About the role:
This role is responsible for developing and expanding the membership offerings of LFBF, including chartered and corporate memberships, while also overseeing bursaries, scholarships, and awards. Key Responsibilities:

You will have:

Context
The Fundraising Department exists to grow and deepen productive relationships with our amazing supporters. We are driven to raise the money and partnerships needed to deliver CAP’s vision to see transformed lives, thriving churches and an end to UK poverty. The Supporter Development team is made up of the Fundraising and Engagement Leads and Officer, and is led by the Supporter Development Manager. The team works alongside our Supporter Care and Connection teams, and Communications Department to deliver a fantastic and rewarding supporter experience. The team’s scope includes regular giving income, appeals, legacies, fundraising events, festivals, sponsored events, supporter campaigning and supporter experience. We have incredible and committed supporters including over 28,000 Life Changers, who give to us on a monthly basis.
Purpose
The Fundraising & Engagement Leads plan and deliver a portfolio of programmes and projects aimed at growing income and deepening relationships with our supporters. The Fundraising and Engagement Leads has strategic ownership for key areas of fundraising. They work with the Supporter Development Manager to set strategic direction for that area, creating annual plans that will deliver our objectives and key results, and monitoring and evaluating results. They work cross organisationally, creating strategies and projects that align with CAPs vision and integrated messaging. They manage projects from briefing and ideation, creation and delivery, to monitoring and evaluation, maintaining productive and professional cross-organisational working relationships. They contribute to the team’s annual planning cycle and engage critically and collaboratively with each other to strengthen and align every area of our work.
Although there is flexibility within the work plan of the team, this role will be focused on giving excellent supporter care to our 28,000 regular givers, and finding creative ways to inspire and engage new supporters to do so.

We are seeking a pro-active, experienced and hands-on individual to join the charity at this critical and exciting stage of growth and development, and to deliver the day-to-day management of individual giving campaigns in the fundraising team.

The Role

The Role
Building relationships with the fire and rescue services in your area, you’ll become an integral part of the local fire services community. You’ll join a nation-wide team of inspiring and innovative fundraisers, working collaboratively to secure the much-needed income for the Charity.

About the role:
We are pleased to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our advice team at Citizens Advice Richmond as a Manage Your Money Lead.
In this role you will be working alongside volunteer advisers, providing holistic advice and support to households in financial crisis and provide advice around income maximisation, managing fuel costs including leading on our Energy Advice Project, benefit take-up, applying for grants to help with costs arising from the cost-of-living crisis, reducing indebtedness and budgeting and money management to help to prevent future financial crisis.
The purpose of this role is to reduce the stigma for low-income households around needing and accessing financial support and give people confidence to seek cheaper alternatives to contract costs around, for example, telephone, tv and broadband.
The project includes support on preparing personal income and expenditure details which can be used by residents themselves when negotiating with debtors on repayment plans.
This work will have a focus on community-based outreach work, working alongside organisations such as foodbanks and community centres. It will aim to prevent future or recurring hardship.
This role is funded by City Bridge Foundation.

About the role
We’re working to build and grow a powerful movement of people to transform the experience of people living with Parkinson’s. A big part of how we will do that is by engaging and mobilising our existing supporters through a wide variety of channels to take additional actions in support of Parkinson’s UK
You’ll be instrumental in devising and delivering the strategic plans to achieve our ambitions for supporter engagement, as well as leading the teams responsible for delivering email and supporter journeys across the organisation.

The role
We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Mental Health Trainer to deliver short courses to groups of people in our community to improve their mental wellbeing. You will also deliver mental health awareness workshops to corporates and other organisations in and around the Tunbridge Wells area, and help to facilitate internal workshops with staff and volunteers. The main duties and responsibilities are:
1. Course Development:
- Design and develop short courses for specific groups of people in our community, with information and tools to enable people to manage their mental wellbeing, ensuring content is evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and relevant to diverse audiences.
- Develop workshops for corporates and other organisations on mental health and steps they can take to promote mental wellbeing in their workplace or organisation.
2. Course Delivery:
- Facilitate engaging and interactive short courses and workshops on mental health, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide practical tools and strategies for managing mental health and promoting mental wellbeing.
3. Participant Engagement:
- Foster a participatory and non-judgmental atmosphere that encourages open discussion and sharing among participants.
- Respond to participant questions and concerns with empathy and expertise.
5. Promotion:
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and disseminate marketing and promotional materials and activities for the short courses.
- Attend events and meetings, and deliver talks, to promote the courses, training and the work of the wider charity.
6. Evaluation and Feedback:
- Collect and analyse feedback from participants to continually improve course content and delivery, and share feedback with colleagues.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the courses and workshops and make adjustments as needed.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
You will have experience of supporting people with complex mental health issues, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong networking and presentation skills and a passion for raising awareness about mental wellbeing. As a Mental Health Trainer, you will play a crucial role in representing the charity and enhancing the mental wellbeing of our community through the delivery of engaging and informative short courses and workshops.
You will be a great team player, and someone who is friendly, collaborative and who wants to contribute to a positive charity culture.
The role is office-based, with days and hours to suit where possible, and scope for flexibility and some working from home.

We have an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for a Senior Legal Advisor to join our Legal Services Team. A small, dedicated team of Lawyers central to the work of a national charity across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They work closely with the Teams and Directorates across the organisation to ensure that they operate safely and securely, and providing advice on complex issues.
The charity offers flexibility about where the role is undertaken. For this role, a presence in Peterborough is preferable where possible, but the individual would be required to attend team meetings in the Peterborough office once a month. Occasionally, it will be necessary to travel nationwide.
The Senior Legal Advisor will provide high quality commercial contract drafting; advice and assistance to support the Personal Support (PS) Service Teams with the tendering and contracting process; working with different Commissioning Authorities of Social Care Services; and with the provision of suitable housing agreements
The Senior Legal Advisor will be required to review the tenders and contract terms in relation to the majority of PS contracts , some of which are multi million pound framework agreements, and put in place Direct Funding Contracts. In relation to Housing arrangements, the candidate will review and advise on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Housing Management Agreements (HMAs) with Housing Associations and other Housing Providers.
Qualifications required:
For this role you would need to be a Solicitor or Barrister qualified to practise in England (or comparable jurisdiction) preferably holding a practising certificate. Previous in-house experience would be viewed positively.
Essential key skills, experience & abilities required for this role:
· 5+ years PQE and experience in commercial contract law,
· Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
· Solid awareness of GDPR provisions
· Experience and good technical expertise with Commissioner contracts and in a similar role would be beneficial
· Experience and good technical expertise with social housing provider agreements (SLAs and HMAs) would be beneficial
· Analytical thinker and problem-solving skills.
· Confident and effective communicator across all levels and understand how to share insights with stakeholders.
· Excellent time management and communication skills and strong collaborator
· Dynamic self-starter with a sound ability to manage your own
· Commercially pragmatic, able to succinctly evaluate complex issues and deliver clear, focused advice
