Purpose of the job

Working across the Network Delivery Department, you will support the efficient day to day administration and co-ordination of the teams. You will play a critical role providing administrative and co-ordination support for the Network Delivery Department ensuring we have strong processes and ways of working to deliver our ambitious goals. You will support individual project teams to deliver specific work streams to help us enable all young people to thrive.

Key responsibilities

Provide administrative and coordination support to the Network Delivery Department to ensure the smooth running of the Department. This includes but is not limited to:

• Support the implementation of new systems and processes across the Department and ensure all are kept up to date

• Maintain team and departmental inboxes and provide first point of contact for enquiries, working across the team to ensure efficient communication and stakeholder satisfaction

• Provide logistical and administrative support to Project Managers relating to the delivery of our youth work programmes and activities with our networks

• Administrative duties including scheduling meetings, minute taking and booking venues/ catering

• Coordinate logistics for the delivery of events and public affairs activity related to the department

• Support ongoing work on departmental process improvement and new filing systems on SharePoint

The IPO will undertake and be responsible for a range of administrative functions to advance and simply casework flow under the Sub-Regional Immigration Advice Service (SIAS) project. The IPO must have the ability to communicate effectively with referring agencies and stakeholders on a regular basis. The IPO will organise and present data to funders and others on behalf of NKLC. The IPO would have a good general understanding of Legal Aid casework, and the regulatory obligations set by the SRA and IAA.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Partnerships Manager to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the Head of Partnerships and wider WFN team in delivering our fundraising strategy, stewarding high-value donor relationships, and unlocking new opportunities for income growth. 

The Partnerships Manager will work directly with some of WFN’s existing portfolio of 30 Major Donors made up primarily of Trusts, Family Foundations and High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) supporters, with some Corporates. About the role:

This is an exciting front-of-house role. As receptionist you will be responsible for greeting every young person as they arrive and ensuring they leave safely. You will also be responsible for the reception area: ensuring young people enter the session smoothly; processing new members; directing phone calls and enquiries; maintaining the membership database efficiently; and carrying out regular communication.

About the Role

The Lead Lawyer - Africa Death Penalty Team is responsible for coordinating Reprieve’s litigation and advocacy in Sub-Saharan Africa. At the moment, the team works on death penalty casework and abolition advocacy in Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya. 

Our casework includes work on appeals to the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal in the context of historic denials of a right to appeal and related contextual challenges; large-scale projects, such as the Kenya resentencing project, wherein we support stakeholders to ensure 5,000+ people are able to access a chance at reducing their sentence from death via a new sentence hearing, as well as supporting on individual strategic resentencing cases; and long-term regional projects, such as our strategic litigation before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, which challenges the mandatory death penalty, torture, and other associated violations of the African Charter. This is an opportunity to join a team that has developed groundbreaking work with great success in getting people off death row, making significant contribution to legal reforms and towards abolition.

Length and Salary

This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £52,088 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.

Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. This is a role that may require travel and work outside of core office hours from time to time.

About the role:

We are looking to appoint an experienced Philanthropy Manager to proactively lead the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, trusts and statutory bodies, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Engagement, the Philanthropy Manager will drive the growth of a portfolio of existing supporters and new prospects giving at the five and six figure gift level, with a particular focus on generating major gifts from new donors. The postholder will think strategically to develop inspiring fundraising cases of support, and impact reporting working closely with Care service colleagues, the finance team and the wider fundraising and engagement team.

This role has line management responsibility for three experienced fundraisers who manage their own portfolios of Major Donors, Trusts, and Foundations.

What we’re looking for:

· An experienced and enthusiastic Philanthropy Manager – with a track record of achieving challenging income targets and effective prospect management. Applications will be particularly welcome from those with a background in a children’s charity or SME with ownership of strategic planning.
