About the role:
This role is based out of our Chandlers Ford office on a hybrid basis with the expectation of 60% of your working week from the office. The role will include regular travel across the Hampshire & Isle of Wight region. You will be required to work flexibly to attend events in evenings and weekends, time off in lieu will be given.
As a Community Engagement & Training Officer, you will play a vital role in strengthening Victim Support's presence and impact within the community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing Engaging Content: Creating compelling and inclusive social media content tailored to diverse audiences to raise awareness of Victim Support's services and initiatives. You will also be required to create posters, leaflets and other promotional material to help inform communities about the service.
- Event Coordination and Representation: Organising and representing Victim Support at community events such as Pride, 999 Days, and local fairs. You will engage directly with victims and witnesses of crime, offering immediate emotional and practical support.
- Delivering Presentations: Designing and delivering impactful presentations to criminal justice partners, including police and probation services, to promote collaboration and raise awareness of Victim Support's work.
- Community Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with community leaders, local organisations, and stakeholders to enhance outreach and support networks.
This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. This role will support our transition from our in-house management platform to Salesforce.
The Opportunity
Our Membership Platform supports the College membership functions to make a difference to the lives of over 3.6 million children taught by our members. It is used to track, manage and support our members to access their benefits.
We are recruiting a Ruby Developer within the Service Operations team to manage our membership platform and provide support to users who access it. During the contract you will:
- Monitor and resolve any issues arising with the platform.
- Manage and maintain the platform so it remains operational.
- Work closely with the Head of Data and Digital to successfully transform and move the current data and services to a new platform built on Salesforce.
- Support membership operations with reporting, payment and refund requests.
This would be an ideal opportunity to work on a project to move our data and processes from a Ruby platform to Salesforce which will move the College’s processes forward to ensure a strong future. In this role you will:
- have autonomy for maintaining and managing our existing membership platform;
- work collaboratively with many of the team across the business, supporting recruitment and retention of our members; and
- help to grow the professional membership organisation for the teaching profession and be part of the team driving the organisation forward at an exciting time for the future of the College.
Platform Management and Maintenance
Most of the time, you will be managing the membership platform, fixing any bugs, keeping the server up to date, ensuring stability, and providing reports to various stakeholders within the College. You will also provide support to the membership team with refund requests through GoCardless and Stripe.
Data and Process Transition
You will spend some of your time working with the Head of Data and Digital to move all relevant membership data and processes over to Salesforce. This will entail preparing data in the correct format and providing support to move automated processes over to the new system.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Data Officer will meet data needs relating to the management and delivery of supporter and engagement products. You will work alongside three other Data Officers to assess, prioritise and provide solutions including the building of data selections and journeys for direct marketing purposes and the running of supporter data imports and exports.
Key responsibilities will include:

The Training Officer will have a range of administrative responsibilities relating to Action Tutoring’s tutor training delivery and curriculum resources.

Grants range from a few hundred pounds to £200,000 and support a wide range of needs, including mental health, homelessness, poverty and social isolation. We are looking for x1 permanent full time (35 hours per week) and x1 0.5 FTE (17.5 hours per week) FTC (18 months) Grants Assessment Officers to join the Grants Team at the Veterans' Foundation. The Grants Assessment Officer plays a vital role in the assessment of grant requests and will maximise the impact and effectiveness of the Foundation’s funding by ensuring we are supporting projects and activities which are closely aligned to our strategic priorities.
The key focus of the role is the assessment of applications across our existing Grant Programmes, reviewing grant monitoring and providing appropriate levels of support to grant holders during the period of funding.

Qualifications/Experience

Programme Delivery Officer role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs are responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of First Give in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, providing guidance and troubleshooting for the Lead Teachers.
