The person
You will have a passion for graphic design and thrive on identifying and maximising opportunities for the charity to look and feel its brilliant best. You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage multiple stakeholders and design briefs simultaneously.
Key accountabilities
- Developing a wide range of creative to help raise awareness of who we are and what we do, promote our services and support our fundraising efforts.
- Pitching creative concepts in response to briefs from teams across Whizz Kidz (including Services, Fundraising, Policy, Volunteering, Corporate and Trusts).
- Responding to design briefs, creating a wide range of design elements and assets – including digital campaign assets, website and social assets, branded merchandise and printed publications.
- Project managing design processes from conception through to completion, including taking into account feedback, liaising with print partners and the management of any centralised stock.
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with our print partners, ensuring that all materials created are proofed and to the desired standard.
- Offering training and support to colleagues using our new branded templates when necessary.
- Looking after our brand guidelines and developing new guidelines where required.
- Responding to design enquiries promptly and providing information and materials to colleagues in a timely manner when requested.

About the opportunity:

Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination and administration of annual sponsored fundraising events Action Tutoring engages with, such as the Hackney Half marathon and London 10K, including the promotion of events, onboarding of runners, campaign page creation, encouraging participants to raise funds, organising materials to be sent to runners (e.g. t-shirts) and tracking of fundraising targets.

- Support the organisation and coordination of fundraising and key profile raising events, such as evening events, Action Tutoring anniversary celebrations or funder breakfasts, through sourcing suitable venues and overseeing logistics.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is looking for an Information Officer to join our busy and supportive team at an exciting time of rapid change in cystic fibrosis and the information landscape. Changes in clinical care, treatments and the experiences and needs of people with CF have prompted a dramatic increase in the breadth and volume of information we need to create. At the same time, AI, disinformation and misinformation mean accurate, trusted information is more important than ever.
To navigate the changing landscape of CF and health information, you’ll need editorial expertise and a commitment to engaging with and empowering the cystic fibrosis community through the development of high quality, engaging, accessible information in print and digital formats.
You will develop and maintain our extensive offer of health and other information, including our library of factsheets, special topic information packs, web content and videos aimed at people affected by cystic fibrosis and clinical teams. You will make sure that our resources meet the needs of our target audiences through sensitive and meaningful involvement with people with CF and healthcare professionals.
You will have experience of producing high quality, comprehensive information for people with health conditions from concept through to publication and a knack for making complex health information easy to understand. An understanding of and commitment to the criteria of the Patient Information Forum quality kitemark (the PIF TICK) is integral to the role.
This position will involve working on multiple projects concurrently, juggling priorities, being proactive in your approach and creating reactive information to address emerging issues. As our new Community Heat and Energy Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering our major new community heat and energy workstrand. You’ll work with local communities and expert research partners to move forward local renewable energy projects which help power clean heat solutions at three different sites in England, as well as developing ways to remove barriers to delivering this type of project, such as supplying energy locally and matching supply and demand.
- Contract: 16 months at 4.5 days per week (or a nine-day fortnight if preferred). We are not accepting applications for job shares for this role. While we would like to extend the contract beyond 16 months, as this is a grant-funded role, we cannot currently offer this.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. You will oversee monitoring and evaluation projects across Tender, engaging stakeholders within and outside the charity. You will also provide research-based advice and expertise to internal teams, using your insights to help inform and develop practice.
Your expertise will strengthen the impact we have on over 30,000 young people every year and play a crucial role in raising the funding needed to continue delivering this work.
Role Purpose
The main purposes of the Corporate Partnerships Officer role are:
- Managing the continually improving the digital systems to improve Tender’s monitoring and evaluation structures and procedures
- Leading the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and processes across Tender, with the support of the COO
- Distilling learning from Tender’s work and wider research into key insights to inform ongoing service improvement, new initiatives, policy work, profile-raising and income generation
- Conducting research into arts-based and other interventions to prevent violence against women and girls (VAWG) and applying insights to improve Tender’s work
Essential knowledge and experience
- Understanding of impact measurement and evaluation, applying appropriate and proportionate approaches, tools and methods to maximise learning at project and organisational level
- Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research techniques and comfortable using them to gather relevant data
- Understanding of the use of theories of change and outcomes frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in office and CRM software, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI
- Experience of data administration and analytics, sometimes from disjointed data sets, with the ability to produce high-quality outputs to clearly explain findings
- Experience of responding to and managing customer expectations, tailoring approach to the needs of the customer and developing new and innovative options
- Experience of building and maintaining successful relationships with diverse range of partners across corporate, public, and third sectors

About the Role
