Our Fundraising Team is formed of three fundraising strands, an established Trust & Foundation (T&F) grants programme, a developing high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) programme and a digital fundraising stream raising income from the public.
We are seeking a Trusts & Major Gifts Senior Fundraising Manager to expertly cultivate and steward T&F and HNWI relationships to secure new and existing funding opportunities.
Position
As part of the Fundraising Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving ShareAction’s fundraising strategy and enabling the organisation to deliver its mission. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will lead your own portfolio of high-value trusts and foundations, securing major multi-year partnerships that underpin the organisation’s work. You will also play a key role in developing our major gifts programme, cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals and bringing six- and seven-figure philanthropic support on board.
You will be building on the momentum of our fundraising growth, playing a vital role in supporting the organisation’s sustainability and enabling us to deliver even greater impact in a ‘transition’ year where we are launching our new five-year strategy.
A typical week will involve researching and identifying new prospects, managing and deepening relationships with existing donors, and developing compelling propositions aligned with ShareAction’s five-year strategy. You will collaborate with colleagues across teams, ensuring a coordinated and strategic approach to fundraising and keeping senior staff and trustees informed of pipeline and cultivation plans. Line management and development of the Major Donor Manager is a critical element of the role, providing coaching, guidance, and oversight to deliver against the major gifts strategy.
You will also attend funder and prospect meetings in London, deliver excellent stewardship to retain and grow support, and monitor activity and track progress using Salesforce and project management tools. Staying up to date with sector trends and philanthropy developments, you will ensure ShareAction maintains a forward-looking and innovative approach to fundraising.
Through building strong relationships with stakeholders, delivering impactful propositions, and developing a high-performing team, you will help ShareAction secure the resources it needs to drive meaningful change and advance its mission of responsible investment and financial system reform.

What you’ll bring to the team
We want to hear from you if you have significant experience in fundraising from trusts and foundations and major gifts, with a proven track record of securing six-figure, multi-year gifts and managing long-term philanthropic relationships. You’ll be highly skilled at building and sustaining networks with senior internal and external stakeholders, including trustees, programme directors, CEOs, and family offices, and you’ll be confident operating at the highest levels to inspire support for ShareAction’s mission.
This role would suit someone who enjoys developing compelling fundraising propositions, identifying and cultivating new opportunities, and working strategically to grow income streams. You will be an excellent relationship manager with sophisticated communication skills, persuasive writing ability, and the capacity to influence and inspire colleagues and donors alike. Exceptional organisational skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and strategic insight are essential, as is the ability to line-manage, coach, and develop the Major Donor Manager to achieve ambitious goals.
While experience with international fundraising, campaigning NGOs, or financial sector knowledge is desirable, we welcome applications from candidates who bring transferable skills, creativity, and a passion for advancing responsible investment.
We have a hybrid working policy in place, and the Fundraising Team meets monthly in the London office. As this role involves regular meetings with London-based donors and prospects, there is an expectation that you will be able to attend the office or stakeholder meetings on average 4–6 times a month.

