At Ambitious about Autism, we are looking for a Programme Director – Service Development to join our team. You'll develop Ambitious about Autism's and the Trust's education and care services for autistic children and young people.
You'll lead on key strategic projects to extend existing or develop new education and care services for autistic children and young people, providing strong project leadership, strategic integration and managing project-related governance. You'll identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion of our educational settings, including school bids.
You'll be involved in new service development, conducting thorough assessment to identify gaps and opportunities for new provisions or products, whilst developing innovative concepts for new services and seeking approval through business cases. You'll also provide leadership to the Service Development team, with line management of 3 direct reports, whilst upholding Ambitious about Autism's core values.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Extensive business development and project planning knowledge
- Working knowledge of the education, health or social care of children/young people with SEND
- Working knowledge of: The social, policy, regulatory issues affecting children and young people with special educational needs or Commissioning and service delivery for children, young people and their families
- Proven experience of leading the development and delivery of new services for children, young people and/or adults with special educational needs or disabilities either from a third sector, educational, health or local authority background
- Experience of developing strategic and business plans

About the Role
In this exciting and varied role, you will play a key part in delivering the College’s education and events strategy. About the team
The Investment Team is responsible for selecting portfolio partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our portfolio partners to improve and scale their impact.
The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.
The team is made up of 19 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.
The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. The Portfolio Director has 5 direct reports: a Deputy Portfolio Director, three Sector Leads (who lead our work in School engagement, School attainment and Employment Sectors) and an Impact Lead. Sector Leads line manage 6 Investment Directors. Investment Directors line manage Investment Managers (currently 6). Investment Directors and Investment Managers tend to primarily focus on a sector but might have mixed portfolios, depending on need, experience and interest.
The Investment Team has a good track record of role progression. All four Leads and a number of our Investment Directors were promoted from within the team.

The Grants Manager is responsible for managing the accurate and efficient transfer of funds raised by UNICEF UK to the appropriate UNICEF international programmes. This newly created role of Marketing & Content Lead reflects a strategic investment in building the public voice, identity and reach of CsP. We are seeking a creative and strategically minded marketing professional who will establish and grow CsP’s digital platforms from the ground up, developing a distinctive brand voice and presence that is rooted in Sheffield Cathedral while clearly expressing the unique identity of the Community of St Paulinus.
The postholder will shape CsP’s emerging communications strategy, build audiences, develop campaigns, and contribute to wider marketing thinking within the Project Resource Team.
The Marketing & Content Lead will sit within the Project Resource Team (PRT), alongside the Project Manager, Administration Assistant, and Fundraising Officer. The postholder will be line managed by the Project Manager and will be a key part of the agile Project Resource Team, which serves the CsP. The Urban Partnership Group (UPG) is a community and regeneration organization situated in West London offering a wide range of activities at its bases at the Masbro Centre, Edward Woods Community Centre, Masbro Brook Green, and Flora Gardens Family Centre projects managed include those for older people, youth, children center services, volunteering and community champions. Through these projects UPG hopes to enhance the health, wealth and well-being of the centers’ users.

To be responsible for the day-to-day provision of an efficient, welcoming and professional reception and administrative/business support service to the Masbro Community Centre.
The applicant will be the first person a visitor, client or customer meets or speaks to face to face or on the phone. The applicant will need to have a good rapport with people and make them feel welcome and at ease. UPG deliver a range different activities a week with a footfall of over 500 people a week.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the receptionist and administrator, ensuring all users and visitors are dealt with promptly, professionally and courteously.
- Provide a warm, supportive and nurturing front-of-house presence, building positive relationships with service users, tenants, volunteers and partners.

Location: Hybrid working - Part London office-based (E14) and part home working. The post holder will work a minimum of one day a week in the office.
Salary: £31,800 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week

Who we are looking for
Breakthrough T1D is the UK’s leading type 1 diabetes charity, dedicated to funding research, advocating for change, and supporting the T1D community. A year into our exciting rebrand from JDRF to Breakthrough T1D, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Events Fundraiser to help us build on this momentum.
You will take responsibility for the success of the Breakthrough T1D owned events, One Walk and Virtual Challenges as well as assisting on other key mass participation events. You will also build and maintain relationships with supporters and boost donations as well as working with the Senior Active Events Manager to build a successful portfolio of sporting events.
With a passion for events fundraising and relationship building, you may have worked for charities before in similar roles. You will have the ability to manage multiple projects, be skilled at developing and maintaining internal and external working relationships at all levels with an outgoing, confident, friendly, positive and professional personality.
Experience required
