About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join the Individual Giving Team to work across our Stewardship Programme. The role of Marketing Executive will see you working across all aspects of a campaign to help drive lifesaving income for the RNLI and treat our donors really well.

About you

Role Overview and Main Responsibilities
One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. The postholder will also work alongside the CEO to develop and implement a new marketing strategy to enable ANCC to achieve its vision and mission globally. This will include shaping the Marketing and Communications team to support the stakeholder journey for students, partners and donors.
- Enhancing the digital systems of the college for the purposes of marketing
- Work collaboratively with the CEO and Marketing & Communications team to ensure new marketing assets are designed and produced for optimal results
· Generating leads for new applicants, students, partners and donations to the college, optimising our efficiency, and maximising opportunities for engagement.
- Manage the website development project which includes the improvement of the college website for marketing purposes, and improving the User Experience (UXP) ensuring that it is optimised for search engines
- Manage team members for the maintenance and development of the college’s website, SEO, user journey experience, and website assets
- Support and collaborate with the Social Media officer to ensure digital marketing across our platforms, including LinkedIn for digital community engagement.
- Monitor and review performance of digital marketing channels for analytical reporting and making recommendations for improvement.
- Email marketing across stakeholder groups to support recruitment and engagement for the college. This includes the management of Mailchimp and ensuring Donorfy data is up to date.
- Direct marketing to students and partners for college courses, training options, collaborative design, delivery and lifelong learning. This may include digital marketing via website, social media, email, content marketing, print marketing and campaigns.
- Developing a digital marketing campaigns calendar and system for use within the team including the implementation of campaign briefs and tracking of campaigns across ANCC products
- Play an active role within the team to help at promotional events, including national exhibitions and conferences, at the college and elsewhere
- Assist the team with organising college open days and other promotional events (graduations, multicultural evenings, carols at Easneye etc).
- Work creatively with the team to continue to develop strong relationships with ANCC alumni through digital communications, and maximising opportunities for engagement

The Role
This role will play a crucial part in supporting a wide range of fundraising, marketing, and communications activities for Cosmic. As a key member of the Income Generation team, the individual will help raise vital funds and awareness that enable and enhance the charity’s work, whilst also contributing to the delivery of effective marketing and communications that promote our impact and engage our audiences.
This role requires someone with a genuine interest in working across multiple fundraising areas — from corporate partnerships and community fundraising to individual giving, events and challenges, trusts and foundations, event support for Cosmic led events, and in-memory and legacy giving. You will bring strong organisational, communication, and creative skills to support activity across these streams. In addition, you will collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop engaging social media content, enhance brand visibility, and contribute to impactful digital and supporter communications across all of Cosmic’s channels.
This varied and dynamic role will include research, administration, planning, content creation, and creative thinking. You will support the delivery of fundraising activities, events, initiatives, and campaigns, as well as contribute to marketing efforts such as social media, email newsletters, website updates, and storytelling. A key part of the role will be ensuring our supporters, donors, and online audiences receive high-quality, consistent, and engaging communications. With the wider team’s support, the role will also aid the growth of new corporate partnerships.
The role requires someone who is confident, organised, and articulate, with ideas, energy, and enthusiasm to promote the work, need, relevance, and impact of the charity. Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising and income generation support
- Working alongside and supporting members of the Income Generation team, gaining a better understanding of the various fundraising and income generation activities.
- Be a key contact for fundraising enquiries.
- Collation and sending of information, including fundraising materials, to potential and current supporters and advising on queries relating to fundraising.
- Support the organisation, planning, promotion, and delivery of fundraising, stewardship and other events.
- Ensure that all fundraising activity operates with the Fundraising Regulator’s guidelines, code of practice and GDPR practices.
- Identify and support opportunities to raise awareness of the charity including giving presentations, attending meetings and local events.
- Aid the growth of individual giving programmes, including regular giving, one-off donations, and donor stewardship journeys.
- Assist in researching, writing, and submitting grant applications to trusts, foundations, and statutory funders.
- Maintain accurate donor records using the charity’s CRM system, Donorfy, and ensure data is up to date, accurate, compliant, relevant and reportable.
- Support the planning and delivery of fundraising campaigns, appeals, and community events.
- Assist with event set-up and pack-down, ensuring all materials and equipment are in place.
- Provide excellent donor care and stewardship, including timely thank-you communications and proactive engagement with supporters.
- Help identify new fundraising opportunities and potential partners through research and networking.
- Meet with supporters in person and provide a first-class experience for them by providing tours of the units and any tailored information they require.
- Support the administration and logistics for fundraising events, including volunteer coordination and post-event evaluation.
2. Marketing and communications responsibilities
- Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, the website, and campaign materials to raise awareness of the charity’s work.
- Social media content capture and uploading of activities at all Cosmic led events onto all relevant channels.
- Coordinate social media channels, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Support marketing campaigns for fundraising events, appeals, and awareness initiatives.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure brand consistency across all supporter-facing materials.
- Gather stories, quotes and visuals from beneficiaries, supporters, and partner organisations (with appropriate permissions) to promote activities and support to Cosmic.
- Update and maintain website content, ensuring information is accurate, compelling, and user-friendly.
- Assist in producing digital assets, such as graphics, short videos, and email campaigns.
- Conduct basic analytics reporting for digital platforms, tracking engagement, reach, and campaign impact.
- Help coordinate Public Relations activities, including drafting press releases and maintaining media contact lists, in liaison with the Marketing and Communications Manager.
3. Cross-team and administrative responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior Fundraising Executive, and wider Income Generation team to ensure smooth coordination between fundraising and marketing activities.
- Liaise with clinical partners, hospital staff, and external stakeholders to gather information that supports fundraising and communications content.
- Support the implementation of internal processes for campaign planning, supporter stewardship, and content production.
- Attend events, meetings, and training sessions as needed to represent the charity.
- Provide general administrative support to the fundraising and marketing functions including processing donations, handling enquiries, and maintaining shared resources.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to help refine and develop the charity’s fundraising and marketing approach.
- Audit the inventory of all materials necessary for both events and volunteering.
- Sending thank you letters to supporters in a timely manner.
- Spending time meeting with families and staff on the units, using this time as an opportunity to build positive relationships. Supporting the Service Delivery team with massage days for the clinical staff and other key events such as World Prematurity Day and other ad hoc and seasonal activities.

