Key Activities
Donation Processing
- Responsible for the timely recording and processing of all incoming donations (including via our website, bank account, third party platforms and cheques) into the Medair UK CRM (Salesforce).
- Ensure all donors receive gift acknowledgements / thank you letters corresponding to each gift received.
- Maintain up-to-date records of donors, staff and other contacts in the Medair UK database.
- Process and record completed Gift Aid declarations and support in the regular reclaim of Gift Aid.
Financial Administration
- Inputting of all financial data (income and expenditure) into Quick Books.
- Preparing and following up suppliers invoices for payment.
- Processing expenses claims.
- Managing the banking of income and supporter cheques.
- Support the Head of Operations to implement the month and year end reconciliation process for both Salesforce and Quick Books.
Facilities & Office Management
- Act as first point of contact for the office and public enquiries, responding to incoming telephone calls and emails.
- Answer basic enquiries about Medair's work and distributing information to supporters and others as required.
- Manage and order office supplies, stationery and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment, administrating risk assessments, H&S and fire safety procedures.
Information Technology
- Ensuring the maintenance of the IT system and handling minor in-house IT technical issues for staff and volunteers.
- Liaising with the Global Support Office IT Helpdesk team to ensure the timely set up of IT for new staff and volunteers – i.e. setting up email addresses, and relevant permissions.
- Ensuring that IT permissions are current, and that these are amended as and when staff and volunteers leave.
- Assisting with continuous improvements in Medair UK’s use of IT.
Engagement Support
- Supporting fundraising activities with data segmentation and the production of standard and custom reports in Salesforce
- Supporting the production and automation of email newsletter and appeals via Campaign Monitor
- Setting up new Salesforce campaigns with tailored reports and dashboards to track donations.
- Producing digital surveys and web-forms as required.
- Providing support to Medair’s virtual events, including the technical administration of Zoom and pre and post event attendee administration.
HR Administration
- Organising and co-ordinating staff and volunteer inductions ensuring that the induction checklist is completed.
- Supporting the Head of Operations with team training and organisational learning and development opportunities.
Qualifications - DESIRABLE

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Manage Individual Giving Campaigns:

In this multi-faceted role, you will ensure that women affected by Fowler’s Syndrome, clinicians, researchers, and the wider public are intimately connected to the charity’s work.You will enable smoother pathways for women seeking support and for healthcare professionals looking to access educational resource, while also leading on a range of communications activities and awareness campaigns.
You will take responsibility for coordinating and facilitating online patient groups, supporting in-person events, and helping to manage FSUK’s Patient Council. Tasked with overseeing the development of content such as patient resources, you will also advance wider engagement across projects and research programmes and ensure that communications, whether via newsletters, social channels, or the website, reflect the charity’s voice and values.
While having strategic oversight and leading on the management of FSUK’s digital platforms, including their WordPress website and database consisting of patients and supporters, you will also maintain the charity’s fundraising pages. Through managing FSUK’s social platforms, you will at times also interact with the charity’s online community, responding with empathy as you engage and signpost to appropriate services such as the FSUK helpline, ensuring people feel heard, informed, and supported.
Lastly, raising awareness of FSUK will be one strand of the communications output, however the primary focus is to enable stronger connections and deepen engagement and trust with their valued community.
Emotional intelligence and well defined interpersonal skills are essential, as well as having proficient organisational ability and the aptitude to multi-task when working independently within this small, yet fast-moving team.
A background in patient, community, or stakeholder engagement will also be a valuable asset, alongside exposure to working within the health, charity, or research sector. You will have demonstrable experience producing content, alongside a track record of managing digital and social platforms (particularly Instagram).

Wellbeing is an integral part of our lives both inside and outside work. We at the Methodist Church have always placed a great deal of importance on promoting good wellbeing and now we can take this a step further. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a wellbeing/HR individual with a special interest in wellbeing, to join the small wellbeing team within the Connexional team.
We are looking for someone who has a keen eye and interest in wellbeing. The main focus of this role will be to support first-hand the development of the wellbeing page on the Methodist Church website and the internal Intranet, ensuring that the content is updated and reflective of current trends. You will also contribute to the overall efficient and effective running of the team. This role is an important part of developing, promoting and advancing wellbeing within the Methodist church.
About You
You should have good wellbeing knowledge and experience, project management skills, a real flair for attention to detail and the ability to develop a range of information resources and guidance materials.
You should have the ability to demonstrate good generalist administrative skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills as with the ability to deal with difficult people and challenging situations.
Proficient user of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and website design and editing software.

Within this role you will help deliver an exciting portfolio of integrated, multi-channel and supporter-centric campaigns that involves all elements of the marketing mix as well as a range of diverse stewardship activities. Main Purpose of the Role
The Director is the strategic and operational lead of NRTF, responsible for the organisation’s vision, management, performance, and long-term sustainability. They ensure delivery against NRTF’s mission and business plan, champion rural touring at a national level, and act as the primary liaison with Arts Council England, stakeholders, and the wider sector. Working closely with a proactive Board of Trustees, the Director provides leadership on governance and compliance in line with UK Charity Law and NRTF’s Articles of Association, ensuring the organisation operates with transparency, accountability and good practice. The Director is a visible ambassador for rural touring, building strong relationships across the cultural sector, advocating for members, and promoting the role of rural touring in ensuring that creativity and culture thrive in every community.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
● Lead and implement NRTF’s Business Plan and strategic objectives.
● Oversee the delivery and evaluation of all funded programmes and initiatives.
● Develop and sustain relationships with our members, including the rural touring schemes, national and regional stakeholders, funders, and policy-makers.
