Summary of the role:
The Communications Officer plays a key role in executing the organisation’s communication strategy. This role involves creating and managing content for various platforms, supporting media relations, and contributing to the overall communication campaigns and public relations efforts. The Communications Officer will work closely with other team members and the marketing team to ensure that all communication activities are aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals and effectively engage target audiences.

We are looking for an Individual Giving Manager for a 10 month maternity cover role starting from September 2025 until July 2026, to take responsibility for the operational planning and delivery of public fundraising programmes in line with agreed strategic fundraising goals, to grow individual giving income and the number of individual supporters.

The Role
Oversee and manage the implementation of a developing and ambitious individual giving programme that seeks to engage more arts lovers, recruits new donors (including regular givers), and retains and develops existing supporters.
Manage direct reports and teams responsible for individual/regular/in memory giving, community fundraising, supporter engagement, and trading income, promoting a culture of collaboration.
Maximise the use of digital engagement and fundraising opportunities to test concepts & messaging.
Report on appeals, campaigns, supporter journeys and other individual giving plans to provide insight on which plans can be optimised to deliver the best results.
The Candidate
Strong experience of delivering fundraising work plans to achieve against set income targets across all areas of responsibility (i.e., public donations, member schemes, community fundraising).
Significant experience of effective line-management and of managing fundraising teams.
Experience of donor audiences, supporter journeys and fundraising programme insight to take an audience-led approach to delivering fundraising campaigns.
Experience of digital and direct marketing strategy to improve engagement and deliver income targets.

About the role
We are recruiting a Project & Outreach Manager to help raise the profile and accessibility of NCT Walk & Talk across England supporting volunteers to leverage NCT’s existing local networks and encouraging take up in new areas.
Funded by Sport England, as part of an ambitious programme of change for NCT Walk & Talk, this post will be responsible for increasing the number of walks taking place and the number of new and expectant parents engaging with this service. This is a key role under the ‘More Parents, More Impact pillar of our For Every Parent 2023-28 strategy which will support NCT's focus on tackling health inequalities, enabling parents to create connections and build local, supportive communities.

Person Specification

- Excellent relationship building and application writing skills. Experience in Trust fundraising or an equivalent field is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
- Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
- Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.
Write applications and reports
- Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
- Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
- Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
- Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner.
Data Management and Monitoring
- Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
- Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.
Line Management
- Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.
