Dons Local Action Group is a volunteer-led community organisation dedicated to supporting people in crisis and creating meaningful impact through collective action. Through partnerships, volunteers and local initiatives, we work to provide practical support and strengthen our communities across food, technology and furniture.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative volunteer to join our Marketing team and help us grow our digital presence, engage supporters, and tell the stories that matter.
What you'll do:
Manage and moderate our social media channels
Support the creation of engaging content across platforms
Help plan and schedule posts and campaigns
Analyse channel performance and identify key insights
Suggest ideas to improve engagement and evolve our communications
We’re looking for someone who:

The VOLUNTEER Opportunity
As a Graphic Designer with SUNSHINE, you will help shape the visual identity of a brand‑new charity at a pivotal moment in its journey.

What You’ll Be Creating
Depending on your skills and availability, you may help design:
Roller banners for events and community stalls
Social media graphics and campaign visuals
Posters, flyers, and promotional materials
Business stationery (letterheads, business cards, templates)
Presentation slides and pitch decks
Infographics and storytelling visuals
Branding assets and visual guidelines
Anything else that helps SUNSHINE shine
We will work with you to match projects to your interests and capacity.

Has experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, Figma, etc.)

We empower patients with mobile/SMS tools to build continuous health records for proactive chronic care
Who are we?
MiMIAT Health is building the patient-anchored operating system for chronic disease management.
We help patients capture longitudinal health data in a structured way, and enable clinicians to review disease evolution more clearly over time. Our first live module focuses on gastrointestinal health, and we are already working across healthcare and institutional environments.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Business Development Associate (EU Market) to help us drive outreach and early commercial conversations with dietitians and nutritionists across the EU market.
This is a focused volunteer role for someone who is comfortable opening conversations, building trust, following up consistently, and helping move interest toward real opportunities. Interested in supporting victims/survivors of domestic abuse?
We are currently recruiting Trustees to help us take the charity forward into the future.
Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline is a registered charity led by a Board of Trustees.
The Trustees (all unpaid volunteers) act individually and collectively, to provide overall stewardship of the charity, in accordance with our governing document and relevant legislation. In essence we look after the staff, volunteers and the organisation, so they can support the community.
You don’t need specific qualifications or experience to be a trustee and we welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and experience.
Prospective candidates will need to:
Have empathy with the work of the Helpline
Be able to devote the necessary time and effort
Have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Have good judgement
Be able to work as a team
Have the ability, commitment and drive to take the organisation forward
Trustee Opportunities
For any charity succession planning is important and with that in mind we are currently looking for people to join our Board as Trustees.
Chair: Our Chair will be stepping down soon after 15 years and we are looking for someone to learn the ropes beside her before taking on the role.
Treasurer: After 10 years, our Treasurer is looking to retire in the next year. The Treasurer’s role description is on our website.
