Job Summary

This role will be responsible for leading & managing fundraising data, and strategic oversight of fundraising data systems and processes, managing a team to employ process efficiencies and improve data quality ensuring seamless integration between CRM systems and external platforms to drive income generation across the full spectrum of the donor data landscape and deliver fundraising operations. You’ll also lead on behalf of fundraising on CRM development and enhancement requests to support data-driven fundraising decisions and strategies.

• Extensive experience working across CRM platforms (including D365 Mission CRM or similar), managing system selections, and leading CRM enhancement projects.
• Skilled in data analytics, building reporting frameworks, and using database languages like SQL, along with managing data imports and Direct Debit processes.

This is a key role within a small and busy finance team. Job Description

Purchase and payments

• Ensure all invoices, expenses and credit notes received are processed following the agreed systems and controls.
• Process invoices and expenses into the accounting system.
• Creation of twice weekly and ad-hoc pay runs.
• Process and pay file generated into the bank software.
• Produce and send out remittances.
• Aged creditors review monthly
• Oversee that authorisation processes are being followed by staff.
• Process staff expense claims following the agreed systems and controls.
• Organise and process occasional cash floats and petty cash, ensuring unspent cash is accounted for and all transactions evidenced and recorded.

Card purchases

• Oversee day to day administration of card purchases, ensuring cardholders upload receipts and code transactions by the stated month end deadlines.
• Transfer fully evidenced and coded transactions from credit card template to Sage
• Reconcile transactions to the bank statements

Sales

• Raise sales invoices as requested and per income schedule.
• Sending out sales invoices to customers.
• Creation of a debtors report twice a month and distribute.
• Coordinate with operational staff for the recovery of debt; escalating in line with procedures.
• Posting cash receipts and allocate to the relevant invoice.
• Aged debts management

Banking

• Reconcile banking on a timely basis
• Post direct debit payments

Inbox management and other queries

• Daily review of new messages received into the finance email inbox from staff, suppliers and other parties, dealing with queries directly where possible.
• Be especially vigilant about phishing, Malware / spam emails which are common in generically named inboxes and following all data protection guidance given.
• For more involved queries, liaise with and assist other finance team members to resolve them appropriately; maintain responsibility for ensuring they are resolved.
• Excellent organisation and administration of both inboxes, to ensure the status of queries is clear at all times and appropriate records are kept on file.

Other regular tasks

• Support the Finance Manager with weekly payroll administration, for example communications with staff members regarding timesheets and new starter information.
• Pay cheques and cash into the bank account, including accurate completion of banking.
• Withdraw cash from the bank as necessary
• Lead on ensuring the digital filing structure is adhered to and support the rest of the team with scanning and filing as needed.
• Lead on the archiving of paper documents stored in the office.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Legacy Marketing Manager to play a key role in shaping the future of our legacy marketing programme.

Legacy gifts are our single largest source of voluntary income, with significant potential for growth. To recognise this, we have secured additional investment to help us engage, inspire and acquire new legacy supporters through multi-channel marketing activities.

Working closely with the Heads of Fundraising Campaigns and Individual Giving, you will develop strategies to raise awareness of gifts in Wills, reach new audiences and develop new supporter journeys to engage new and existing legacy pledgers and prospects with our research.

As a creative, innovative and data-led marketeer, you will develop and deliver our legacy fundraising programme with the support of your direct reports – the Legacy Marketing and Legacy Stewardship Officers – and the Digital Marketing and Fundraising Communications teams. 

You will also build important relationships with colleagues across the Development Office, including working with Philanthropy to promote legacy giving to their audiences.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will plan, manage and execute multi-channel campaigns across the marketing mix and work with your team to deliver exceptional campaigns and stewardship, to recruit, retain and engage our committed supporters.

• Work with your Manager to devise and implement marketing and stewardship strategies to maximise legacy giving and engage with existing legacy pledgers.

About the role:

This role's primary purpose is to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of Respect's training programmes. Supporter Acquisition Manager – Temporary Contract

A leading UK charity is seeking an experienced Supporter Acquisition Manager to join their fundraising team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on high-profile, multi-channel campaigns that attract and inspire new supporters—at a pivotal time for the organisation.

About the Role

As Supporter Acquisition Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end delivery of direct marketing campaigns focused on recruiting new donors. You’ll manage campaigns across a mix of online and offline channels—such as paid social, PPC, DRTV, and direct mail—and will be responsible for budgets reaching up to seven figures.

Working closely with media and creative agencies, internal stakeholders, and suppliers, you’ll ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. You’ll also line-manage a Supporter Acquisition Officer or Executive, supporting their development while maintaining delivery excellence.

This is a hands-on role with real impact, ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced project work and is ready to hit the ground running.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of multi-channel donor acquisition campaigns
• Manage large campaign budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI

What We're Looking For:

• Significant experience in direct marketing or individual giving, ideally within the charity sector
• Proven success running large-scale, multi-channel campaigns
• Confidence managing large budgets and using data to inform decision-making
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder relationship management
• Line management experience preferred
• Familiarity with GDPR, fundraising compliance, and digital channels (e.g. paid social, PPC) is desirable

We are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-known charity, who are seeking a Direct Marketing and Legacy Manager. This exciting opportunity begins in September on a 12-week contract, making it ideal for someone finishing a contract in August or looking to start a new role after the summer break. There is also the potential for this position to become permanent following the initial contract period.

