What does the role involve?
The Membership and Awards Assistant is a new role in the Membership team at the British Pharmacological Society. JUSTICE is looking to recruit an Interim Head of Governance and Operations to join our friendly, values-led team. This is a fixed term post for 12 months (maternity cover) and provides an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of governance and operational management.

We also close the office between 25 December and 1 January (inclusive), which is addition to the annual leave mentioned above. We review salaries according to inflationary changes on an annual basis, contribute 8% to your pension for the first 2yrs, rising to a 10.5% contribution thereafter and offer generous parental and dependency-related leave. The Position
The IT Manager will work with our outsourced helpdesk provider to deliver maximum availability of the network, data and systems, to ensure we are secure and compliant and to provide support and training to our staff. The IT infrastructure includes an extensive wired and Wi-Fi network throughout the building with approaching 100 Wi-Fi access points. This network is critical for the smooth running of the Society’s day to day activities and the successful operation of events on the premises, which account for turnover in excess of £1m p.a.
The IT Manager will also be the internal technical/project lead on the ongoing development of the Society’s CRM system, Centrepoint’s oomi product.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a permanent, full-time post subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months. The salary range for this post is £45,000-£55,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. The post is based in Kensington, London.

Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) are recruiting for an Expert by Experience Coordinator to join our supportive and growing team. The Expert by Experience Coordinator is a new role in our small dynamic charity. The postholder will work to ensure the voices and perspectives of individuals with lived experience of asylum and forced migration are integrated into the design and delivery of AFRIL services and policy work. This role involves facilitating communication, promoting co-production, and empowering individuals to share their expertise to improve services and guide policy priorities.
The post involves coordinating our monthly Members Forum, and working with the core team to feed this into policy and service development, alongside thematic and sometimes practical support to our Allotment Steering Group, Rainbow Club Youth Council and Asylum Hotel Residents Forum. The postholder will develop the AFRIL ambassadors scheme, creating opportunities for former clients to continue to be involved in shaping AFRIL, and work with the Director to develop a governance level co-production structure as agreed with the Board of Trustees.

About the role

Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Business Partnering team, the People Business Partner will build constructive working relationships with a portfolio of executive directors, senior and middle managers in support of the achievement of shared organisational objectives, partnering leaders and managers to turn their people plans into reality and address issues that may hinder performance and service delivery. Designing, implementing, and evaluating People (staff and volunteer) initiatives that support the Hospice’s strategic aims, and the ambition of the Hospice to move from being a ‘good’ to ‘great’ employer.

This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational individual to join Keychange in an important new role. We are looking for a candidate who is excited about delivering high-quality management information and helping to drive forward efficient and effective data management. The successful applicant will collaborate with the finance team at Keychange to provide comprehensive financial data to community managers, the senior leadership team and trustees. Additionally they will support the senior finance team in producing consistent and reliable non-financial organisational data.

We do this by providing housing to women and young people experiencing homelessness and providing residential care to older people across the South of England. The Careers Officer is responsible for supporting the RSB's professional development programme through administration, evaluation and development. The successful candidate will help to ensure that the objectives in the RSB business plan are met, with an emphasis on developing and delivering events, resources and other careers support to meet the needs of our members and the wider scientific community. In addition, there will be a requirement to provide administrative support to the professional registers and the accreditation programme to ensure growth and high quality standards in both these important areas.

The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is exclusive partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their evolving team on a permanent basis, in this newly created role.
The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key senior member of the finance team and will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. They will support the Director of Finance and Operations, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and budget holders to understand and interpret IIED’s finances and play a key role in the long term strategic financial planning process.

The key duties of the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis are as follows:
- Lead on strategic financial reporting to provide a clear picture of the organization’s short- and long-term financial position
- Manage the design and build of financial models to support strategic planning, project impact assessment, and forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic forecasts and budget plans
- Develop and maintain financial models to project future financial performance
- Lead the finance business partnering function, providing support and guidance to budget holders and key stakeholders

The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified with a recognised professional body, or be able to prove they are qualified by experience
- Experience in charity financial planning, budgeting and cost recovery model in a complex organisation
- Substantial relevant finance management experience in the not-for-profit sector
- Experience in mapping and analysing processes and identifying and implementing process improvement
- Excellent communication skills and be able to influence at all levels within the organisation
- Ability to manage, support and develop diverse teams to work effectively together and with the rest of the organisation
- Ideally, experience of accounting within a grant receiving organisation

At Citizens UK, our organisers and project staff work within communities to develop leaders, strengthen organisations, campaign for change and organise across difference. Main Responsibilities
The principal responsibility of an Associate Organiser is their own development: learning the craft of Community Organising under the guidance of an experienced Community Organiser. You will work intensively with a small number of member organisations under close supervision, growing your experience, skill and responsibility incrementally. An Associate Organiser is working towards becoming a competent practitioner of the craft of broad-based community organising methodology, and focuses on the building of relational power, the recruitment and retention of dues-paying institutions, the development of leaders, the strengthening of member institutions, leader-led public actions, and the winning of systemic change.
This role is particularly to organise with Be Well Organisations in Greenwich and Bexley. Be Well Organisations may be faith, education, or community institutions, tackling isolation and poor mental health by: 1. Building relationships, 2. Signposting and offering practical support, and 3. Taking action on structural and systemic inequalities and injustices. But you may also work on other campaign priorities and responsibilities as needed across the team.
We are looking for people who are angry about injustice, who believe ordinary people have the power to make change, and who are motivated to learn the craft of Broad-based Organising. The role is hugely varied, and involves working across the two boroughs, in different institutions and context, and with a lot of independence.
Working as an Associate Organiser in South London Citizens, your main responsibilities will include:
