The Corporate Partnerships Manager will lead the development of a new corporate partnerships programme. Key responsibilities

1. Strategy and Development

• Lead the development and implementation of a new, agile corporate partnerships strategy aligned with FFL’s strategic priorities and values.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective partners, with a particular focus on:
  • Property developers and construction firms active in East London
  • Corporate businesses in Docklands, Canary Wharf and the City of London
  • Companies with a strong commitment to social impact, the environment, skills development, education, culture and place-based investment.

2. Relationship Building and Income Generation

• Proactively approach and develop relationships with cold prospects through tailored, creative and strategic outreach.
• Craft persuasive pitches, proposals and presentations tailored to corporate audiences at different levels of seniority.
• Secure a diverse range of partnerships, including sponsorships, strategic collaborations, employee engagement, gifts in kind and project-specific funding.
• Lead on stewardship, ensuring all corporate partners are appropriately recognised, engaged and retained.

3. Internal and External Collaboration

• Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to shape partnership opportunities that support programme delivery, strategic objectives and community impact.
• Represent FFL externally at corporate networking events, briefings and presentations, particularly within the Docklands, City of London and East London areas.
• Contribute to the wider fundraising and development strategy, supporting team-wide initiatives and cross-cutting campaigns.

4. Reporting and Compliance

• Maintain accurate CRM (using Raiser’s Edge) records and income forecasts, working with the Director of Fundraising and Development to track engagement and manage risk for reporting to the Fundraising Sub-Committee.
• Ensure partnership activity complies with charity fundraising regulation and FFL’s internal ethical fundraising policy.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and impact updates for internal and external stakeholders.

• Participate actively in FFL’s collaborative team culture, contributing to a supportive, innovative, high-performing environment.

Essential

• Demonstrable experience in developing and securing new corporate partnerships, ideally in a fundraising, CSR or business development context.
• Strong understanding of relationship-building from cold outreach through to negotiation and account management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present compelling cases for support.
• Confidence and professionalism when networking and representing the charity externally.
• Experience working independently and flexibly in a small or medium-sized team.
• High level of initiative, resilience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) is a membership organisation and the voice of the profession, with over 4,000 members in the UK and overseas. Main Purpose

The RCOphth provides education, support and professional development for ophthalmologists of all grades and across all of their roles. Editors/Co-Editors/Instructors/Contributors

• Provide support to Editors and Co-Editors in loading resources onto the INSPIRE platform and integrating them to create learning materials.  This will entail formatting and editing text, images and video for house style and grammar whilst maintaining medical/scientific accuracy.
• Checking consent and clearing copyright/licensing permissions for materials used in INSPIRE.
• Organising Editor and Co-Editor meetings and workshops.
• Create mechanisms to obtain user feedback on learning materials and evaluate the platform to direct change.

Communications/Liaison

• Liaise with internal colleagues in the Department, the Communications Team and external stakeholders in relation to the development and promotion of online resources.
• Liaising with College staff from other departments about current and future projects that require support from INSPIRE or will generate learning materials for the platform.
• Liaise with those organising and delivering courses and webinars to record presentations, select and upload materials, and create specific learning pathways for delegates.

About the Role

A core strand of the charity’s offering works to help adults build the skills, knowledge, confidence and behaviours to manage their money well. We do this by delivering Financial Wellbeing Workshops, Webinars, Specialist Programmes, Consultancy projects and through distribution of our Money Manual. The charity works with both community (charities/social enterprises) and commercial organisations to reach adults in their context of need.

Reporting to the Director of Workplace & Community Programmes and working as part of a small team, the successful candidate for this role will support the organisation and administration of our fully-funded Financial Wellbeing Workshops, our Specialist Programme for adults with Learning Difficulties, and other ad-hoc Community-oriented projects. Our Community Workshops and Programmes are delivered in partnership with organisations in a range of settings up and down the UK, with the participants being their beneficiaries or service users. The Workshops themselves are delivered by our training consultants who also undertake local outreach work to find new organisations and groups to partner with, supporting our central marketing efforts. This is a brand new role on the team to help us grow our reach as part of our new 2025-2028 strategy.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join CSW, a Christian organisation working for religious freedom through advocacy and human rights in the pursuit of justice. We are seeking a Finance Officer with a keen eye for detail, and an aptitude for learning new skills, to take on purchase ledger and payroll administration duties in our Finance Department.   You will have either begun on the path of attaining a financial qualification or had some experience in a similar role.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all purchases, payments and returns, including supplier invoices, staff payments (salaries, expenses and advances), project and contractor payments and credit card transactions.  Responsible for project reporting against budget.

Key responsibilities (full responsibilities listed in the application pack):

• Ownership of the purchase ledger system, administering the entire process of invoice receiving, checking, coding, distributing for approval, posting to the accounts software (currently Sage), setting up domestic and international payments for authorisation, and electronic filing of documents.
• Administering all credit card returns including distribution of statements to colleagues, checking and coding returns, collating documents, submitting for line-manager approval, posting to Sage and following up on outstanding items.
• Administering staff and contractors expense claims, advances, returns and funds transfer requests, including checking and coding, submitting for budget-holder approval, arranging payment both domestic and international, and electronic filing of documents.
• Recording project expenditure against budget and drafting project financial returns to meet funder deadlines.

