About this role
The Senior Business Development & Fundraising Coordinator will work as part of the Fundraising and business development Team at RedR. Their role is to work across all income streams within business development and fundraising, with a focus on running the business development and fundraising team’s day to day work, supporting the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development in meeting BD and fundraising targets, draft high quality bids – particularly to institutional funders-, and nurturing relationships individual and corporate donors, as well as trusts and foundations.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team, Project and Line Management

Manage the day-to-day operations of the business development and fundraising team, including line management of the BD/Fundraising Officer.

Ensure timely delivery of BD and fundraising projects and deadlines in coordination with teams across organisation

Oversee the management and maintenance of Salesforce and other software and applications.

Ensure accurate income consolidation and donation capturing.

Support the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development in developing/updating and operationalising team strategies, budgets, systems, and processes.

Regularly provide feedback and information to achieve improved results and integrate planning and delegation when making decisions.

Business Development

Set ambitious targets together with Associate Director and achieve progress toward organisational objectives and Operational Plan.

Conduct internal reporting and prospect research into opportunities and funder priorities

Lead the development of successful small-medium and occasionally larger and complex bids to institutional and corporate donors, trusts and foundations in collaboration with teams across the organisation

Assist the Associate Director of Programmes and Business Development in developing large bids, primarily for institutional funders, ensuring drafts are prepared to a high standard.
Fundraising: (With support from Communications Team)

Lead the delivery of smaller fundraising activities and events.

Collaborate with teams across the organisation to secure funding from trusts and foundations.

Identify and implement opportunities for engaging individual donors.
Engaging with Stakeholders:

Develop and implement strategies for engagement and partnerships with a wide range of funding stakeholders.

Nurture strategic partnerships with key clients, understanding their underlying needs and exploring opportunities for cross-collaboration.

Share relationship management of institutional and corporate donors, trusts and foundations.

Role Purpose:
The role of the Commercial Programmer is responsible for the creative programming and delivery of a commercial public events programme through public commercial events and private venue hire to grow our income, visitor numbers and opportunities.

This role will support the development and delivery of key areas which are essential to our success:
Commercial public events and partnerships support the Commercial Events department to create a year-round plan of commercial public events which engage existing and new visitors and grow income.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Events programming and delivery
- To research, programme, and deliver a regular annual public programme at the Old Royal Naval College, incorporating seasonal events and event programmes related to art installations or exhibitions.
- To support the development of the Commercial Public Events programme in line with the Commercial Events Strategy as defined by the Commercial Manager.
- Generate income and profile through a range of commercial partnerships, ticketed events, and new ventures to build financial resilience of the organisation.
- Programming unique and innovative special events, working alongside site partners to deliver a collaborative programme of commercial events.
- To use bench-marking research and consistent formative evaluation to keep the public programme relevant and successful.
- To provide engagement opportunities for audiences from all backgrounds with a diverse programme of events.
- To ensure that all events are staffed appropriately with the appropriate level of cover for the activities onsite.
- To manage all documentation and liaison in relation to the delivery of the public programme (i.e. communication with internal and external stakeholders, the completion of events schedules, Event Management Plans, and risk assessments).
- To manage the engagement of contractors and suppliers working on the public programme, ensuring all health and safety protocols are met and site rules adhered to.
- To keep complete and up-to-date financial records and ensure that the programme remains within a set budget.
- To handle and respond to private event enquiries and confirm/programme them appropriately in the site diary.

JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will managing and lead the effective high quality delivery of the Grief Encounter therapeutic services, including online services, through a team of Therapists, Clinical Supervisors, placement students and volunteers.
They will assist the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) in implementing and developing the therapeutic element including intensive therapeutic support, projects, budgets and service planning. This will include:
- Leading, implementing and developing therapeutic projects and service planning.
- Managing Grief Encounter therapists, supervisors, volunteers and placement students.

