The Marketors are seeking a fulltime Clerk. We are a Royal Chartered City of London livery company open to marketing, sales and agency leaders. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience of the management, marketing, communications and strategy development of a comparable sized member-led organisation
- Up-to-date IT and online skills; experience of running CRM systems and managing social media channels
- Experience of and/ or a willingness to embrace the ethos/ culture of the City of London and the Livery Community
- Positive leadership, organisational and administrative skills with the ‘presence’ to engage ‘peer to peer’ with senior members of the Company
- Experience of the marketing or agency world would be an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

We are seeking a dedicated and organised administrator to support our membership and workforce initiatives. The sexual and reproductive health (SRH) workforce is comprised of doctors, nurses and allied practitioners who deliver high quality care across the UK and beyond. The CoSRH Membership and Workforce Assistant will support the needs of this workforce, supporting the delivery our Workforce Action Plan in partnership with the Director of Membership, Marketing and Digital and the Vice President of Membership and Workforce. You will lead on the administration of regular committee meetings in the Membership and Workforce portfolio, support the progress of key initiatives and coordinate responses to workforce-focused queries from our membership.
The role reports into the Director of Membership, Marketing and Digital.
The role:
Administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council
- Lead on administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council and its sub-committees, including setting meeting dates, sending invitations, preparing papers, taking minutes and actions, and dealing with queries.
- Supporting with actions arising from the Board, including supporting the development of projects and programmes as directed by the Board.
- Supporting the Direct of Membership, Marketing and Digital in coordinating responses to queries from the Membership and Workforce Board of Council.
Administration of key workforce processes
- To act as the main point of contact for clinicians looking to recruit new SRH professionals
o and wish to have their job descriptions reviewed by the CoSRH.
o and require representation from the CoSRH on relevant interviews
- Managing these key processes and ensuring documentation is saved, recorded and monitored.
- Respond to workforce-focused member queries
- Support the effective use of the CoSRH Member Portal for committee support through gaining expert knowledge of the CoSRH Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Provide feedback and advice on members’ use of the Member Portal other digital platforms on an ad hoc basis.
Administration and support of the CoSRH Mentoring Scheme
- To act as a key point of contact and support for our forthcoming mentoring scheme, resolving member queries and ensuring the smooth running of the scheme.
- Provide support as a system administrator, using dedicated member mentoring software to ensure a high-quality mentoring experience.
Other tasks as directed by the Director of Membership, Marketing and Digital
- From time-to-time the role-holder will be required to perform other tasks as reasonably allocated by the line manager.
- This may include responding to general member queries at busy times, with full support and training provided.

You will have experience of:
- Committee administration and diary management
- Using a CRM and other databases to manage data and information
- Servicing and supporting committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
- Good stakeholder and customer management skills
- Working under your own direction
- (Desirable) Knowledge or experience of working in the NHS or in a clinical setting

