Job description

We are looking for a highly organised self-motivator who likes to get results - often through effective and efficient admin processes. You will enjoy using personalised communications to persuade organisations, businesses and groups or individuals to sign up to our funded (free) courses. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a national charity and work with both the Marketing and Training teams.

This is a critical role for generating essential funds for the charity by delivering on our recruitment to contract-funded courses. You will thrive in this role if you love being organised and have a very strong attention to detail.

Please reflect that grit and resilience are required for this role given the remote working, subject matter, fast paced and flexible multi-tasking. If you have recently been affected by suicide, please consider carefully if this role would be right for you, as your welfare is the utmost priority, and our work may be triggering.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work closely with Head of Marketing on effective and impactful approaches to get results

· Recruit participants onto our funded courses mainly through personalised direct marketing

· Researching relevant organisations and key contacts where funded courses are being offered

· Enter data into our CRM of contacts and activity

· Send out bespoke individual emails to organisations to raise awareness of our offer and increase conversion

· Work with our Training Manager to identify key contacts to follow up with sales calls

· Monitor engagement and conversion of outreach activities

· Send a weekly update of sign ups on each contract to senior staff

· With support of our marketing team, create compelling digital content to help promote our funded courses

· Review, monitor and report on all outreach activity.

To be successful in this role, you must be responsive, extremely organised, have attention to detail, be able to meet deadlines, and passionate about seeing growth and progress in your work.

Essential criteria:

  • Adept at all aspects of Microsoft Office
  • Inputting data into a CRM system
  • To be an excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Evidence of being resilient and working successfully remotely
  • A genuine passion for the Grassroots Suicide Prevention’s mission and values
  • To have a positive “can-do” attitude and a thirst to adapt to different tasks and challenges.

Bonus points for:

  • Using and understanding Salesforce
  • Using and understanding Eventbrite
  • Using and understanding Hubspot
  • Using and understanding Bitly
  • Working with marketing
  • Writing impactful copy.
