As Individual Giving and Appeals Manager, you’ll deliver integrated fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, and digital channels — helping us grow our individual giving base and strengthen donor loyalty.
Alongside driving individual and regular giving, you’ll help shape a new in-memory giving offer, build our legacy giving programme from the ground up, and grow our Named Funds programme.
Working closely with teams across the charity, you’ll design inspiring donor journeys and stewardship plans. You’ll also use data and insight to refine our approach and ensure every supporter feels truly valued.

Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a creative and strategic fundraiser who is passionate about delivering impactful campaigns and building meaningful supporter relationships.
The ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrable experience in managing individual giving campaigns, legacy fundraising, and / or in-memory fundraising.

Proven experience developing compelling propositions that drive results and generate income/supporter acquisition.

Strong planning and organisation skills, with the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.

Proven record of being results-driven and achieving agreed fundraising targets ad outcomes.

Excellent verbal and written communication as well as relationship-building skills with an ability to inspire and engage supporters.

Within our Marketing & Commercial department sits the Digital team. Responsible for Battersea’s digital output, our goal is to drive innovation and impact online. We manage Battersea’s website, and lead its digital products, campaigns and advertising – all to increase awareness of Battersea’s work and engage people with the need to support our dogs and cats.
As Website Coordinator, you will support the whole Digital Products team in our ambition to create sector-leading user experiences across our website and suite of digital products. Battersea's Global Programmes Department are looking for a passionate individual to join the team as Grants and Programmes Associate.
The Grants and Programmes Associate will support the delivery of a portfolio of work within the Grants and Programmes function at Battersea, focusing on the UK portfolio. The Associate will work closely with and report to a Grants & Programmes Manager who leads the portfolio. This is an exciting time for Battersea as we expand our work to impact more dogs and cats.
Over the coming five years, it is planned that the size and complexity of grant making will grow, including the establishment of several multi-year programmes in the UK and abroad.
This is a grants management role within the Grants and Programmes team in the Global Programmes Directorate, requiring excellent experience of relationship, grant and project management. The successful postholder should be comfortable working as a team, with considerable scope, and complexity and nurturing relationships with colleagues across the organisation as an integral element of the role. The Associate would support a portfolio led by a Manager who would also be their line manager.
