The position of CEO is an exciting and challenging role that is primarily external facing in order to promote and further develop the essential support we provide to families in need throughout Camden and Islington.

A key aspect is to continue growing our network of stakeholders, partners, corporate sponsors, commissioners and donors. The CEO will also be expected to lead the drive to secure new income streams, and maintain existing relationships with key funders and stakeholders.

The CEO works with the Board of Trustees to drive the future strategy, ensure fulfilment of the implementation plan and direct a staff team comprising a Head of Delivery, 3 Family Liaison Managers, An Operations Manager, a Community Projects Manager, a Bookkeeper, and a Fundraising Consultant.

Core Responsibilities

· Support the team in identifying funders and income generation opportunities

· Build networks with new and existing funders to engage their support

· Represent and participate at external events and meetings to promote HSC&I

· Actively contribute to expanding the role and influence of Home-Start London consortium in the wider London area

· Be accountable for the management of resources to enable us to actively support a minimum of 90 to 120 families at any one time

· Provide leadership and oversight to colleagues and volunteers to ensure the correct outcomes for families through training, governance and quality assurance

· Performance and line management of Head of Delivery, Funding and Projects Manager and Bookkeeper

· Annual budget setting in conjunction with the Treasurer, and ongoing monitoring and reporting of financial position

· Provide management reports to the Trustee Board on progress against key performance measures

· Ensure that we remain compliant with all legislative and policy changes that impact the charity and our processes

· Understand the impact of legislative, changing political, economic and social climate on our work, and share this knowledge within the team to ensure compliance

Personal Specification / Attributes

The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Manager/Chief Executive with a demonstrable track record of successfully running an organisation or team leadership. You will possess strong strategic management, governance and people skills in addition to being solution focussed. Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential as is the ability to generate income from a range of sources.

Essential knowledge and skills

· Three years experience as a Senior Manager / Chief Executive

· Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, working to tight deadlines

· Demonstrable success in raising significant income from a variety of external sources

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

· Accomplished at providing motivational and influential leadership

· Proven track record of successfully delivering change

· Good understanding of financial accounting and budgeting in the charity sector

Purpose of this role  

The Business Support Administrator will provide high quality support to the Board of Trustees and its sub-Committees, and the Chief Operating Officer. This role will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the Director General. 

Responsibilities and Expectations  

• Provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Chief Operating Officer, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. 

• Coordinate the preparation and timely circulation of agendas, papers, minutes and action logs for Board and Committee meetings. 

• Monitor and report on progress against Board and Committee actions, ensuring timely follow-up and delivery

The Role

The key purpose of this role is to work as a “right hand” to the Associate Vicar, as an Executive Assistant and lead of key projects. Listed below are the key elements that the role holder will be doing:

Email, Diary Management & General Administration

• Drafting high volume of emails, correspondence, enquiries, managing the email inbox and ensuring that replies and responses are timely and appropriate
• Oversee diary of AV and manage key dates and appointments in church cycle, book and set-up appointments, coordinate meetings, set-up Zoom links, include briefing notes for AV and coordinate all relevant information for meetings
• Handle administrative duties on behalf of the AV including supporting with rotas for clergy, key comms (internal and external), congregational comms, review information as first point of contact and assist AV with supporting duties
• Assist the AV with processing of expenses and approve expenses with AV’s authorisation and oversee the reconciliation of the AV’s credit card on a monthly basis
• Research and support as needed related to preaching assignments and other projects related to other ministry areas
• Assist AV with key comms with donors, key stakeholders including PCC, church wardens and HTB Group Entity Heads
• Represent AV at a senior level with internal and external parties and assisting with sensitive pastoral matters

Sunday Services

• Support AV in the running and oversight of 10 services across 6 sites at HTB and specifically with the 9.30am and 11.30am services at HTB Brompton Road
• Organise information and map out strategy and plan for special services, key points in the church calendar (Christmas, Easter, Vision series, Leadership Conference, Focus)
• Liaising with external speakers, processing honorariums, handling comms and coordination logistics for all outside speaker invitations and serving as the point of contact for guests – including sourcing books and resources, organising transportation, liaising with speaker team and coordinating with Director of Comms on any major requests

Budget, Strategy & Governance

• Assist AV with budget and strategy and annual salary review process for all HTB staff and also help with HR and recruitment issues where necessary
• Assist AV with strategy documents for HTB and the annual strategy process to ensure all HTB ministry departments aligned with overall goals and objectives for HTB set by the vicar
• Ensure accountability and clear communications with HTB Department Heads for all ministry areas and drafting of internal comms for internal HTB staff team

PCC & wider Church of England

• Assist with drafting PCC reports and documents for HTB where needed working closely with the Group COO’s office
• Support AV with communications with Chelsea Area Deanery, Kensington Area Council and all wider Church of England matters and requests (Diocese of London, Archdeacons, Legal Agreements, etc)
• Help HTB to ensure it is compliant with all C of E requirements and maintains good working relationships with the Diocese of London
• Support AV to ensure that all safeguarding matters/requirements fulfilled and clear communication with Safeguarding Officer
• Assist AV with managing matters relating to HTB’s accessibility matters (i.e. disability and special needs), sustainability policy and approaches, recruitment and staff policies, etc.