RMF is a registered charity founded in 1855 whose aim is to assist registered doctors and their families who are in financial hardship. The Royal Medical Foundation is a charity based at Epsom College in Surrey, UK. It was founded in 1855 by Dr. John Propert. The foundation’s primary mission is to assist GMC-registered doctors and their families who are experiencing financial hardship. The foundation provides support in several ways: regular payments to doctors, widows, widowers, and children of doctors; One-off grants for emergency situations; and assistance with school fees for the children of doctors, helping to maintain educational stability during times of distress caused by illness, bereavement, or financial need.
The Role
The role will be assisting and supporting the case work manager in the good running, granting and management of awards to beneficiaries and the development of its impact in accordance with the RMF’s charitable objectives. The caseworker will report to the Case Work Manager but is accountable to the Chair of the RMF.
Case Work duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Investigating all applications, which meet the Foundation’s guidelines to satisfy their eligibility for financial assistance. Checking the applicants’ personal and financial circumstances to make recommendations of the type and amount of assistance required. Investigating supporting documentation, potential beneficiaries and conducting due diligence to eliminate any fraudulent applications, particularly if information provided is inconsistent.
- Ensuring applicants meet the Foundation guidelines and eligibility criteria and provide the relevant information needed.
- Support the Casework Manager with preparing, drafting and presenting case papers for quarterly RMF Board meetings, as well as regularly reviewing cases and providing updates where necessary.
- Administering new and existing grants and awards, including administration of regular payments to beneficiaries. Maintaining regular contact with all beneficiaries and ensuring that any problems are dealt with swiftly. Regularly reviewing and updating existing beneficiaries’ financial circumstances and liaising with the finance department and Administrator accordingly.
- Signposting and referring as and when necessary to other agencies (e.g. social workers) and charities. Maintaining close liaison with all the other Medical Charities to ensure that all applicants receive the assistance they need, and to prevent unnecessary duplication in financial assistance. Attending regular meetings held by trusts and charities to stay connected with developments in the voluntary sector and for networking purposes.
- Signposting to support applicants with Welfare Benefit advice - ensuring that beneficiaries are in full receipt of all their eligible Welfare Benefits.
Office and management duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
General Administration
- General office administration including dealing with all post, emails, and telephone calls for the RMF.
- Ensuring the various application forms and letter templates are kept up to date, including changes to state benefits.
- Track and monitor applicant and case load data, identifying any trends or patterns of behaviours. Regularly monitor and update key metrics relating to applicants and case work including number of applicants per quarter and their profile/demographic, number of open and closed cases and report to the Board on a quarterly basis.
- Draft a quarterly report to the Board, monitoring data and identifying trends relating to key metrics relating to applicants and case work including the number of applicants per quarter, their profile/demographic, number of open and closed cases.
- Providing timely information as requested by the auditors and responding to any queries form the Auditors. Assisting the Director of Finance and Secretary to Council in preparing for and drafting the Annual Report and Financial Statement.
RMF Board Meetings
- Support the Casework Manager with preparing the case papers and all supporting documentation for the Board meetings.
- Preparing the award and refusal letters after each meeting, in line with decisions made as recorded in the Minutes.
- Managing and tracking each beneficiary offer and acceptance of award.
Payment Arrangements
- Ensuring there is sufficient funding available for awards agreed by the Trustees. Liaising with the finance team to ensure payments are made on time and are accurate. Providing appropriate updated data to the Director of Finance (of Epsom College) to add to the Grants Financial Statement.
- Providing information for payment of the monthly BACS and other payments with supporting evidence and liaising with Director of Finance and Administrator for approval of payments.
- Ensuring the correct withdrawal of unused funds is put forward at each meeting and inform Accounts Department accordingly to deduct on the Grants Financial Statement when approved.
- Ensuring that the various payments requested by the beneficiaries are reasonable, are consistent with the minuted decision, that funding is available, and payment is actioned appropriately.
Marketing and Profile raising
- Support the Caseworker Manager in developing and implementing plans to raise the profile of the RMF and target appropriate audiences within the medical sector to increase appropriate applications and report back to the Board.
- Assisting the Caseworker Manager in raising awareness of the work of RMF including writing articles for medical publications, applying for charity grants and awards as well participating in charity award events;
Compliance
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the Casework Manager (or other senior manager) who will escalate to the Safeguarding Lead where appropriate – following all safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant regulatory and legislative guidance applicable to the Charity, including the Charities Commission guidance.
- Ensure board reporting, recording keeping and working practices are compliant with Data Protection principles, UK GDPR and other regulatory requirements;
- Maintaining a high standard of record keeping and detailed case records, including attendance notes of any communication with applicants.
Qualifications, skills, attributes, and experience
- Experience in promoting a charity’s mission and goals to offer appropriate support to potential applicants
- A good working knowledge of the processing of grants and awards in compliance with regulatory standards, alongside financial acumen
- Strong working knowledge of the advice sector, and the welfare benefits system to support the Charity’s beneficiaries, maximising their income and providing holistic signposting to other services
- An excellent understanding of the Data Protection and UK GDPR
- Excellent administrative skills and casework recording, with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and discuss sometimes sensitive and challenging information, and impart information in a way that is accessible to applicants, Trustees, and the wider community.

