore nature and tackle climate change you will bring the following attributes and experience:
· Experience of working as a procurement professional in an organisation with comparable supplier spend or greater.
· A track record of achieving procurement improvements and cost savings.

· Experience of negotiating and reviewing supplier contracts
· Considering or working towards Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification/equivalent

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Education Executive plays an important role in the facilitation and delivery of RLSS UK’s Education Strategy and will be a key contributor towards our organisation’s goal to ensure everyone can Enjoy Water Safely, Free From Drowning. The role supports the Education Manager with the implementation of educational initiatives throughout the whole of the UK and Ireland and works with both external partners and colleagues within RLSS UK to communicate our vital water safety messages to young people in an accessible, engaging and inclusive way. RLSS UK are leading experts in water safety and this role aims to grow both the number of children that receive our life-saving education but also looks to diversify the audience through adaptable resources and new approaches.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Education Manager and colleagues throughout the organisation to deliver the RLSS UK ‘Education Strategy’, ensuring that that more young people have access to quality water safety education
- Facilitate education pilots and new interventions that are informed by the ‘Education Strategy’
- Administer future developments of RLSS UK’s education packages, ensuring that they are impactful and inclusive
- Work closely with the Volunteering Team to extend the capability of the community to deliver water safety education, providing volunteers, partners, and members with the relevant information and resources, thus standardising the delivery of our education programme
- Communicate regularly with schools, colleges and other educational institutions, encouraging the growth and stewardship of our education workforce, so that RLSS UK is more visible in schools and youth settings across the UK and Ireland
- Deputise for the Education Manager and occasionally represent RLSS UK at wider forums and groups as someone knowledgeable about water safety education
- Work with RLSS UK internal teams to ensure educational resources are up to date, accessible and attractive to a variety of different audiences
- Under direction from the Education Manager, work on new projects and initiatives which particularly seek to make water safety education accessible to ‘harder to reach communities’
- Maintain relationships with external agencies and individuals delivering similar work in the education space to network and elicit best practices
- Support the Education Manager with developing partnership work, empowering and enabling other organisations to deliver RLSS UK water safety education on our behalf
- Have a ‘finger on the pulse’ and an understanding of new initiatives in the educational landscape, with a view to utilising new technologies or methods which could help to increase the reach and impact of our work

PERSON SPECIFICATION

- Qualified Teaching Assistant or higher
- At least 5 years’ experience of working in an education setting

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Research Funding to lead our research funding activities and play a key role in implementing our new research strategy. As Head of Research Funding, you’ll ensure our research investment delivers impact where it’s needed most. Working closely with colleagues across the Research and Innovation Directorate, you’ll manage a dedicated team, develop effective funding schemes, and strengthen connections with researchers, review panels, and grant holders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Association’s research funding activities, delivering to agreed budgets and timelines.
- Ensure research priorities are focused on the needs of people affected by MND.
- Develop and implement new funding schemes that accelerate progress and support our strategic aims.
- Lead improvements to grant management systems, processes, and documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to involve people affected by MND in funding decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the research community, including members of our review panels, peer reviewers and grant holders
- Oversee all reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees related to research funding
- Contribute to annual business planning and continuous improvement within the Research Funding team.
About You
- Degree in a relevant subject.
- At least five years’ experience in research management, ideally within a charity or government funding organisation.
- Experience in management of complex operational functions related to the management of research funding

- Strong background in developing and implementing grant management systems and processes.

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Communications and Policy Influencing Lead to spearhead the implementation of the Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) communications and policy influencing strategy globally. The position will shape and oversee the programme’s global communications and policy influencing strategies, ensuring coherence across national and global levels.

The programme will support teams across Bangladesh, Jordan, Pakistan and Syria, as well as other countries still to be decided.

The Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) is a programme that aims to support organisations in the aid sector to strengthen their safeguarding policy and practice against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Sexual Harassment (SEAH). RSH supports organisations working in both the humanitarian and development sectors and is driven by the needs of smaller national or local organisations in developing countries.The programme is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) until 2030.