Project Management

• Support AV with any special projects or assignments as needed – i.e. School of Preaching Course, special Alpha projects, Electoral Roll, crisis management, projects for the PCC, key events, donor comms, fundraising and stewardship, racial diversity working group matters, research assignments, etc.

The Right Candidate

• This role requires strong skills in administration, attention to detail, writing and drafting and excellent organisational skills.
• Experience supporting a senior leader or C-Level executive in a supporting capacity in a fast-paced and fast-moving organisation.
• A strong Christian faith and an active member of HTB, worshipping regularly at one of HTB's services or church plants.

Overview

We will be launching our new programme from September 2025, initially as a pilot working with families across Wandsworth, with aims to be able to expand and continue beyond this.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Family Support Manager to play a pivotal role in establishing our new Family Support programme. Summary

• Support the SIAM in the planning and delivery of the NCIs' annual risk-based IA Plan, including assisting with the Annual Audit Needs Analysis and producing the Audit Universe.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of all individual IA assignments, from the initial planning stage through to the completion of the final report. Ensure all findings are effectively communicated with management as part of the IA delivery process.

• The post-holder will be expected to come into the primary office location in Church House, Westminster, one day per week.
• You will need to have a relevant professional Internal Audit or Accounting qualification i.e. IIA, CIA, ACA, ACCA, etc.
• You will need significant experience in the delivery of technically complex risk based internal audit assurance and advisory reviews across a variety of processes.

• A salary of £60,000 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

The purpose of the role is to lead an outstanding IT service across the Trust and cultivate a high performing team that supports all staff, people we support and other stakeholders.

Reporting to the Resource Director, the role will be key in supporting the digital transformation agenda, providing IT and data expertise that will enable higher quality of life for adults with learning disabilities and maximise efficiencies within the services that we provide. 

Main Responsibilities   

• Developing the IT strategy in alignment with the Trust wide strategic goals and evolving digital transformation priorities;

• Oversee the Trust’s approach to Cyber security, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. Being the subject matter expert for the organisation.

• Oversee the Trust’s data and privacy framework, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws and training and educating staff as required on data protection measures; 

• Lead, mentor and develop the IT team of four, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement;

• Prepare and manage the IT department budget, optimising resource allocation to achieve maximum value and efficiency and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources; 

• Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the Trust’s IT systems; 

• Providing IT expertise and advice for the software owners across the Charity including supporting the development of management reporting using Power BI;

• Support the development of an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of the diversity of the people we support; 

• Support any technology implementation plans ensuring all technology solutions are project managed effectively. To supports team members to ensure they identify risks, contingency plans and engage with stakeholders for effective collaboration; 

• To lead on procurement and contract negotiations with vendors of IT systems and software providers, ensuring ITTs and contract awards are in line with the Trust policies and value for money is achieved;

• Producing regular reports on KPIs for the IT team and reporting reasons for variances against target

What you’ll bring to the role:   

• Recognised Degree in Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 

• Proven track record in a senior management digital transformation position.

• 6+ years’ digitalisation experience. 

• 5+ years Project Management experience.

• Excellent working knowledge of Power BI 

• Proven track record on delivering complex projects. 

• Experience of having designed, implemented, and evaluated organisational transformation digital solutions and has delivered change that added value to the organisation. 

• Highly effective change agent who engages with senior stakeholders to deliver the digital program to the organisation. 

• Benchmarking skills and identifies best practice and knowledge of the digital landscape of organisations. 

• High degree of budget management experience associated with digital technology design and its adaptation. 

• Has strong relationships with approved vendors and with software suppliers of digital services to ensure effective delivery of digital technologies/systems. 

Location & Travel 

Remote based - Home 

Home-based with regular travel to visit Communities in Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, Yorkshire, and Worcestershire. Occasional overnight stays will be required. Ideally you will be located within travel corridors of Midlands to London or Manchester to York.

As a result of these findings, we collaborated with an additional group of young people to co-create Power UP! – a whole framework of opportunities providing training, mentorship, internships, youth associate roles and trusteeships to ensure youth voices are central to shaping decisions in both our organisation and in Westminster as a whole.

• YEP! - 3-month engagement and skills development programme that uses external facilitators to help develop young participants skills in key areas of YWF's work.

As Youth Voice & Engagement Manager, you will work with our Youth Voice Consultant, the team and young people to take a hands-on role in delivering, expanding and embedding these initiatives.

Your Role

Programme Leadership & Delivery

• Coordinate Power UP! - Plan, manage, and deliver activities including youth-led research, grant-making, internships and leadership opportunities.
• Run YEP! (Youth Empowerment Pathway) – Oversee this 3-month, 8-session programme, supporting external facilitators and guiding participants toward deeper engagement with and understanding of YWF.
• Mentor Youth Associates – Recruit, train and support young consultants leading change within YWF and their communities.
• Design & Deliver Workshops – Use a range of methods (including coordinating external facilitators) to engage young people, particularly those facing barriers such as language or social exclusion.

Programme Management & Evaluation
