Battersea is undergoing a significant transformation programme (known as Launchpad) to deliver real change in the way we work with, utilise, and learn from data. Our new approach will enable smoother animal, customer and supporter journeys and will help us embed a truly data and insight-driven approach to decision-making at Battersea. The first phase of the programme is to implement Salesforce Lightning as the organisations single CRM application.
With the programme underway, in the preparation for the first go live, this exciting role has been created within the new Data Applications team to ensure that all the system users are expertly supported.
This role, working within the Data Applications Team will initially contribute to the Launchpad programme by supporting training and UAT activity. Once the programme has been completed, this role will then be responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance needs for the new Salesforce Lightning CRM and other related applications as they are launched.

The Liberal Jewish Synagogue’s Drop-In for Asylum Seeker Families was established in June 2014.
Opening one Sunday afternoon each month, we welcome families with children under the age of sixteen who are applying for asylum in the UK. We provide a warm and welcoming space for our guests and give money or vouchers, advice, clothing, food and toiletries. We invite hundreds of people into the synagogue, and the Project Co-ordinator is expected to manage the logistics of this.
Our volunteers are experienced and loyal, all having a particular interest in assisting asylum seekers and refugees. The project is interfaith, and we encourage applications from within the LJS community and beyond.
We are seeking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator. This is currently a part-time post 20-25 hours per week, with a degree of flexibility as to when these hours are worked. The hours include working one weekend per month: setting up the Drop-in on the Saturday (after the Shabbat morning service), and running the Drop-in on the Sunday. Attending Steering Group Meetings (currently on ‘Zoom’) is also a requirement on a weekday evening 4-6 times per annum.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
· Maintaining a safe and secure register of our guests and checking eligibility criteria
· Reviewing guests’ documentation
· Referring guests to other services where appropriate
· Answering emails from prospective guests and maintaining a ‘Waiting List’
· Inviting guests to the Drop-In by text/email as appropriate
· Preparing lists of guests attending; clearly showing their financial entitlements on the day
· Liaising with the three Volunteer Co-ordinators on a regular basis
· Interviewing new volunteers, and advertising the project beyond the scope of the synagogue
· Responding to enquiries (via telephone /email) relating to the Drop-In from various parties
· Checking that Security Guard/s are hired appropriately
· Ensuring cash is obtained in a timely fashion from the LJS office to distribute on the Sunday
· Monitoring volunteer expenses
· Reviewing accounts in conjunction with the Steering Group
· Coordinating grant applications and keeping key stakeholders up to date

About the team
Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups and supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.
With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:
- creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;
- sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and
- providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.
This role will mobilise, develop and innovate our existing offer into a new Peer Support Hub with the focus on supporting sustainability and building resilience of peer support groups and their leaders. You will support and build our Kinship peer support community.
You’ll work with group leaders to develop a central hub of accessible and useful resources to help them to sustain their groups, working with colleagues right across Kinship to promote consistent access to services and activities (training, programmes, information, advice and campaigns), building a joined-up user experience.
About the role
The role of the Peer Support Hub Lead is to oversee and take accountability for sustaining kinship peer support groups across England in priority areas as part of a new hub and spoke delivery model.
In this context, your team is the centralised ‘hub’ of the service, delivering an exciting programme of training, speakers, toolkits and resources to help peer support group leaders develop, build and sustain their group well.

Mid-Level Giving Officer
Position Objective:
The Mid-Level Giving Officer will support PETA’s impact and growth through their work with an exciting portfolio of mid-level donors typically giving £250 - £999 size gifts. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of cultivating, stewarding and soliciting from this pool of valued supporters, including Vanguard Society Members, to provide a first-rate donor experience while deepening members’ engagement and financial support. The Mid-Level Giving Officer will also work collaboratively with other departments to enhance the mid-level donor experience, identify and refer major donor prospects to the appropriate team members, and ensure that efficient processes are in place.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of Vanguard Society donors and prospects
- Creating engaging donor journeys and presenting opportunities for deeper engagement
- Develop and implement donor-specific plans of strategic communication touches by phone, email and mail. This will include updates on PETA’s progress and victories, messages of gratitude, invitations to events, and asks to donors to increase their financial support.
- Manage a portfolio of Vanguard Society and mid-level donors, each giving £250 + or with the capacity to make annual gifts at a higher level (at one time as well as cumulatively), including cultivating and stewarding each donor to increase their engagement and giving.
- Solicit and close gifts from assigned mid-level donors.
- Regularly qualify new prospects and donors in their capacity, inclination, affinity, and readiness to give.
- Track and achieve key activity and revenue metrics, while meeting weekly with the manager to report on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ensure that mid-level donors’ database records are updated in a timely fashion. Document pertinent information (meetings, correspondence, notes, etc.) for the purpose of enhancing and developing PETA's donor database.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other teams and colleagues, including legacy, direct response, data, prospect research and communications, to enhance the donor experience and ensure that efficient processes are in place.
- Stay up-to-date on mid-level fundraising techniques and methods used in the nonprofit sector and attend professional-training opportunities as well as weekly coaching and progress reporting meetings
- Conduct oneself in a professional, friendly and truthful manner to donors.
- Perform any other duties requested by the supervisor.
- Acknowledge, thank and recognise donors appropriate to their level of support, and ensure restricted gifts are appropriately allocated
- Work with key PETA staff to find ways to engage donors in our mission, including by meeting supporters face to face or over the phone

What you’ll be doing
This is an exciting new role that provides an opportunity to build a new major gifts programme from scratch. Supported by the Senior Development Manager, you will work closely with the CEO, Director of Development and the Board to develop a giving strategy that will directly feed into our organisational strategy, with a focus on increasing engagement and the growth of the major donor income stream.

