We are recruiting a new Associate Director of Advancement to help shape the future of ASU in the UK and Europe. As Associate Director, you will have the opportunity to engage with a unique, vibrant, and fast-growing global community who are deeply dedicated to inclusion and global impact, seeking solutions to some of our world’s most pressing problems. You will be fundraising for dynamic priorities such as scholarships, centres and professorships, while also having the opportunity to co-create projects with donors, across the full spectrum of ASU’s schools and centres.
A key member of a small but crucial team in the UK, you will work remotely with teams of skilled and dynamic colleagues based predominantly in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as others around the world. You will also have the opportunity to travel across the U.K. and Europe to build relationships with HNWIs, trusts and foundations and corporate partners.

Person specification:
- Extensive knowledge of philanthropy, preferably within higher education, including fundraising best practice
- Extensive knowledge of alumni engagement and its role in building connections and supporting wider institutional priorities
- Demonstrable track record of building relationships and working with prospects to secure gifts at the six-figure level and above
- Experience of leading philanthropic campaigns and exceeding fundraising targets
- Experience of leading and managing teams carrying out philanthropic and/or engagement activities
- Experience of strategic and data-driven operational planning and performance management

The primary responsibilities of the Head of Global IT are:
• Global IT team leadership and management (approximately 25 staff & contractors)
This includes business analysis, project and program management, solution design and selection, technical architecture, software development and maintenance, customer support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
• Alignment through influence
Build strong, trust‑based relationships with executives and functional leaders across fundraising and field operations, using influence, communication, and demonstrable value to drive voluntary alignment.
• AI and innovation
Champion the adoption of AI and automation (e.g., business analysis, software development, analytics, workflows, decision support) to improve program effectiveness, supporter engagement, and internal efficiency.
Promote the Enterprise Architecture, AI, and innovation processes to identify emerging technologies to help drive solutions that increase the value of IT support and services.
• Cybersecurity
Ensure effective cybersecurity posture globally, including policies, awareness, identity and access management, monitoring, incident response, and alignment with relevant standards and regulations.
• Global IT governance
This includes standards and policies that balance consistency with local flexibility, in close partnership with international leadership, fundraising bases, and field operational entities.
Lead and facilitate the creation of governing principles and a board to guide EA and AI decision‑making (e.g., foci, prioritization, value realization, allocation of roles and responsibilities) to enable the long‑term Ministry strategy.
• IT portfolio and program management
This relates to major technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategy, clear business cases, disciplined prioritization, and on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Infrastructure
Oversee Azure and Microsoft‑centric infrastructure, collaboration platforms (e.g., M365/Teams/SharePoint), and core business applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security for a 60+ country footprint.
• Networking
Provide oversight of vendors, partners, and outsourcing relationships to maximize quality, cost‑effectiveness, and mission fit.

In recent years OTR has seen a significant increase in demand for our youth mental health services and we now reach over 17,000 young people each year. We are seeking a Head of Finance to oversee our (circa) £3m annual budget and to ensure that our finance operation is efficient and effective. This role will lead OTR’s finance function and, as well as having responsibility for day-to-day financial processes, will be a key member of the organisation’s senior leadership team (SLT). The role will involve providing financial insight to the SLT and Board of Trustees to improve understanding and inform strategic decision making. Examples of this will include analysing the financial performance of different activities of the organisation and preparing budget and forecast information.
We are looking for an individual with demonstrable experience in a finance management role which includes a strategic focus, preferably in the voluntary sector. The successful candidate will be a flexible and meticulous individual who is able to present complex information to a range of audiences. Equally important is a strong personal interest in and commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of young people.

As the Community Fundraiser covering Mid-North Wales and West Midlands, you will play a crucial role in helping the charity meet its strategic plans and objectives, which include campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.
Your role will be to generate and grow our income through community fundraising activities, contributing to a regional team target of more than £1 million.
