Job Title: Supporter Care Officer
Responsible to: Individual Giving Manager
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Location: USPG, 5 Trinity Street, London, SE1 1DB
Hours of work: Full time - 35 hours per week

The Job
Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the Supporter Care Officer role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team. USPG is looking for someone with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm to join our small but growing fundraising team. The post holder will be the first port of call for all incoming communications and will work closely with the Individual Giving Manager to ensure that our supporters feel valued. The role is also responsible for maintaining the data and developing supporter care processes.
You
You are highly organised, enthusiastic and flexible with a passion for delivering an excellent supporter experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, data handling and administration. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible, can-do attitude. The role holder will be used to co-ordinating a varied workload, working in close collaboration with colleagues and delivering to deadlines. They will have excellent IT skills and experience of working with databases.

What you’ll do:
- Coordinate the National Subspecialty Webinar Series (Sept 2025–June 2026)
- Support our volunteer doctors who work with the learning team on our events and activities, through recruitment, onboarding, and recognition
- Collaborate with Special Interest Groups and internal teams to ensure smooth event delivery
- Provide administrative support across the RCR Learning Team to ensure excellence in every interaction

We are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to work in a dedicated Programmes and Grants directorate, working at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.
Key responsibilities:
- You will be central to our work in the delivery of innovative and impactful grant-making.
- You will lead on the delivery of key, new and existing funding programmes, relationships and portfolios, sourcing and making recommendations on complex and strategically important requests for funding and building effective relationships with our grant holders.
- You will also work closely across our Impact and Evidence, Employer Engagement and Public Policy & Communications teams to ensure successful applicants are supported to deliver high quality, impactful projects that will build the evidence base of “What Works” to support the most disadvantaged young people into good jobs.

This role is on a 12 month fixed term contract and can be based at any of our hubs located in Birmingham, Leeds or London. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Background to Role
The Healthier Lifestyle team at Age UK Croydon offers a range of inclusive and accessible activities and events across the borough of Croydon combining exercise, and social engagement in a variety of local settings. These sessions help reduce isolation, improve independence, prevent falls, increase fitness levels and manage health conditions. They also provide social engagement and interaction, information and support around living with dementia, a safe and welcoming space for all to engage and relax.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Manager to lead our Healthier Lifestyle team which includes a team of 3 part-time Project Officers, one Dementia Support Officer, Dementia Project officer and a great team of volunteers. Addressing health inequalities and fulfilling our mission means that the Healthier Lifestyles service has opportunity to grow and expand. We want to reach younger older people to encourage “Act Now Age Well”
An important element of this role will be looking for opportunities to develop existing services and to introduce new services including some paid services. The Healthier Lifestyles Manager is a member of the Integrated Leadership team to support our One Organisation One team ethos for integrated working and holistic support for the older residents of Croydon.
Some duties will include (but are not limited to) –
- Oversee effective data recording for monitoring and reporting.
- Monitor outcomes and impact and prepare reports on the projects progress for Commissioners, Funders and AUKC Trustee Board
- Monitor and manage workload, organise schedules, ensuring that work is purposeful, targets are clear and support staff to reach their potential and feel valued.
- Support staff with regular supervision using the Age UK Croydon Empowerment Striving for Excellence, Innovation process
- Attend leadership team meetings, staff meetings and joint working parties and project groups as appropriate.
- Implement Age UK Croydon's Equality and Diversity Policy and ensure that equality and diversity principles are incorporated into the planning, delivery and monitoring of services.