This role is under the employment of the RMF. However, given the association and attendance from time to time at Epsom College all RMF staff are expected to be committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in addition to the applicants to and beneficiaries of the RMF. This strategic role oversees all public income streams, including: individual giving, legacies, events, and innovation, while leading a high-performing team and sector-leading Supporter Care function.

Core Purpose:
The Head of Public Fundraising is a pivotal strategic leadership role at Make-A-Wish UK, responsible for the strategic direction, planning, delivery, long-term growth and performance of all public fundraising and supporter engagement activity.
This includes strategic oversight of all public income streams - individual giving (cash, regular giving, lottery, payroll), legacies, in-memory giving, challenge events, community fundraising, owned products, and innovation—as well as operational leadership of the Supporter Care team, which manages supporter care, income processing, data imports, and inbound queries for the whole organisation.
The role leads a multi-disciplinary team of around 20, across four core public fundraising and engagement functions, who are responsible for delivery of a high-performing public fundraising programme and sector-leading supporter care function - acquiring, engaging, and retaining supporters at scale, growing income sustainably and ensuring every interaction reflects Make-A-Wish’s values and drives long-term income growth.
This role contributes to over 50% of the charity’s total fundraised income, plays a critical role in long-term sustainability, and operates at cross-organisationally to embed a supporter-first culture, championing segmentation, stewardship and integrated journeys that drive lifetime value. The role is responsible for delivering significant and growing income targets, developing multi-year investment plans, and influencing organisation-wide strategies to ensure we are equipped to serve a growing supporter base. Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in public fundraising, with a strong track record of income growth across a broad portfolio of income streams (e.g. individual giving, legacies, community, events, innovation, lottery).
- Experience of leading the development and implementation of organisation-wide strategies, and aligning team plans to broader strategic priorities.
- Demonstrable success in a senior leadership role of similar scale and complexity, with full accountability for strategy, delivery, performance and people management across multiple teams and functions.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale fundraising strategies, investment plans, and innovation pipelines which supports the organisational vision, mission and strategic objectives.
- Significant experience of leading both income-generating and operational functions (e.g. supporter experience or donor services).

Reporting to the People Director, you will be joining a highly supportive and friendly People Team, committed to working together to provide a high-quality and responsive service to the organisation.
While your main focus will be our UK people operations, you will also engage with our country offices around the world, developing an understanding of their people operations and working with them to maximise efficiency across the organisation.

This is an exciting time to join Bite Back and take our public affairs strategy forward with the Government. We have already seen significant policy wins in the past year and have big ambitions to drive more progress in 2026. In 2024 and 2025 our youth activists gave evidence to the House of Lords, hosted parliamentary drop-in sessions and a mock inquiry, and made memorable appearances at party conference fringe sessions. This is an opportunity to build on that success and raise Bite Back’s profile even further amongst policymakers at a time when the Government is charting its new strategic approach to improving the food system as well as its 10 year plan to save the NHS. The Senior Public Affairs Manager will report to our Director of Advocacy & Strategy and be responsible for developing and implementing all our public affairs activity, ensuring alignment with our campaigns team and working closely with our partners in other organisations to bring about meaningful change. Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate would have the following:
Essential

A demonstrable track record of working in public affairs in an agency, in-house or in Parliament

Comfort and familiarity engaging with senior political stakeholders of all parties
-
Excellent knowledge of the UK political landscape including the working of Westminster, Whitehall and existing relationships with MPs and advisors

The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and respond flexibly to adapt strategies to fit rapidly changing political landscapes

An action oriented, results driven, well organised approach

Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages and language to resonate with different audiences

A passion for young people’s health, nutrition and social justice

Experience in utilising online support to deliver off-line change; Bite Back has a dynamic and growing supporter base that we want to integrate into our wider influencing work