The Pepper Pot Centre is a vital, Caribbean & other BME community resource for the over 60s in Kensington & Chelsea and neighbouring Boroughs, seeking to combat discrimination, isolation, depression and loneliness and help our members to take charge of their lives and live in a healthy and independent manner.
Having formally opened our doors in 1981, we are a meeting place for older and retired members of the community and a day centre that provides a balanced Caribbean meal, recreational and cultural activities and lots more. In 1976 & 2006 was visited by the late Queen and by the Duchess of Cornwall in2020.
We are now seeking a part-time Events Coordinator to join our team for a one-year, fixed term contract, working 21 hours per week.
About the role
This is a phenomenal opportunity for a proactive and community-focused individual with a strong grasp of the needs of older people from Caribbean backgrounds and other BME communities to take an exciting step in their career with our organisation.
We are looking for a highly organised and creative Events Coordinator to join our growing team to plan, deliver and evaluate the effectiveness of events targeted specifically at our 60+ community e.g. trips/visits to parks, museums, Theatre, Seaside and more.
Our new Events Coordinator will support the planning and delivery of a key part of our work, namely: the management of our events programme designed to combat and prevent isolation, loneliness and depression amongst our elders. They will work closely with our sponsor, Global Radio – LBC, Capital Xtra, Heart, Smooth, Classic FM, talkSPORT and more.
Specifically, you will:
- Develop an Events programme, trips, visits, excursions designed to combat discrimination, isolation, depression and loneliness.
- Publicise our programme of events, and activities via digital media, leaflet distribution, open days, and word of mouth etc.
- Support and encourage our members to attend the Events programme of activities.
- Recruit train and organise team of volunteers to support and expand the Events programme.
- Plan, organise administer and accompany members on trips, visits and excursions within and outside the UK and you may be required to work outside normal office hours.
- Produce written reports for the management committee and our sponsor Global Radio.
- Evaluate the success of events through feedback mechanisms, attendance records, and make recommendations

Most of the detailed work in this section is undertaken by the direct reports with the oversight and management being provided by this Finance Manager role

· Payroll - administration of and preparation of the payroll (Brightpay), including submissions in respect of HMRC and pensions.

Preparation of budgets and forecasts
· Management and preparation of the annual budget – including for example income (conference fees, product sales, advertising, onsite cafes), running costs (event production costs, team activity costs, honoraria) centralised costs (staff, overheads), departmental budgets (networking, marketing), capital and restricted funds etc.
· Update of forecasts as required with a target of quarterly reporting to Section Head budget managers and Director of Operations.
Reporting
· Management accounts/management information/data for regular quarterly report data as required including reporting on conference and product performance.
· Prepare year end accounts ready for review by Head of Finance.
· Reporting as required to review spending with department heads.
Management of the finance team

The role of Supporter Care Manager is a vital role in our delivery of fundraising services to our client and is a new role created by splitting our current Database & Supporter Care Manager role into two separate roles. This role will focus on the quality of our donor journey, associated communications and the accuracy of our reporting in conjunction with our client’s Finance team.
The Supporter Care Manager will ensure that all processes for recording and thanking donations is accurate, timely and meets regulatory and reporting requirements, whilst providing a friendly and supportive donor experience. Charity organisation based in London, is looking for an experience Payroll Project Manager for a 1-year fixed term contract.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be required help select and migrate a replacement to the current set up of having part of the payroll delivered on Sage and the other part delivered externally by external payroll bureau.
To check month end payroll and support the “Finance Manager” whose role is to run payroll each month by submitting data to the bureau or by using Sage.
Check payroll before Finance Director signs it off, making sure the P32 agrees to the payroll journal and that the correct deductions for pensions are paid over to the pension providers.
Supporting Finance Manager with any technical help required throughout the month and to cover for the manager if they were on leave.

· You must have 8 to 10+ years strong payroll experience.
· Experience of using a system called People Planner or Access payroll and have implemented People Planner as a timesheet system would be an advantage but not essential.
