Main duties and responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities & Tasks
Departmental & Role Specifics
· Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk, cyber security breach and fraud
· Support the Board of Trustees in the discharge of their responsibilities for reserves
· Accountability for the three year rolling financial plan of the Charity
· Manage the cash flow of the Charity, ensuring the Charity meets its liabilities as they fall due and implement the Trust’s Savings and Investment Policy and Financial Free Reserves policy.
· Co-ordinate the Charity’s insurance requirements, liaising with insurance brokers to ensure adequate insurance cover is maintained and ensure claims are dealt with
· Accountability for performance to contract and contract review with our external ICT providers
· Overall accountability for the hard and soft facilities annual plan and health and safety compliance supported by the Head of Operations
· Support the implementation of EPOS and accurate and timely financial information on trading
· Undertake benchmarking exercises from time to time to assess value for money.

Job Description:
· Work with the Programme team, to design and deliver educational resources, workshops and conferences including our Youth & Democracy, Rule of Law, and intergenerational change programme areas;
· Deliver Exploring Ethics and other Cumberland Lodge workshops as requested;
· Identify potential partners and collaborate with stakeholders related to programme activity;
· Produce funding proposals;
· Produce and/or editing briefing papers and reports when required;
· Produce digital content for online learning and engage regularly with the community engagement platform, including identifying topics, producing webinars and podcasts;

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Based at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park. (Applicants should be aware that Cumberland Lodge is not easily accessible by public transport).
Hybrid working available, with a minimum 3 days a week in the office.
The role requires flexible working. There will be some weekend and evening duties, including programme events, facilitating workshops for visiting groups, talks and tours of the Lodge (shared on a rota basis). Accommodation will be provided on site when evening work is required.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join UKCF at a time of growth, ambition and innovation. We are looking for an interim Partnerships Officer to help us build and deliver impactful national partnerships that bring real, measurable benefits to communities across the UK.

About the role
We are seeking an exceptional, creative and strategic fundraising leader to shape and deliver a new public fundraising and supporter engagement strategy, driving significant income growth across individual giving, legacies, community, events and trading.
As Associate Director, Public Fundraising, you will be a motivating leader for the talented Supporter Engagement team. You will work with your leadership group to build on our successful approach to mass fundraising, aligning with our new organisational strategy to drive long-term transformational growth.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Together for Short Lives is a charity that ensures seriously ill children and their families receive the care they need, especially at the end of life. The Florence Nightingale Foundation is seeking an active registrant of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), with a Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline such as healthcare leadership, organisational development, or education to be our Head of Leadership Development, responsible for ensuring that our programmes and opportunities are truly world class.

We are seeking a Head of Leadership Development who will provide senior leadership as part of the Academy team, responsible for ensuring that all our programmes and opportunities are truly world class. Your leadership contribution will support continued integration of the functions of FNF’s Academy, evolution and growth of our programmes portfolio, and build our world class team.
As an active registrant of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), with a relevant Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline such as healthcare leadership, organisational development, or education, you will use your significant experience in designing and delivering leadership development programmes and proven track record in quality assurance to drive the continued development of our programme portfolio.
As an expert leadership development practitioner with deep knowledge of adult educational principles and an advanced professional skillset, you will be able to integrate and apply your personal experience of senior organisational leadership into your personal leadership development practice and guide the practice of others. Your track record of business development and income generation through delivery of compelling proposals will help you to cultivate a robust pipeline of sustainable income opportunities.

I am working exclusively with a respected not-for-profit organisation who are currently in the market for a very proactive and experienced HR Administrator to join their HR team, working on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the view of potentially extending (via a fair and open process). You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative support to the HR team.
You will act as a first point of contact for HR related administrative queries and support the team with a wide variety of HR tasks. This will include recruitment support and candidate liaison, administration support for the learning and development programme, new starter onboarding, HR inbox management as well as arranging meetings, and providing light diary and administration support for the HR Director.
Key Duties
Administration and support
- As a member of the HR team, you will ensure that all administration activities which support the work of the HR team are managed in a proactive and efficient way.
- Support the daily proactive management of the HR inbox, ensuring that appropriate action is taken to respond and forward relevant emails to the HR team with follow-up actions if needed.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Director, which could include room booking, arranging meetings and other ad-hoc requests.
- Maintain and keep up-to-date digital employee files and ensure employment records and documents are compliant, filed and retained according to data management and retention guidelines. Support a longer-term project to move to full digitisation of all HR files.
- Input data into the HR information system and other agreed systems such as address changes, holiday requests etc.
- Maintain structure charts, recruitment spreadsheets and HR activity trackers to ensure they are set up and utilised in the most effective way.
- Support the delivery of HR or L&D projects or events, including room bookings and catering administration
- Responsible for financial administration such as purchase orders, setting up new suppliers and invoice management
- Keep up to date with relevant employment law and understanding of various HR administrative activities
Recruitment Administration
- Support employment and recruitment administration, including liaison with employment agencies, candidates and hiring managers
- Prepare, review and amend letters and documents to support key HR activities, including employee onboarding, probation and induction.
- Conduct new starter HR inductions and support exit arrangements
- Ensure that the relevant HR activity checklists are up-to-date and stored correctly for each activity
- Maintain any trackers that support the HR team activities and be responsible for the consistent use and application of these as sources of accurate HR information.
Systems
- Support the team in the move towards two new HR platforms this year, and any additional administration around these projects.
- Maintain the HRIS system and Applicant Tracking System where appropriate
- Provide administration support for logging, reviewing and editing data requests within the HR Information system as well as new starter and leaver IT requests.
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent administrative experience and evidence of supporting a range of activities to support core business needs
- Understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising jobs, arranging interviews, drafting contracts and onboarding.
- Experience of using data systems and record keeping systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Computer-literate and good knowledge of MS Office and SharePoint
- Proactive and solution focused
- Able to prioritise work and support the activities of a fast-paced team

- The COO mentors other directors and departmental heads and fosters leadership capabilities across teams.
- They establish and track KPIs to identify inefficiencies and guide improvements through data-driven decision-making to enhance accountability and results.
- They evaluate and refine workflows to boost productivity developing efficient processes to reduce waste and improve service quality.
- They act as a bridge between departments and the CEO to ensure cohesive execution of strategic plans preventing silos and promoting organisational synergy.
- The COO serves as a senior figure in national and cross-sector forums, conferences, and strategic partnerships to strengthens the organisation’s voice and influence.

About You
Essential competencies of the Chief Operating Officer:
- Extensive experience in senior leadership with a proven track record in operations, financial and risk management, and delivering high-performing teams, ideally in the charity sector.
- Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Commercially astute, process-driven, and highly pragmatic in approach.
- Experience in driving performance and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; MBA preferred