Key Responsibilities
External Communications
- Collaborate with the team to develop a communications plan to support Cosmic’s calendar of events, income generation and volunteering, taking ownership of its implementation.
- Manage supporter communications through platforms like Mailchimp, including scheduling updates and mail merges.
- Produce and manage the production and distribution of the charity’s supporter newsletter, corporate newsletter, and other direct marketing materials.
- Develop a GDPR compliant method to gather data from families who benefit from Cosmic Service Delivery, to support conversion to fundraising via a Cosmic communication plan and supporter journey
- Create and execute engaging campaigns for Cosmic, based on our service delivery, to generate income.
- Liaise with celebrity partners to coordinate media campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a bank of photographs and ensure media consent forms are obtained and recorded appropriately.
- Assist fundraising teams in sourcing free advertising opportunities for events, such as community group emails and online platforms.

Internal Communications
- Work closely with supporters, NHS staff, and the NHS Imperial Trust to gather compelling patient, family, unit, and staff stories for promotional purposes.

- Keep charity notice boards updated with promotional material.
- Contribute to the quarterly Trustee report.
- Ensure that all communication is clearly logged on the Cosmic CRM solution, Donorfy.
Digital
- Manage Cosmic’s social media channels, developing and implementing a consistent and engaging social media plan to promote the charity’s work, events, and fundraising initiatives effectively.
- Digital transformation of the Cosmic website and other digital channels with a consistent and clear brand, ensuring optimal user experience.
- Create engaging and consistent digital designs for all marketing materials on Canva.
Branding and Merchandising
- Design and create a new range of fundraising merchandise and marketing materials to promote the Cosmic brand.
- Support the fundraising team by developing high-quality materials for proposals, events, and activities, and assist in promoting these initiatives.
- Develop and formalise a clear Cosmic Tone of Voice and charity branding, establishing guidelines for how Cosmic presents itself both internally and externally to ensure consistency and alignment with its mission and values.
- Build a Cosmic library of “curated content” with aligned descriptions of who we are and what we do, tailored for different audiences.
- Ensure all internal templates (letterheads, email signatures etc) use the correct colour palette, format and logo.
Administration
- Build a process to balance and prioritise the requirements and request for digital, marketing and communication support from the Cosmic Team
- Respond effectively to incoming telephone calls and emails, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally.
- Maintain and update the charity’s database of contacts and supporters, taking the lead in implementing changes to improve data recording and analysis.
- Provide support to charity volunteers during activities.
- Develop engaging and relevant supporter journeys using Cosmic audience personas.
- Regular development and gathering of Cosmic case study materials.
- Evaluate the success of campaigns, setting and tracking key metrics, feeding learnings back into future work in a cycle of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and deliver regular, meaningful reporting on communications, to assist and drive strategic communications and marketing decision making.

The Director of Communications and Marketing will combine strategic leadership with a readiness to get hands-on where needed, building sustainable systems, processes, and team capacity that set Back Up to achieve long-term success.

