About the Role
As Education Officer, you will coordinate and deliver the Education Programme across schools, colleges, and youth settings in the North West. The programme aims to prevent youth homelessness through engaging workshops, assemblies, and group sessions that explore topics such as healthy relationships, conflict management and homelessness awareness.
Working closely with the National Education Programme Manager, you will also support the development of new resources and manage relationships with partner institutions. You will be responsible for marketing the programme, delivering high-impact sessions, and generating income through partnerships with educational settings.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of education workshops and assemblies to young people aged 11–18

1. The Role
The Head of Audiences is a new leadership role in the Commercial Operations team designed to ensure that audience insight and segmentation are at the heart of everything we do. This role will lead on understanding who our current and prospective audiences are, how they engage with us and what they need now and in the future. You will use this insight to guide programming, marketing, visitor experience at Winchester Science Centre but as we evolve our Charity’s reach and engagement you will play an important role in ensuring we fulfil our ambitious plans and reaching a diverse community. Key Responsibilities
· Lead the organisation’s audience strategy, embedding a data-led approach that informs programme development, marketing and wider organisational planning and offer.
· Lead the audiences' team to deliver high impact campaigns that delivers on organisational objectives and visitation targets, that contributes to the continued brand development of Wonderseekers and Winchester Science Centre.
· Use your expertise in audience segmentation to design, shape and oversee the delivery of multi-channel marketing strategies that maximises return on investment and successfully drives visitation and audience engagement targets.
· Gather, analyse and communicate audience insight using internal data, commissioned research and external benchmarking to build a shared understanding of current and potential audiences.

Special Circumstances

Summary and key purpose
This new role will be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing our individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines. You will be a key member of our fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory. You will ensure that our donors receive excellent care.
Our Individual Giving programme will incorporate one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. You will do this, with the support of our recently appointed fundraising agency, who you will manage our relationship with week by week.
A critical element of the role will be how we market ourselves to potential new donors, taking them on an emotional engagement journey in order to solicit regular gifts.
Your expertise and skills:
To excel in this role, you will need prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, with an understanding of good stewardship practices. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across teams and meeting multiple deadlines. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders and gather information on new projects. You must have a thorough understanding of individual giving, developing donor journeys and experience of work with agencies.

What will I be doing?
Working with the Product Manager to account manage and develop various high-value relationships with 3rd party event partners across the portfolio ensuring that we hit our income goals by achieving participation targets
Pitching externally for new or renewal business, including completing applications and/or meeting event organisers in person
Building networks with event organisers and key partners within the Sports sector
Building knowledge, relationships and stewarding key internal relationships to maximise the value we get out of our partnerships
Responsible for creating and managing Sports Team web pages and social media pages and producing innovative and bespoke content that is user friendly across all devices and that drives engagement and participation
Attending on-the-day of events to steward key participants and event partners
Working with our Event Delivery on key events to plan on-the-day activity and activations
Taking responsibility for ensuring targets (participation and financial) are fulfilled for your accounts, working with event organisers to improve performance as needed
Supporting in the delivery of the whole Events Portfolio when required.
What skills are we looking for?
Significant experience managing relationships with external stakeholders
Relevant experience in negotiating contract terms and finalising legal agreements
Relevant external account management experience
Proactive approach and able to think creatively to exceed targets
Understanding and ability to meet financial targets
Ability to show strategic thinking
Knowledge of digital products used in sports & events and how to integrate them across CRUK platforms
A working knowledge of IT systems including purchase order systems, databases, Microsoft office
Willing to work some unsociable hours, travelling extensively and staying away from home during the event delivery season when necessary. Time off in-lieu will be offered where applicable.

About the Role

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver the community fundraising strategy in the South Lancashire region. You will report into the Senior Regional Fundraiser and focus on building strong relationships with existing supporters, as well as recruiting new support to maximise fundraising activities and income.

- Develop and implement a local fundraising plan to maximise income generation across the designated geographic area.

The Person
We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in a Community Fundraising role with previous knowledge of working to targets. However, NWAA are flexible and will consider applicants with the relevant transferable skills.
Most importantly you should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to build long lasting relationships, and have the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences. In addition experience in developing and delivering plans, managing budgets and financial forecasting would be advantageous as well as working with databases.
