The Salvation Army – Assistant Head of Individual Giving - Supporter Acquisition and Innovation Unit

Salary: £59,744 per annum.

The Salvation Army, the UK’s leading social welfare charity, is seeking a direct marketing expert to lead its newly formed Supporter Acquisition and Innovation Unit and provide strategic leadership, direction, and management of the annual acquisition programme.

The Assistant Head of Individual Giving is a key, senior role in the Individual Giving Section, overseeing the development and delivery of multi-channel direct marketing activities that inspire and motivate many thousands of new contactable supporters to join the charity’s donor base each year. The post also leads the development and implementation of new acquisition products from concept to launch and meeting an initial annual fundraising target of approximately £500,000. The role leads a unit of three people including one direct line report.
The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in all aspects of direct marketing, specifically acquisition, including detailed knowledge and experience of how best to maximise both offline and online channels, as well as successfully implementing new and innovative products or offers. Experience in successful strategic planning, management and implementation of strategy will be critical as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates must be highly organised project managers with excellent leadership and people management skills and the ability to think analytically and critically. They will also possess skills in creative development and, finally, have the ability and willingness to work within, and be empathic with, the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission.

Age UK is recruiting for a CRM Product Manager to join our delivery focused Digital and Technology team. We are creating a new Data capability which will transform the organisation so stakeholders have the opportunity to unlock business insight from trustworthy data. A core part of the Data capability is the Customer Relationship Management platform, Microsoft Dynamics.
This role is about developing clear product strategies and roadmaps, finding synergy and creating value for our users and the organisation. Age UK is a large and complex charity, so you need a collaborative mind-set and extensive stakeholder management experience. Communicating and managing expectations will be something you enjoy doing with the ability to translate complex technical elements to non-technical employees.
This role is offered on a hybrid / London contract and will include occasional travel to our modern co-working hub in London (Tower Hill). This will be circa once a month.

Partnerships and Events Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding events and donor experience professional to join a highly-effective global team, increasing the effectiveness and impact of a nonprofit working to improve the lives of millions of the most vulnerable people around the world.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, the Events Manager is a member of the partnerships team, in the external relations directorate. This role must be based in the London office but supports the work of all our global teams, most frequently the external relations team situated across London and New York.
The post-holder will be primarily responsible for the planning, creation, production and delivery of all of the Freedom Fund’s global external events, and will provide management, support and coordination for internal events. The events will range from small dinners, receptions and panel events, through to larger-scale annual events, such as staff retreats, Board hotspot visits, fundraising events and international convenings/conferences of varying scale and size. This is a vital role within our team – building upon and maintaining the Freedom Fund’s global reputation and brand, and ensuring our donors and key stakeholders enjoy exceptional experiences which deepen their understanding of our work and strengthen their relationships with us.