Job Overview
The Mass Market team’s mission is to inspire the UK public to financially support the IRC in order to help people impacted by conflict and disaster. The main purpose of this role is to deliver engaging campaigns across our cause-led and prize-led products to generate long-term sustainable growth maximise income from existing supporters and develop a supporter-centric fundraising model.

The Purpose of the Role
IRC’s External Relations (ER) department brings together Fundraising, Communications and Policy & Advocacy functions. With the aim to raise money, awareness and influence for crisis-affected populations worldwide, the department combines knowledge and expertise across multiple national markets.
The IRC fundraising teams are comprised of colleagues and teams working in the USA, UK, Germany, Sweden and Korea as well as emerging markets delivering direct marketing, content, account management, philanthropy, board liaison, corporate as well as trust and foundation partnerships to support IRC’s national fundraising strategies.
The IRC’s private fundraising capability in the UK has grown significantly over the past five years. Ambitious growth plans are in place to deliver increasing income from the private sector as part of an exciting global External Relations strategy.
The Director of UK Mass Markets is responsible for the leadership and direction of the Mass Markets team in the UK and for securing long-term sustainable income for the IRC through individual donor acquisition, retention and supporter care. You will lead and develop a high-performing team by growing mass marketing audiences and income, developing exciting and targeted campaigns, identifying opportunities for product, channel and audience diversification, and championing UX and a supporter centric fundraising model. · Extensive experience of individual giving (or mass marketing) and digital fundraising and ideally, mid value and legacy giving, within a large or medium global charity, including a proven track record of both acquisition and retention.**

This role provides the main Finance point of contact across relevant teams and senior stakeholders and is expected to support various teams, including the Marketing Team that generates a significant portion of UNICEF UK’s income, and the Information and People Teams, amongst others.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will work directly with budget holders in your dedicated teams, supporting financial planning and performance reporting with analysis, insight and constructive challenge to support decision making and strategic financial planning, driving positive outcomes for UNICEF UK.
The ideal candidate would be someone that’s analytical and highly numerate, able to identify key performance and financial drivers and convey complex information with clarity. Experience in finance business partnering is key with experience specifically in digital marketing being desirable. About the role
This is a pivotal role for an experienced Communications and PR professional to significantly enhance the visibility and understanding of the Motability Foundation's vital work. You will be instrumental in devising and leading our proactive and reactive media work, shaping our narrative, engaging key stakeholders, increasing understanding and ultimately driving greater impact for disabled people across the UK.

You will manage and lead a programme of work to navigate complex policy landscapes, champion the stories of our beneficiaries, and work to demystify disability and mobility issues for a broad audience.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can not only execute but also advise senior leadership and Trustees on communication best practices and opportunities. The role holder is responsible for continuously developing and leading on all media and PR activities. With a strong news sense, you will help develop and execute forward-thinking PR plans and strategies for the organisation, manage our external profile and raise awareness of the work we do, aligned to our vision, and manage our press office, including building strong relationships with journalists.

What you will be doing
- Develop and deliver integrated communications and PR strategies that elevate the Foundation's profile and impact.
- Lead proactive media relations, cultivating strong relationships with journalists across national, regional, and specialist media to secure impactful coverage.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all communications matters, providing expert counsel and crisis communications support.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content across all channels, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice.
- Alongside colleagues in the digital team, drive digital engagement strategies, leveraging social media and digital platforms to complement press work to reach, engage and amplify diverse audiences.

- Scan effectively for breaking news stories relevant to our areas of work, as well as horizon scanning for potential areas of future coverage.
- Working with colleagues in Public Affairs, Policy, Insight and Evaluation and our Transport Solutions Team, take a lead on proactive media activity around our policy, campaigns and research activity.
- Scan for areas of reputational risk and support the Head of Media and PR with preparing for and handling reputational risk.
- Lead on crisis, media enquiries and messaging, implementing the necessary checks and actions to protect the Foundation’s reputation and brand.
- Develop and deliver a briefing and training programme for key spokespeople, developing key messaging and Q&As.
- Manage the press and PR budget.
- Manage the continuous development of our PR & Media Executive using a mixture of external, internal and on the job training.
What will make you great in this role?
You will have a strong track record of securing high profile media coverage, ideally for a national charity dealing in disability, health or social issues. You will have a great news sense and the ability to develop strong relationships with journalists to confidently identify stories and make them work for different media outlets. You will have a flair for writing engaging copy, an eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to meeting deadlines. You can work at pace where needed and identify priorities and manage multiple projects. You will be used to briefing and supporting spokespeople to do media interviews and speaking opportunities.
You will be proactive and a strong team player as this role will need to work closely with colleagues across the communications team and wider organisation. You will be able to take the lead in some areas and lend a hand in others.
