The charity supports people to prepare for, seek, sustain, and progress in employment. Since 2019, Working Well Trust has also been providing this support to people affected by learning difficulties and Autism.
Alongside the more conventional support offering for its beneficiaries, the charity provides them with practical training and employment preparation opportunities via its social enterprises. Operations Manager (Employment Hub)
We are looking for a Operations Manager to lead the transformation of our two social enterprises, Access and Sew & Support so that they successfully combine commercial activities with our new training programme.
The Operations Manager will work closely with the training team, Business & Enterprise Lead and employment workers to develop a programme that will enable more of our clients to move on to paid employment. We also hope that the postholder will also form partnership with local colleges and training providers so that we can bring in new skills into the enterprises. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Chief Executive to develop a new enterprise offering web development and design training.

Redbridge Accommodation Services consists of 4 hostels specialising in supporting people with a history of rough sleeping and homelessness and two homeless shelters that support people off the streets. The service provides temporary and longer-term supported accommodation, to people who may have associated difficulties relating to mental health, substance and alcohol use and trauma and domestic abuse.

JOB PURPOSE:
Mind in the City,Hackney and Waltham Forest, alongside community partners, has been awarded NHS England funding to develop and deliver a ‘Postvention’ service to support people bereaved by suicide. The project will support people in the immediate aftermath of a suicide. Postvention is an internationally evidenced way of reducing risk of suicide in people who have been bereaved in this manner. Interventions offered within this service include peer led support for individuals, within groups and informal support/ memorial events for families with children. We're seeking a calm and compassionate person who is experienced in facilitating groups for people who've experienced grief and trauma to lead our postvention groups to support people who have been bereaved by suicide. The post holders will be employed by Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest and be part of the regional Suicide Prevention Collaborative team, based at different locations offering a range of interventions to people who are at risk of suicide or who have been bereaved by suicide.

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking a Senior Income & Resources Accountant to be responsible for ensuring the effective financial management of the fundraising processes by supporting the Development Office and Country Office. This role is based in either our London or Nigeria GAIN office and is offered on a permanent basis.

About the role
Reporting to the International Finance Manager and based in the International Finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective financial management of the fundraising processes by responding to donor tenders through supporting with the submission of numerous tenders, bids and proposals.
Working with both finance and non-finance staff who are based overseas in developing countries, you will also work in partnership with Directors, providing strategic and technical oversight of all financial aspects of resource management.
Specific responsibilities include;
- ActIing as a Business Partner for the Development Office, creating an active partnership with fundraising staff to track the funding pipeline and provide financial forecasts
- Leading on the preparation of budgets and bidding activity responding to requests for new proposal submissions to donors from the Development Office and Country Offices
- Assisting in identifying resource gaps within the organisation and establish linkages to the funding pipeline
- Providing guidance and training to finance colleagues on GAIN’s proposal development processes
- Assisting in the preparation of Development Office board papers and funding analyses
- Actively engaging with and contributing to the development and implementation of new procedures and systems
- Ad-hoc tasks as directed by the International Finance Manager or the Chief Financial Officer
About you
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (or current studier), with relevant international NGO and major donor (EU / DFID / USAID / Dutch MFA/ BMZ) experience. You will have strategic financial management experience supporting with the preparation of tenders, budgets, multi-currency reporting and forecasts with a track record of engagement with fundraising and working on donor funded projects.
You will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial matters in a clear and straightforward way to all levels of finance and non-finance staff. You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders within an international and multi-cultural matrix environment.

The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Officer to join us in our Greenwich based 8 bed intensive supported housing service for individuals with Mental Health. This scheme gives you a great opportunity to work closely with professionals such as psychologist’s, as well as the close-knit, friendly team of 5 Support Officers and 1 Specialist Support Officer.
• Location: Greenwich, London
• Salary: £21,955.50 per annum
• Contract: Full time, permanent
• Shifts: 37.5 hours per week hours varying from 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 1pm-9pm, 1:30pm-9:30pm, 10am-6pm. You will be required to work approximately every other weekend.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Undertaking key work sessions, support planning, risk assessments and needs reviews.
• Creating an environment that promotes opportunities for our customers to develop, learn and enable skills towards independence
• Use SMART goal planning to provide needs led holistic support
• Support customers to develop the necessary skills to live independently, and to access training, education, and work.
What you will need to succeed

• Experience of working with people that have a mental health diagnosis, either in a support capacity
