At Stewardship, our mission is to activate joyful generosity — enabling Christians to support the causes they love, exactly when they need to. Our givers manage most of their finances through apps, and we believe their generosity should be just as intuitive. Our iOS Giving app has already seen strong engagement, and we are currently in the process of re-platforming it into React Native to support a more scalable and maintainable future.

We’re looking for an experienced Lead React Native Developer to take over from this re-platforming work and carry it forward — refining and extending the app, while also setting the direction for how we build future mobile apps. You’ll be the first dedicated React Native developer on the team, so the role offers both the autonomy to shape our mobile stack and the opportunity to grow into a leadership position as we expand the team.

This influential post is offered as a fixed-term contract ending March 2028. It will initially involve improving programme oversight and integrating the Physical Activity Programme and the We Are Undefeatable Campaign teams to enhance collaboration and ways of working. The Physical Activity Programme, a partnership with Sport England and the National Lottery, is entering an exciting new phase, which will focus on the evolution of We Are Undefeatable, from Above-The-Line to an 'always on' campaign, expanding our system influencing work, both nationally and at 'place' level, and building a powerful evidence base for how we can support the least active to move more

The role will have overall responsibility for the implementation of the strategic aims of the programme and ensure effective governance, budget oversight, and delivery of the system influencing work and WAU campaign. As Programme Director, you will extensively collaborate at leadership level with existing and new partnerships and stakeholders, parliamentarians and systems leaders to drive impactful interventions.

We operate a hybrid-working model and will require the post holder to be in our central London office a minimum of two days each week. Travel costs to our London office are not covered by the charity.

Essential criteria:

• Proven experience in programme management, ideally within the health sector or physical activity, in a fast-paced organisation Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Role snapshot

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Young Citizens in one of two key Programme Coordinator roles, each helping to deliver our national education programmes.

• As Programme Coordinator – Event and Project Lead, you’ll oversee the planning and delivery of around 65 events each year, from mock trials and school workshops to teacher training and sector-facing events, ensuring every detail contributes to a high-quality experience for young people, educators, and volunteers. In addition to event delivery, the role also involves leading key projects that support programme development and growth.
• As Programme Coordinator – Schools Engagement Lead, you’ll be the main point of contact for over 480 secondary schools, managing registrations, communications, and support to ensure smooth, engaging participation across our programmes.

Both roles are vital to our mission of empowering young people through active citizenship. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping a well-established charity as we deliver on our 3-year strategy, with opportunities to facilitate workshops and mock trials, coordinate programme delivery, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team where clear processes, adaptability, and a passion for social impact are key to success.

As part of a small, innovative fundraising team, you’ll have the freedom to shape strategy, create compelling campaigns, and drive growth. Your marketing skills will help attract and inspire donors, while your data insight will ensure effective supporter journeys.

From first gift to regular giving and legacy support, you’ll play a key role in building long-term commitment to Julian House.

Responsibilities include: 

• Working with the Senior Fundraising Manager to develop an individual giving strategy that increases donor acquisition, engagement, and income.
• Serving as the CRM Administrator, overseeing its effective use and development for the Fundraising Team
• Project managing our bi-annual individual giving appeals, working with colleagues to design inspiring campaigns that generate six-figure income.
• Promoting our legacy case for support, and securing new pledges, as part of supporters’ journeys with Julian House.

Qualifications / Requirements: 

• Experience of leading fundraising activity relating to individual giving, regular giving and / or legacies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent your organisation to a range of stakeholders and create high-quality written content for fundraising.
• Knowledge of the homelessness or social inclusion sectors would be desirable, but not essential.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Partnerships Lead to advance the development and management of strategic relationships with companies and corporate foundations. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow the impact of Learning through Landscapes by securing income and added value from corporate partners who share our vision for outdoor learning and play.

The role is hybrid and can be based in either our Hampshire or Stirling offices or remote. It will be varied and involve: identifying and approaching prospective partners; developing and presenting compelling proposals; managing long-term corporate relationships; reporting on impact; and supporting volunteering and pro-bono engagement. You’ll also contribute to shaping our Corporate Partnerships Strategy and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to maximise partnership value.

You will need:

• Experience of developing corporate partnerships, ideally in the charity, education, or environmental sectors
• Proven ability to develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to corporate audiences
• Strong relationship-building skills, with a track record of developing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing partnership proposals and impact reports
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how corporate social responsibility aligns with business objectives