Key Roles and Duties

Role Requirements
We are looking for the right person to join the team – this could be someone with experience or someone who is willing to learn and has a strong transferrable skill set.
You will have:
- Effective campaign copy writing and ability to translate ideas into design briefs.

- Support the Head of IT in the day-to-day management of invoices and of the IT budget, ensuring that spend is accounted for and managed according to RCR’s guidelines.
- Manage, administer and schedule regular board meetings. Follow up actions agreed in the board meeting, in partnership with the Head of IT.

As a Service, we often work with students facing complex and challenging circumstances and who may be in crisis. Students contact the Advice Service for support with a range of personal difficulties such as mental ill health, sexual violence, domestic abuse and financial hardship.

About the role
Do you work in an information, advice, guidance, or a support setting? Are you passionate about welfare rights and supporting students? Do you love developing and coaching people. We’re looking for an Advice Service Manager to lead on the day to day management of our Advice Service and grow and develop our Advisors.
The Students’ Union Advice Service supports a student population of 50000 with case numbers averaging over 3000 per year. We’re here to empower students to exercise their rights and options if they encounter problems during their time at university. We offer one-to-one advice on academic issues, housing, money and student finance issues and student life.
We’re currently going through a service transformation, and we want to lay the foundations for a thriving and sustainable Advice Service, able to meet growing demand and complexity of cases. We’re embedding a new staffing structure, and we’re looking for an Advice Service Manager who can support our staff to transition into the more senior roles available. You’ll lead on staff training and development so that we achieve our transformation plan.
As well as management, you’ll be taking on your own cases. You’ll enjoy this role if you’re interested in the law and getting to grips with regulations and policies and you’re passionate about helping people to understand their rights and challenge poor practice. As Advice Service Manager, you’ll also be using your expertise in this field to coach your team on managing their own caseload and delivering high quality advice. You’ll contribute to building strong relationships with our stakeholders. This role will really suit you enjoy speaking to people and networking. We want someone who can build positive working relationships for access to collaborative working and new opportunities for the Service.
You’ll be joining a supportive team and have access to regular one to ones as well as external restorative supervision. We are looking for someone who has experience of advice giving but you aren’t expected to come with knowledge of all our areas. Training will be given. We’ll want to hear about the knowledge and skills you have from previous roles and how you can bring the skills you’ve developed and apply them to this opportunity.

This can increase during busy periods, to cover short staffing and is subject to change dependent on business need.

About the role

· You will be based at our Coombe Park Equestrian and Education Centre near Totnes.
· This is an annualised hours contract based on 37.5hours per week with flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings. The role is fixed term for 12 months with potential to become permanent.

Help build a visitor destination
You'll be at the forefront of developing and executing our visitor engagement strategy to enable meaningful public engagement, with a particular focus at our Coombe Park Equestrian and Education Centre which we aim to open as a visitor attraction with hire facilities from 2025.
Commercialise our facilities
Develop and commercialise hire of our indoor and outdoor arenas, and from 2025 our equine riding simulator, while balancing the needs of our working sanctuary.
Create memorable events
Develop and execute a programme of high-quality engagement events for the public and equestrian community. This also includes facilitating drop-in sessions for the Charity’s supporters and maximising existing income-raising schemes such as visiting to adopt a pony and in-memoriam.
Lead by example
Recruit, train, supervise and motivate visitor engagement team members and volunteers, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service.
Oversee daily operations of visitor engagement services across all sanctuaries, including facilities, ticketing, information desks and customer support. You will work collaboratively and communicate effectively with managers and staff at these multi-sites.
Network with purpose
Expertly network in the South West to establish The Mare and Foal Sanctuary as a visitor destination and manage our membership with relevant destination management organisations.
Stay on top of trends
Monitor visitor feedback and conduct surveys to continuously improve services and programmes. Analyse visitor data and trends to inform decision making and strategic planning.
Keep visitors safe
Ensure compliance with health and safety, accessibility standards and other relevant Charity policies and procedures.
Manage the budget
Manage budgets and resources for visitor engagement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency, and aim to meet key performance indicators and annual budgeted income.

The purpose of the role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for delivering, renewing and evolving new and existing high-value, long-term corporate partnerships. They will work with the Senior Corporate Account Manager to support the team in delivering best-in-class account management. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will also support with new business and revenue generation through securing additional income.

The candidate will be a creative problem solver, with exemplary relationship building and customer service skills. The role will be focussed on both account management and new business. The candidate will have an ambitious approach to generating revenue through income growth opportunities and new business both with existing accounts and new prospects for the National Theatre.
The successful candidate will have the following:
