Job description

About you
You’ll be excited to work in a dynamic team of people passionate about the benefits of social media to share, influence and engage audiences. You’ll recognise the huge potential to be unlocked across Youth Music’s digital platforms and have strategic ideas about how to achieve this in partnership with young people.

You’ll have an instinct for great content, be a music lover who’s up-to-date on the latest trends in youth culture and technologies, and you’ll be passionate about nurturing and releasing the creative potential of the next generation

About the role

Working alongside the Communications Manager as part of Youth Music’s communications team, you will be leading on the development of our online campaigns and working closely with our Digital Content Editor to distribute content produced by Youth Music and young freelancers. You will be using a variety of communications channels to engage existing audiences and build new audiences. You will also help to evaluate the impact of our communications work.

You will work within the CORE (Communications, Operations, Research & Evaluation) of Youth Music, playing an instrumental role in shaping how we utilise our social media, ensuring that it is inclusive, accessible, high quality and relevant. You will be integral in driving our cross team working culture, supporting teams across the organisation in the delivery of communications.