The Role
BASIC is seeking an experienced and strategic Communications Manager to lead and implement effective communication strategies that amplify our mission, enhance our brand identity, and strengthen engagement with key audiences. The ideal candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a proactive approach to storytelling, and the ability to collaborate across the organisation to ensure clear, consistent, and impactful messaging.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Communications Manager will play a central role in shaping BASIC’s external presence, working across programmes to craft compelling narratives for social media, the website, and other digital platforms, as well as press contacts.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the National Housing Federation (NHF) to join our team of External Affairs Managers on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. The NHF is the voice of housing associations in England. We are the trade body to almost 600 housing associations, who have grown from philanthropic roots to provide 2.6 million homes to around 6 million people. Could you be our new External Affairs Manager, working closely with our housing association members across the East of England?
This is a unique and varied role which would appeal to someone with a background in areas such as stakeholder management, policy, public affairs, communications, programme management – or a combination of these areas! For example, you may be looking to step into a role to further develop your leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, whilst still building on your policy or programme management experience and knowledge.
You will operate at the heart of social housing by working with key decision makers across the housing association sector – including managing relationships with chief executives, chairs of boards and executive directors. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential to the role, as well as the confidence to work at the most senior levels.
It is crucial that you can work collegiately to lead key programmes of work across the NHF with colleagues in other teams, for example from our policy, press, events, and public affairs teams. Equally, you will be comfortable working autonomously and shaping your own work programme.
The core of the role involves being responsible for engagement with a whole geographic region of our membership; and working closely on or leading one of the NHF’s key themes of work, which include areas such as supported housing; devolution; developing new homes; decarbonising existing homes; ensuring the building safety agenda is delivered; or representing our rural or smaller housing associations.
The role is wide ranging and in addition to stakeholder management and programme leadership, will include running roundtables between our members and government, chairing sessions at NHF conferences, and presenting political and policy updates to senior teams within housing associations.
You will be part of a team of eight External Affairs Managers sitting within the member services directorate, which is there to ensure that we provide excellent value for money for our housing association members.
Key elements of the role:
· You will build and maintain brilliant relationships with housing associations leaders, using your well-developed communication and advocacy skills to maximum effect.
· You will develop knowledge, insight and understanding of housing associations to shape our policy and influencing work and to create structured programmes of member engagement on critical policy and political issues.
· You will be the contact point for housing associations in your region, ensuring they receive first class customer service on the issues which matter to them. Working closely with NHF members you will facilitate the organisation of regional chief executive or leaders forums and sounding boards.
· In addition to your regional work, you will lead on the strategic planning and delivery of a key NHF policy priority. This will require collaborative working with colleagues from across the organisation and working with members across every region and specialism. You will play a leadership role, creating structured engagement strategies to ensure members are able to influence policy as well as engaging key NHF stakeholders and sharing best practice.
· Your role will be to implement structured member engagement to ensure our policy priorities, positions and influencing work are member-led. This will include working directly with members to inform our policy positions and lead our influencing work.
· You will influence debates at the highest level and you will spot in advance and act strategically to mitigate the risk to our membership. As such, this role requires a high degree of political and organisational acumen and the ability to horizon scan.
· You will work with colleagues in our Commercial and Events teams to maximise commercial opportunities and help shape content at our conferences, as well chairing conference sessions.
· To be the face and voice of the NHF with members, stakeholders and the media.
· To ensure that as an organisation we deliver as a whole team, seamlessly, to members to achieve greatest impact in line with the business strategy.

The Open Wing Alliance (OWA), a program of The Humane League, is a global coalition of approximately 90 animal protection organizations across 70+ countries united in a common goal: to end the abuse of chickens worldwide. For the past several years, we have focused our efforts on eliminating cages from the egg industry by securing cage-free policies from major retailers, restaurants, and manufacturers. OWA groups share tactics and resources to secure as many wins for animals as possible, specializing in institutional campaigning that can be tailored to our members’ unique circumstances and challenges.
As Temporary Global Campaigns Coordinator, you will be part of a team responsible for researching, coordinating, and launching hard-hitting global corporate animal welfare campaigns against major multinational companies. These campaigns involve collaboration and coordination with animal protection organizations around the world and directly contribute to The Humane League’s org-wide goal of ending the abuse of animals raised for food by securing global cage-free policies that significantly improve the lives of millions of egg-laying hens.
As a campaigner, you’ll have the opportunity to develop knowledge of our targets, our primary campaign strategies, and the tools we will use to win. You will assist with the execution of tactics spanning email, social media, advertisements, and other digital spaces, and you’ll also help the team leverage our digital action platform by setting up digital actions with a high degree of accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring determination, creativity, and a collaborative mindset. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Global Campaigns.
This is a temporary, full-time, remote position, beginning in January 2026 and ending in December 2026. The duration may be extended or shortened at The Humane League’s discretion. The temporary hire will provide coverage while a permanent staff member is on leave. This position provides the opportunity for optional domestic and international travel, equivalent to 2 or more trips per year.

Conduct research to help inform campaign strategies, tactics, project plans, and communications (including slogans and language). Gather and monitor contact information, data, and key details about target companies and their executives.

Support Global Corporate Campaigns Leads with the preparation and execution of campaign tactics in line with THL’s overarching strategy, including (but not limited to) email and social media actions, phone calls to corporate employees, petitions, and advertisements.
