Who We’re Looking For: 

• At least 3 years’ experience of working at HR Partner or Adviser level in a generalist role covering HR practice 

• Experience of working in an HR role carrying out a range of HR duties, ideally in the church or charity sector 

• Experience of supporting managers in all areas of people matters, including recruitment, disciplinary, grievance, absence and sickness casework 

• Experience of working within a customer focused environment with the ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of people e.g., senior leaders, job applicants, employees

Fundraising lead (fixed term 12-month contract, 0.4 FTE i.e. 14 hours a week)

JustMoney Movement is seeking a part-time Fundraising lead to help us grow a more sustainable funding base. The role will work with senior staff to develop our strategic case for support to target small organisational/ institutional donors (£1-5k grants/ donations).

We are a Christian charity using education and advocacy to work towards our vision of a fairer, greener future, through the transformation of our financial system and wider economy. We want to grow and diversify our funding base, reducing our dependence on a small number of grants, and building a movement of allies who feel part of the community and are willing to financially support it.

The Fundraising lead will work with senior staff to develop a case for support for our overall strategy and use this to target small organisational/ institutional donors including small trusts; corporates and organisations; and churches. 

Role description

· Grade 3.1 expected FTE salary £35,700 pro-rated to 0.4 FTE/ 14 hours a week = £14,280 (subject to annual inflationary pay review).

· Fixed term 12-month contract. This post has funding for 1 year.  If successful, there could be scope to extend the role for longer.

The Head of Research and Policy is a key role within the Trust, overseeing its programme of policy-focused research on social mobility and educational inequalities. The Trust has published over 300 pieces of research since 1997, including many highly influential reports which have achieved widespread media coverage and attention among policy makers. This is an exciting opportunity to play a meaningful part in effecting change for disadvantaged young people, in a rapidly evolving policy landscape

The role sits within our integrated Communications, Research and Policy team, where we see communications and advocacy working hand in hand with generating robust evidence. As Head you will oversee a small research team producing original research internally, as well as commissioning work from external researchers and organisations. You will develop proposals and design research projects, as well as recommendations for policy and practice.

We are looking for someone with a deep interest in issues of educational equity, social mobility and increasing opportunity. You will combine a commitment to methodologically robust research with a passion for clear, impactful communication of findings and an eye for practical learnings.

Main duties
Research

• Leading the Trust’s portfolio of research, with the Director of Research and Policy, ensuring a regular and varied programme of policy-relevant research, including responsibility for its quality and accuracy.

The organisation's mission is to support global efforts to eradicate conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) and strengthen national and international responses to it through research and action on CRSV against men and boys. Working with victims/survivors and in partnership with national and international actors on the ground, the charity undertakes long-term, in-depth work in selected conflict-affected countries, currently Afghanistan, the Central African Republic, Colombia, and Ukraine.

In this role you will report to the Executive Director and lead a hands on, driven small team. You will play a key role contributing both strategically and operationally.

Salary: £60,000 per annum pro rata (£36,000 actual salary)

The Pilgrim Trust is an independent charitable trust founded in 1930 with a mission to preserve the UK’s heritage and improve the life chances of those facing the greatest challenges. We are now seeking an experienced and values-driven Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations, support our investment strategy, and contribute to the continued success and integrity of the Trust. 

You’ll be a strategic thinker with excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in the charitable sector. A confident communicator and collaborative team player, you’ll work closely with the Director, Trustees, investment advisers, and grant partners to ensure our finances are expertly managed.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Lead our finances: Manage day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting using cloud-based systems (we currently use SAGE).
• Be our financial steward: Ensure compliance with charity accounting standards and act as the main point of contact for auditors, HMRC, banks and other relevant authorities.
• Plan with clarity: Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts and annual financial statements, and support financial planning with timely insights and analysis.
• Support our grant making: Oversee grant payments, maintain accurate records and assess applicant financials when required.
• Steer our investments: Work closely with the Director, Finance Committee, and investment advisers to monitor our portfolio, implement strategy and track performance.
• Enable change: Review and develop our financial systems to ensure they are robust, efficient and fit for purpose.

What you'll bring:

• Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT Level 4 – or equivalent experience.
• Charity finance expertise: Strong understanding of charity accounting (SORP) and the regulatory environment.
• Tech confidence: Familiarity with cloud-based financial systems, Excel, and ideally grant management software (e.g., Flexigrant).
• Analytical insight: Skilled at turning numbers into stories and recommendations.
• Process mindset: Experience improving financial systems and processes.
• Collaborative spirit: A team player who shares our values and takes pride in supporting colleagues and grantees.

We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Production to join our Production Department on a full time, permanent position.

The Head of Production will play a pivotal role in delivering our world-class events ranging from contemporary and classical music, theatre, dance and literature, and commercial events such as graduations, film premiers and conferences.

Working closely with the Director of Technical Production, the successful candidate will lead on production planning, refine processes, and champion knowledge sharing. You’ll empower our dedicated team to thrive in a fast-moving, creative environment, ensuring we’re not just delivering today’s programme, but developing a future-ready, energised production team.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production planning and processes, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across a diverse and ambitious programme.
• Support the strategic direction of the Production team, embedding innovation, flexibility and continuous improvement.
• Build a collaborative and empowered team culture through effective management and mentoring of Production Managers.
• Champion the use of systems and protocols that enable cross-departmental collaboration and operational efficiency.
• Ensure health & safety, sustainability and accessibility are integral to all production activity

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven leadership in production management across multi-artform venues or large-scale cultural programmes.
• Experience implementing successful production processes and managing change in a complex, creative environment.
• Excellent planning and communication skills with a commitment to knowledge sharing and team development.
• Strong understanding of health & safety, sustainability, and access in live performance settings.
• Comfortable managing diverse stakeholders, budgets, and systems (experience with Artifax 4 is a plus).

As Head of Fundraising and Communications, you will manage a high-performing team of four staff: Database & Donor Manager, Communications & Engagement Manager. Community & Events Officer and the International Development Manager. Your key priority is to raise the income required as per the agreed annual income budgets for the organisation, managing all relevant income streams that include Trusts & Foundations, Events & Community, Corporate, Statutory, International and Individual Giving.
