About the role
Working closely with the Digital Fundraising Manager on digital fundraising appeals, delivery, reporting, budgets, and campaigns this role is responsible for supporting and contributing to the Digital team in delivery of the digital priorities for the charity, across fundraising, communications and campaigns.
About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in working in the charity sector on digital appeals and campaign delivery across digital fundraising and communications channels. A mix of digital content creation, analytics, scheduling and delivery skills are essential for this role. Paid digital advertising experience would be advantageous.

Role Overview

Role Responsibilities:
● Support Finance Manager in day-to-day financial operations, including month-end
and year-end closing processes:
● Cash Management: Overseeing the handling of cash receipts and
disbursements, ensuring accurate recording, and managing bank balances.
This includes reconciling bank accounts and petty cash.
● Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and
credit card statements, ensuring that balances are accurate and up to date.
● Journal Adjustments: Making entries in the accounting system to correct errors
or to record transactions that are not entered automatically.
This specifically includes:
● Prepayments: Accounting for expenses paid in advance.
● Accruals: Recognizing expenses incurred but not yet paid, or income

● Prepare mid and end of the month BACS payment run and ensure that

Person Specification
● Previous Officer/Administrator experiences are ideal but not necessary.

What you’ll do:
- Lead on the development and day-to-day running of the online shop including platform improvements
- Develop digital marketing plans, that complement the overall Trading communication plans, to drive traffic and sales to the online shop
- Add products to the online shop using clear, consistent content that is bold and creative to drive sales
- Constantly review content to ensure that the information is compelling, audience-focused accurate and relevant
What you’ll bring:
- A strong understanding and experience of Shopify including designing pages, basic HTML and CSS coding, digital best practice and marketing
- Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating digital marketing activity across paid and owned channels
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to convey complex matters clearly and coherently