This role is crucial in supporting the strategic direction and operational plans for individual giving programmes, including appeals, regular giving, and legacies, with the aim of maximising net income from both new and existing streams. The Direct Marketing and Legacy Manager will play a key part in reigniting the legacy programme and growing overall Individual Giving income to ensure long-term support for their service users. 

Key responsibilities:

• Work with the Head of department to plan and oversee retention and acquisition campaigns, ensuring they meet income and expenditure targets.

• Create KPIs and income targets, measuring and reporting on progress against the Individual Giving and Legacy strategy, making data-driven decisions.

• Further the Digital Strategy, optimising digital response as a primary opportunity.

• Develop and implement a multi-year legacy strategy to build a strong legacy pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding annual income targets.

• Develop and manage new Retention and Acquisition initiatives.

• Manage existing activities, review, evaluate, and report on them in a timely manner to optimise and expand income goals.

• Ensure close working across the organisation to demonstrate impact and build collaborative funding approaches.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on sector and market trends and the legal environment impacting legacy fundraising.

• Create a legacy stewardship plan and manage the portfolio of legacy supporters and prospects.

• Create clear supporter journeys for new and existing supporters, legacy donors, and prospects.

• Write and coordinate the delivery of persuasive legacy marketing, cultivation, and stewardship materials.

• Maintain meticulous records on the CRM and work closely with the Legacy Administrator to ensure income is properly received, recorded, and reported.

• Build excellent working relationships with colleagues across the organisation and key partners.

• Work with other members of the team to create a long-term strategy to improve joint communications.

• Work with the communication team to build a bank of personal stories for compelling appeals.

• Manage expenditure and work with the Head of department on budget management and pipeline reporting.

• Contribute to a supportive, high-performing, and collaborative working culture.

Person Specifications:

• Excellent organisation, time management, and multi-tasking skills.

• Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delighting supporters.

• Knowledge of fundraising laws and regulations in relation to data protection and compliance.

• Extensive knowledge of the Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice.

• Experience of managing direct marketing campaigns in a charity environment and direct experience of overseeing a legacy strategy to build or re-invigorate a legacy pipeline.

• Experience of managing external agencies and suppliers.

• Experience of detailed analysis and evaluation of activities.

• Experience of developing digital communications.

• Strong experience of legacy fundraising with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding six or seven-figure annual legacy income targets.

• An outstanding track record and aptitude for creating meaningful connections with high-value prospects and partners.

• Experience planning and executing annual stewardship activities and events.

• Extensive experience working with non-fundraising colleagues to strengthen fundraising activity.

• Management or mentorship of staff and/or volunteers.

• Previous budget and KPI management experience, including preparation of annual fundraising strategies, plans, and reports.

• A proactive, self-starter who is comfortable working alone but can also be a team player.

• Ability to take a hands-on approach in a rapidly changing environment, adapting as necessary.

The National Youth Agency is looking for a new Local Quality Manager to join our Youth Work Innovation & Development Team.
 
Contract: 12 months fixed term

Remote: This role is homebased (within the UK) with occasional travel for staff residentials and other events.

As the national body for youth work, the NYA has a dual function. We are the professional statutory and regulatory body (PSRB) responsible for qualifications, quality standards, and safeguarding for youth work and services in England. In line with our charity mission and aims, we also champion youth work through research, advocacy, campaigns, and programmes.
 
We work in partnership and believe in collaborative leadership, listening to youth workers and the youth work sector so that we can understand their needs and respond to the challenges they face. About the Role
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Lead delivery of key Local Offer programmes, such as our successful Peer Review and Peer Network Programme, which are designed to support Local Authorities and organisations in meeting the needs of young people and in the case of Local Authorities meet their Statutory Duty (section 507B).
• Manage the delivery of traded services relating to Quality Standards and Organisational Development.
• Manage and regularly update both existing and new online resources related to Quality Standards, ensuring consistency and standardisation across all materials.
• Collaborate with the National Curriculum and Learning Manager to influence the youth work curriculum and share learning and insight from programmes
• Work collaboratively with the Youth Investment Fund Programme Manager to inform and develop Quality Standards.
• Work with Local Policy & Partnerships Manager and the NYA Knowledge Team to develop sector insights and to share learning and knowledge across NYA teams and the youth work sector.
• Collaborate with Local Authorities and partner organisations to promote awareness and encourage participation in NYA programmes and Quality Standards.
• Utilise NYA tools, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Project Management systems, to generate timely and relevant performance and financial reports that support informed decision making and effective programme delivery. Experience of using project management platform (or similar) would be an advantage.
• Provide line-management and support to peers and officers as required.

 
Our ideal Local Quality Improvement Manager should have the following:

• Extensive experience working directly with young people across diverse settings, demonstrating a deep understanding of youth development and engagement.
• Demonstrated expertise managing youth work programmes and improving practice standards, including within Local Authority contexts.
• Proven experience in assessing youth work against established standards and implementing quality assurance processes for effective management, delivery, and evaluation.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in embedding best practices in youth voice, participation, and leadership within services and programmes.
• Strong understanding of the current challenges facing Local Authorities and youth sector organisations, and the implications for young people’s needs and service delivery.
• Ability to analyse complex organisational and Local Authority structures, reflect critically, and articulate clear recommendations for improvement and recognition of effective practice.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with experience supporting and managing peers and officers in a collaborative environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and work effectively with partners and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in project management, with a proactive, self-starting approach and a strong focus on solutions and outcomes.
• Resilient, flexible, and ambitious, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain high standards.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
