Job description

About us

We’re Breast Cancer Now, the research and support charity. We’re the place to turn to for anything and everything to do with breast cancer. However you’re experiencing breast cancer, we’re here.

The brightest minds in breast cancer research are here. Making life-saving research happen in labs across the UK and Ireland. Support services, trustworthy breast cancer information and specialist nurses are here. Ready to support you whenever you need it. Dedicated campaigners are here. Fighting for the best possible treatment, services and care for anyone affected by breast cancer.

About the role

As part of a large, newly aligned and dynamic engagement directorate, you’ll be supporting the chief engagement officer (CengO) and engagement directors’ key priorities at a formative time for the charity in delivering to our bold new strategy and income and awareness growth. Supporting the CengO’s time, projects, communications and external and internal relationships, you’ll be a key connector cross-organisationally on CengO’s behalf in order to support this progressive time for the directorate and charity. In particular, you will provide exceptional stakeholder management support for the CengO and wider team launching and progressing the £50m campaign and campaign board.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

About you

You’ll be a pro-active, perceptive individual who has experience of executive assistant support for director or chief level. You’ll have a high attention to detail, the ability to work independently, at pace and communicate well across teams at all levels.
You’ll be able to quickly and effectively build key relationships internally and follow up in order to best support the CengO, director team and their priorities in delivering to an ambitious strategy and time of growth.
