Job description

The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School and Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls seek to appoint a Director of Development.

This is a particularly exciting and important time in the history of our Schools. In September 2019, we published our Strategy for 2030, committing our Schools to work more closely together and to do more to honour the philanthropic legacy of our founder Robert Aske. We are now seeking to recruit an exceptional individual to bring together two separate development and alumni teams in support of the Schools.

Responsible for setting the vision and strategy of fundraising and alumni relations across the two Schools, you will play a leading role in developing and managing a unified development team across the Schools and will define and achieve the Schools’ fundraising goals and engage supporters.

Further details and an application form can be obtained from our website. Please note CV’s are not accepted.

Closing date: 8am, Wednesday 5 February 2020.

First stage interviews: Wednesday 12 February, with second stage TBC.

Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants for the above post must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including reference checks with previous employers, prohibition checks and a criminal record check via the Disclosure & Barring Service.
