Reporting into the Director of Children’s Services, the post holder has Registered Manager responsibilities for a wide-reaching geographical area which will have a staff team of Social Workers, Family Finding Worker, Engagement & Activity Practitioner, Consultants, Panel Members and Administration team. The post holder will prioritise trauma informed and therapeutic methodologies and actively support and encourage diversity and inclusion within all aspects of the role.

As a Support and Advocacy Officer you will join a skilled team who collectively provide a unique UK-wide support and advocacy service to over 1500 members.
You will primarily provide direct support and practical guidance to our Fabry members. This patient group is largely adult focused but there will be elements of family and child support. You will raise awareness within both the Fabry community and external agencies; and contribute to the development of resources, to promote self-advocacy within the patient group. The Role:
The Partner Engagement Lead is responsible for key account management, and specifically developing and supporting relationships with programme sponsors and partners within the WorldGBC network.
The Partner Engagement Lead will work closely alongside the programme/projects team subject leads, taking responsibility for day to day management of activities that relate to sponsors or stakeholders, including partner relationships, external collaborations and fundraising.
Working cross-functionally within a matrix-style organisation, the Lead will work collaboratively on the engagement pillar of WorldGBC's fundraising team alongside the Partnerships Manager and the Strategic Partnerships Lead. The Role
The organisation is fully committed to the protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults involved in the life of the Church in the second-largest diocese in England. The safeguarding adviser will manage safeguarding referrals and undertake casework within Oxfordshire. The casework will involve situations of current and past abuse which occurred within a church context and ensure survivors of abuse have access to support and services.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified caseworker in a field relevant to safeguarding such as social work, social justice, police work, or probation with current registration where applicable. You will have the ability to demonstrate transferrable knowledge across the client groups, as well as experience working with victims or survivors of abuse is a must.

· The Junction Youth Centre is open 7 days per week. This role is 37 hours per 7 day week, to be worked in the following format;
Three days per week 1-9pm based at The Junction Youth Centre (weekdays or weekends)

The Youth Mentor will deliver one to one mentoring to a caseload of young people aged 11 to 18 years (up to 25 with SEND) who are identified as at risk. They will also deliver group sessions and general youth work at The Junction Youth Centre twice a week. The Junction Youth Centre is open 7 days a week 4-9pm; the mentor will support group sessions twice a week and spend the rest of their time delivering 1:1 interventions.
The mentor will work in partnership with the Action4Youth core team based at The Junction, as well as schools and other organisations such as social services, the Youth Offending Service and Buckinghamshire Council to identity and refer young people.
The mentor will work with a mixture of young people from different backgrounds, some of whom may have disabilities or additional needs. This intervention will work with young people who are experiencing low self-esteem and confidence, anxiety, low level mental ill health and challenging behaviour.
In order to build a rapport with the young person interactions will be face to face and the mentor will meet them for approximately 1 to 2 hours per week for a 6 to 12 week period.
The mentoring programme is free of charge for all young people.
Activities structure and the role:
· To be a positive role model at all times
- To liaise with schools and other key organisations to promote the mentoring service and receive referrals.
- Work with the staff team at The Junction to deliver group work sessions and assist with general youth work on two days per week
- Build a rapport with young people and manage a caseload.

The Role
The project funded by the Elwyn Thomas Memorial Fund will deliver an Emotional Support Service as well as through collaborative community working, will result in valuable assets for the community. Reporting to the Emotional Support Service Manager, the team will deliver a professional counselling service to stroke survivors, carers and relatives. Key responsibilities will include:
· Providing one to one counselling to stroke survivors, carers and relatives including those with communication or cognitive difficulties
· Providing counselling sessions in person, on-line or by telephone, throughout Cornwall
· Assessing the appropriateness of counselling for service users by providing emotional needs assessment sessions as well as using appropriate screening/evaluation tools (e.g. PHQ and GAD)
· Managing risk and safeguarding issues in accordance with appropriate legal, ethical and organisational requirements.
About You
You will have:
· An advanced diploma in integrative, humanistic or person-centred counselling/psychotherapy; for example, BACP recognised course or equivalent (i.e. 450 hours skills and theory, 100 hours of supervised practice, 20 hours of personal therapy)

This role is an opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the Milton Keynes NHS mental health service for someone with experience working in health, social care or information and advice, in direct contact with service users.

This will include signposting patients to statutory services including talking therapies and wider community based & voluntary sector support.
