About the role

We are looking for a creative, pro-active and outgoing Corporate Relationship Manager to join our team who can build on our successful corporate partnership programme. As a key member of our Corporate Engagement Team, you will be responsible for researching prospective corporate partners for specific industry sectors and building a pipeline of potential sources of income, identifying new opportunities and growing our partnership base as well as maximising income from current partners, and leading on our corporate volunteering programme. You will be a natural communicator who has the ability to persuade, influence and inspire, with the confidence to build relationships at a senior level, across various departments and industries.

The Trusts and Foundations Officer will support the Trusts and Foundations team to meet income targets and develop and maintain relationships with donors and prospects. The Network Systems Manager maintains an overview of all DCS (Data Collection System) related activity and is responsible for ensuring that the development, maintenance and technical changes are conducted succinctly and delivered successfully in line with strategic goals across the entire organisation. 

Role responsibilities 

• To design and deliver a roadmap for the development of the Data Collection System, in line with the Trussell Trust’s strategic goals, and in collaboration with key stakeholders. 

• To manage the acquisition of DCS projects/changes, assessing value to different user groups using qualitative and quantitative analytical data to plan future support and development requirements of the system 

• Project management of large scale changes to the DCS and related systems, including the creation of project documentation, providing a consistent and accessible monitoring process for internal stakeholders. 

• To maintain and provide expert knowledge of the DCS across the organisation monitoring and reporting on key changes and development, user performance, stakeholder feedback and data requests.

• To work closely with the Network Services Manager in; providing a point of escalation for user and team technical support; offering support to project leads in the communicating of changes, development, testing and implementation of DCS-related activity. 

• Manage the day to day relationship with the system developers (Bit Zesty) to ensure support hours are appropriately used to maintain, update and fix bugs, and that all work (including projects) is delivered within budget and in a timely manner.

The Hepatitis C Trust develops projects nationally where peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training, increase hepatitis C awareness, and access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.

The post will coordinate delivery of educational and awareness workshops and promote the delivery of liver screening in community settings 

Working under the guidance of the South West Peninsula Peer Programme Manager, the post-holder will work alongside other identified partners to help develop a community outreach liver surveillance program and carry out HCC early detection activity and interventions across Plymouth.

We require a good standard of education, willingness to travel and welcome creativity and innovation in all our work. We are a patient-led organisation – you will be working in an environment where the patient/service user/client is placed at the centre of all that you do. This post will require extensive travel across the region and the post holder is required to hold a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

Fauna & Flora is seeking a highly experienced professional to manage it’s fundraising from a portfolio of statutory (government and multilateral) donors, such as Defra, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service etc.

You will support colleagues and partners to develop high-quality proposal packages for priority donors, and ensure their timely submission. You will coordinate proposals and reporting internally, and ensure all documents produced for donors meet their criteria, as well as follow Fauna & Flora approval and submission procedures. There is a strong capacity development element to this work, and you will share knowledge, learning and resources across Fauna & Flora to maximise success rate and promote best practice in grant management and donor stewardship. You may also develop and deliver training packages, in Cambridge and potentially overseas. You will monitor Fauna & Flora’s activities in statutory fundraising and fund management within your portfolio, and support internal decision-making and strategy development by sharing this learning.

Experience of working with government funding sources, be they bilateral and/or multilateral, is essential for this role. You will have proven experience of securing restricted funding from government sources, and a strong understanding of how statutory donors and funding programmes support the achievement of international targets and government priorities. Knowledge of and experience in biodiversity conservation, the development sector, and/or climate is an asset; a commitment to learning and supporting these sectors is essential. You may have worked in the non-profit sector, such as international development, or have a background in bid management, proposal development, and grant fundraising.

Strong relationship-management and communications skills are essential to the role, to develop positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional teams, non-governmental partners, and government agencies. You will be diplomatic and persuasive, and your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to coordinate people and processes to meet timelines. You will be a strong team player and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where the ability to respond swiftly to changing organisational and team needs is paramount. With a proactive and pre-emptive approach to your work, you will seek to add value and work with minimal supervision.

Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Skills in languages relevant to Fauna & Flora’s programme (e.g., French, Spanish, Bahasa) are highly desirable. Sensitivity to the different working environments and capacities of colleagues around the world is also essential.

Your role

As Shop Manager of Scope's Amersham shop, you’ll have autonomy to run your shop using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You will have relevant experience in retail but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important.

About you

As Shop Manager you’ll be passionate about retail and have a love of fashion with experience of running a shop, or you’ll be looking for a management role as the next step in your career. To be successful, you’ll need a commercial, can-do attitude and always put the customer’s needs first. You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and a creative eye for displays. About working in our shops

Our shops are the face of our retail brand, run by a dedicated, creative and passionate bunch of superstars. We focus on sustainable fashion and engaging with local communities. We lead our volunteers to deliver a great colleague and customer experience. And we raise much needed funds to deliver Everyday Equality for disabled people and their families.

Shop hours

It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day. So some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. Our full time hours are 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.
