Suffolk Wildlife Trust is seeking a Digital Content Officer to help us share the story of our work, inspire people across the county and drive our mission to “bring nature back to Suffolk”, and vision of a ““A Wilder Suffolk where nature is thriving and abundant because everyone is doing more to help”. This role is central to how we communicate our impact and connect people with wildlife, ensuring that our voice for nature is clear, compelling and far-reaching.

As a Digital Content Officer, you will be part of the Marketing & Communications team, working across departments to gather stories and create engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences. You will lead on digital communications, including managing our social media accounts, website, and e-newsletters, and play a key role in delivering inspiring campaigns that encourage more people to take action for wildlife and support the charity.

Your work will include planning, creating and publishing content such as videos, images, graphics and written stories that showcase the Trust’s impact and celebrate Suffolk’s wildlife and landscapes. By amplifying these stories, you will help raise awareness, build engagement and attract new members and supporters.

The role also involves co-ordinating local and national awareness campaigns, ensuring that Suffolk Wildlife Trust continues to be recognised as a trusted voice for nature. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week -  Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm based at our main office Brooke House in Ashbocking. We operate flexible homeworking arrangements where colleagues spend more time working together than homeworking. The starting salary will be between £26,000.00 and £28,000.00 per annum, depending on skills, knowledge and experience.

Prevention Programme Manager

Salary: £33,410 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting)

STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our prevention programmes disrupt traffickers’ ability to recruit at-risk individuals by providing lifesaving information through our bespoke, geo-targeted social media campaigns.

A Prevention Programme Manager designs and implements effective prevention initiatives across different regions. This role combines strategy and hands-on execution, overseeing projects from inception to completion while ensuring alignment with objectives, budgets, and timelines. By leveraging strategic partnerships, digital communication, and intelligence-driven insights, the Programme Manager develops targeted interventions, strengthens prevention strategies, and ensures impactful programme delivery.

Collaboration is central to this position. The successful candidate will work closely with NGOs, governments, law enforcement, and Financial Institutions, contributing to a global anti-trafficking movement. Data-driven insights will inform digital campaigns, ensuring tailored responses to trafficking risks and at-risk communities.

Responsibilities:

· Programme Management

o Lead the design and implementation of prevention programmes on social media.

o Manage project roadmaps, budgets, and objectives to ensure high-impact delivery.

o Adapt programme strategies based on regional needs, cultural nuances, and emerging trends.

o Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to address challenges.

o Build and manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, law enforcement, funders, and community leaders.

· Research & Intelligence Gathering

o Support intelligence-building efforts by collaborating with partners to strengthen the data and evidence base on trafficking networks and recruitment methods in an area. This includes data sharing initiatives, alongside interviews with MSHT experts and individuals with lived experience of MSHT.

o Use intelligence findings to effectively enhance programme design and map the target audience of social media-based campaigns.

o Deliver trainings to different stakeholders, including financial institutions, on MSHT.

· Campaign & Communications Strategy

o Develop campaign materials, including social media ads, posters, landing pages, and other primarily digital resources in line with STT brand guidelines.

o Deliver and monitor digital campaigns to deliver safety information to at-risk communities, primarily using ‘ads manager’ functions on social media platforms.

o Directly communicate and safeguard any beneficiaries who see our campaign and want to discuss their situation with us, signposting them to support in a trauma-informed way.

Social Media Strategy & Management

• Lead on branding, digital presence (website, social media, newsletters), and compelling storytelling to grow awareness, engage supporters, and recruit staff/volunteers. 

• Develop and deliver campaigns, newsletters, and case studies with sensitivity, ensuring consistent brand representation and co-produced content with beneficiaries.

We’re looking for a proactive and skilled digital marketer to help us grow our reach and connect with our audiences. You’ll bring hands-on experience in planning and delivering multi-stage paid digital campaigns, along with a curious mindset that drives continuous learning and improvement.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Communications and Campaigns Lead to deliver high-impact public communications and campaigns that strengthen Z2K’s profile, influence change and support our fundraising goals.

Working closely with the Director of Policy & Engagement and colleagues across the organisation, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of engaging communications and campaign activity across digital, media and supporter channels. You will also mobilise supporters and communities for in-person actions that amplify our campaigns and deepen public engagement.

You’ll play a key role in bringing our new organisational strategy and planned rebrand to life - ensuring our external messaging reflects our values, demonstrates our impact, and helps secure the income and influence needed to deliver our mission.

The Digital Marketing Officer will play a key role in delivering and managing WAF’s digital content and channels. Working closely with the Managing Director and Marketing & Fundraising Consultant, the role will help to implement and grow WAF’s digital marketing strategy—creating compelling, creative, and consistent content that drives engagement, raises income, and strengthens our brand.

About the Charity

The Wildlife Aid Foundation (WAF) is an animal charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of British wildlife. We are passionate about protecting the future for our native species.

We run one of the UK’s busiest wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centres. We deal with over 20,000 wildlife-related incidents, each year. It’s a 24/7 job. On any given day, our rescuers will be scaling trees to rescue stranded baby owls or cutting fox cubs from garden netting. Our vets will be performing life-saving surgery, while our carers look after hundreds of patients and young babies being nursed in our rehab centre.

We rely on a small army of over 300 volunteers and run popular outreach and education programmes that help people take actions to make the world a better place for us and our animal neighbours in the natural world.

We are one of the longest-established wildlife centres in the UK and have been championing British wildlife for over 40 years.

The Role: Digital Marketing Officer

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Manage WAF’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok), including scheduling daily content, posts, stories, and reels.

• Create engaging, on-brand content using a mix of video, imagery, graphics, and copy tailored to each platform.
• Work with the Marketing Consultant to implement a social media strategy and content plan, ensuring alignment with charity objectives and audience insights.

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Develop creative digital content (graphics, short-form video, infographics, blogs, ads, etc.) to inspire, educate, and motivate audiences to support WAF.
• Support the production of marketing and fundraising materials, working with colleagues to capture and edit video, imagery, and stories.
• Maintain WAF’s brand voice and visual identity across all digital platforms.
• To design and develop literature and assets for both online and offline media.
• To liaise with social media channels (such as the Dodo) and other media outlets to provide content to support these 3rd party organisations in promoting WAF.

Website Management

• Update and refresh website content, including rescue stories, blogs, species fact pages, and campaign updates.
• Support the management and promotion of WAF’s online shop, ensuring content is engaging and up to date.

Campaigns & Products

• To support the Marketing & Fundraising Consultant with the creating and delivery of the annual fundraising strategy.  Creating supporting content and identifying onsite stories that engage audiences.
• Contribute ideas for new digital campaigns, appeals, and supporter engagement opportunities.
• Liaise with potential designers in collaborating and launching new merchandise.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Proven experience managing social media channels in a professional context.
• Strong digital content creation skills (graphic design, short-form video, copywriting).
• Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of digital analytics and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling.

What you will be doing

This is a strategic and creative role at the heart of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s national fundraising and engagement efforts. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of national community and challenge event programmes across all four UK regions (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).

Using strong project and campaign management skills, the role will grow existing initiatives charity owned initiatives such as the Great British Dog Walk and the 28 Challenge and develop new, audience-led campaigns that inspire public participation, drive fundraising, and deepen long-term engagement with the charity.

In addition to the owned initiatives, the role will promote Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to participants of external national events such as The Great North Run or the London Marathon.

The ultimate objectives are to drive income generation and guide supporters from initial involvement to becoming volunteers for the broader work of the charity and legacy pledgers.