Home based role and living within the relevant region or close enough proximity to be able to travel and meet the requirements of this role’ (subject to meeting homeworking assessment requirements, which includes a minimum broadband speed of 18Mbps). 

In this new but key role you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Negotiating Officer to manage and support our stewards, safety and equality representative networks across Yorkshire and Humber region, advising them in providing individual and collective industrial relations support to members, working both in and outside of the NHS. You will also be expected to spend approximately 25% of your time, managing cases from across the UK, but predominantly from nearby regions.

The postholder will work in collaboration with other health trade unions across the region.

You will work with the CSP regional team to recruit and organise members, influence on local workforce issues and promote physiotherapy.

You will provide representation for members at disciplinary hearings, grievances and disputes with employers, and provide general advice and information to representatives and members on issues such as pay, terms and conditions, and employment legislation.

With significant trade union experience at a senior level, and an understanding of NHS structures and government policy on health, you will have excellent communication, negotiation, training and presentational skills, combined with a strong collaborative approach and a thorough understanding of, and commitment to, equality and diversity principles and the ability to put them into practice.

Key duties of the role are as follows:

To ensure effective financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis for budget holders, senior management and external parties as required. Building excellent relationships with the Audience and Development teams, ensuring that:

• The Directors, Heads of Department and cost centre budget holders are supported and challenged on all financial issues, including reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• There is effective and ongoing financial monitoring and control
• Budget variances, risks and opportunities are identified and flagged as part of the management accounts monthly reforecast process

To deliver monthly management accounting and other reporting for relevant cost centres, including:

• Meeting budget holders to discuss accuracy of the accounts, reasons for variances and required actions and updating forecasts as appropriate

The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will monitor and map the criminal justice policy landscape, tracking developments across the system. They will engage with MPs, civil servants and key stakeholders, bringing evidence from our membership and the voices of those impacted directly by the criminal justice system to government to influence change.

The postholder will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have demonstrated evidence of impact in policy and public affairs. They should be confident in building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, be a collaborative and inspiring team player, show commitment to our values and share a passion for the CJA’s vision and mission.

Main responsibilities

Public Affairs (50% time)

• Develop and implement the CJA’s public affairs and influencing strategy to advance the CJA's objectives.
• Work with CJA members on influencing specific legislation, including campaigning around bills, writing amendments, and working with MPs and Peers to promote them within the legislative process.
• Stakeholder engagement (Parliament): Build and maintain relationships with key policy makers and parliamentarians through face-to-face meetings, providing briefings to MPs and Lords for Parliamentary debates, preparing written/oral questions, and attending Select Committees, APPGs, Parliamentary receptions and other relevant roundtables and events.
• Stakeholder engagement (other): Build and maintain relationships with other key stakeholders, including Police & Crime Commissioners, the Victims Commissioner, HM Inspectorates, civil servants, and other relevant bodies.

Policy and Research (40% time)

• Monitor policy and political debates and developments on criminal justice issues, horizon-scanning emerging policy issues, and where appropriate, disseminate and brief colleagues and CJA members.
• Maintain a repository of evidence briefings from CJA members.
• Identify proactive and reactive opportunities to promote and embed CJA and members recommendations and research.
• Produce high quality and influential policy briefs, reports, position papers, and responses to consultations, to advocate for changes in policy and practice put forward by CJA members.
• Lead on the monitoring of policy engagement and impact by using our evaluation tools and work with external evaluators as required to capture impact and utilise learning.
• Work with CJA members, people directly impacted by the justice system and other key stakeholders to harness and amplify their expertise and insights.
• Lead the co-ordination and establishment of member expert groups to inform our policy work.
• Develop opportunities for joint working with researchers / research organisations and manage that partnership work, including co-ordinating the CJA research symposium.

Other (10% time)

• Work with the Communications and Engagement Manager to respond to media and other communication opportunities to promote the CJA’s work and to contribute to national debate on criminal justice issues.
• Work with the CJA team to recommend and secure relevant speakers and presenters for CJA meetings and events. 
• Support the Communications and Engagement Manager to develop content for the website and other internal and external communications, such as blogs and articles.
• Contribute to the general administration and delivery of CJA programmes, events and overall objectives.
• Work with the Director to support the development of potential fundraising bids and reporting progress to funders.
• Conduct the duties of the job description in accordance with the operational policies of the CJA, including the Diversity and Adult Safeguarding Policies.
• Maintain good working relations with trustees, staff and other stakeholders.
• Maintain up to date and accurate records of contacts, engagement and stakeholder areas of expertise.
• Line manage any policy interns and / or other policy staff as required.

The charity is now seeking its first Development Manager to play a pivotal role within this small but ambitious organisation to support with its celebratory anniversary event and longer-term goals.
