About the Role

The Co-Executive Director – Development & Impact will provide joint leadership for People’s Economy, inspiring and driving our team, community and partners to achieve our mission. Their focus is on building and strengthening the organisation by ensuring we have the systems, resources, knowledge and processes in place to scale our programmes and deliver our strategy effectively.

This is a generalist leadership role focused on building organisational capacity rather than holding deep specialist expertise in all areas. The postholder will instead assess what we need to strengthen the systems that support our programmes and make it happen.

UK for UNHCR – Director of Individual Giving

Contract: Initial two-year fixed-term contract. 

Location: Hybrid working, with one to two team days per week in London, EC2A.

Working hours: 35 hrs/week.

UK for UNHCR, the UK partner of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), is seeking an Individual Giving leader to shape the future of Individual Giving at the organisation and unlock long-term, sustainable income growth.

UNHCR stands alongside people forced to flee their homes, advocating for their rights and raising funds to support their protection, dignity and futures. UNHCR’s work has never been more important – by the end of 2024, a record 122.6 million people were displaced, with children accounting for 40% of all forcibly displaced people
UK for UNHCR (UK4U) builds solidarity and raises funds in the UK for refugees worldwide - last year UK4U raised a total income of £25.5 million and continues to build on strong foundations since its beginnings in 2019.
The charity is now seeking a Director of Individual Giving in a new and exciting opportunity to explore how UK4U can expand on these foundations, with a focus on increasing the sustainability of the donor base and maximising lifetime value, as well as identifying opportunities for transformational income growth.

The role will be responsible for leading a team of 12 people and strategic leadership for all fundraising from the UK public, including mid-value and legacy supporters, and covering both digital and offline channels. The post-holder will utilise market insight, data intelligence and an innovative approach to design a high-performing long-term Individual Giving strategy that puts UK4U’s supporters and refugee communities at the heart of everything they do.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of leading successful, large-scale multi-million-pound Individual Giving programmes and proven leadership experience at a senior, strategic level. You will have a strong track record of fostering innovation in Individual Giving, alongside the experience shaping strategy and making significant investment decisions.

You will also have a deep understanding of the UK Individual Giving fundraising market across all channels and of programmes that focus on value, high average gift rates and mid-value programmes. Finally, you will be an inclusive and empowering leader with a strong commitment to the refugee cause. Experience of fundraising for international humanitarian and development causes would be an advantage, as well as understanding of mid-value programmes.

London is a fantastic city to call home, but a central truth remains in the capital. Every year thousands of young people find themselves unhoused, unsupported and unsafe.

Founded in 1967, our client continues to be a vital support network for 16–24-year-olds with nowhere else to go. Through the services they provide at their day centre, in the community and remotely, their dedicated, multidisciplinary team of over 70 staff support thousands of young people facing homelessness in London to find safety, improve their wellbeing, develop skills for life and ultimately find somewhere that they can call home.

As they embark on their new 5-year strategy, the centre are now recruiting for an exceptional individual as their new Director of Services, a newly created role that will lead on the delivery and development of all frontline services.

As Director of Services, you will be responsible for the leadership, development and integration of all frontline services at the centre, covering Housing, Health, Youth Work, Rough Sleeping, and Youth Justice. You will work to ensure that services are high quality, joined-up, trauma-informed, and relentlessly focused on the needs and potential of the young people the centre serves. You will lead service innovation, performance and quality across the delivery portfolio, ensuring that services are inclusive, impactful, and responsive to the needs of service users. As a senior leader, you will help shape organisational strategy and culture, working closely with the COO to drive improvements, partnerships and cross-team collaboration.

This is a pivotal leadership role within a well-established social housing provider and charity, offering supported accommodation and services to vulnerable individuals. As Assistant Director – Property Services, you will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of property services across a diverse portfolio of residential, office, and retail spaces.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring full compliance with housing regulations, health and safety legislation, and building safety standards. This includes overseeing planned and responsive maintenance, asset management, and facilities services. You’ll be a confident leader with excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with internal teams, tenants, contractors, and regulators. Strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and a commitment to inclusive leadership are essential.

You’ll also have:

• A degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., construction, housing, surveying)
• Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, IWFM) or equivalent experience
• Strong project management and procurement skills
• A passion for delivering high-quality, safe, and sustainable housing services

Queenscourt Hospice is an independent charity that provides free, specialist palliative care for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. We care for patients with advanced progressive illnesses helping them to achieve the best possible quality of life.

We receive only just over a fifth of our costs from the NHS and generate additional funds from charitable donations and support of the local community.

The role of Director of Business and Strategy Development has responsibility for all Non-Clinical Services which include Finance, Human Resources, Estates, Education, Technology and Income Generation.

This pivotal role encompasses significant executive responsibilities and the successful post holder will require a broad skillset. Role Overview: Fundraising and Operations Director

The successful candidate will lead RLS’s income generation through our next phase of development. You’ll oversee our relationships with key funders, individual giving, our approach to major donors and our communications. You’ll work closely with the Management Team and trustees to set and implement fundraising strategy and highlight and manage risk.

As a member of the Management Team, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day leadership and oversight of the organisation, with involvement in decisions from strategy to HR, project design and many other aspects of our work.

Core Responsibilities:

Fundraising strategy and development 

• Lead the development and delivery of RLS’s fundraising strategy to meet our funding targets and deliver our strategy.
• Meaningfully involve and guide the Management Team, trustees and Fundraising Officer in strategy development and delivery. 
• Develop new funding sources as appropriate.
• Ensure that funding sources fit with RLS’s values and our moral and ethical fundraising policy.

Organisational leadership 

• Work with the Management Team and trustees to lead on the delivery of RLS’s strategic objectives.
• Work with the Management Team to lead RLS, including finding creative solutions to issues as they arise and ensuring the smooth running of the organisation.
• Foster a supportive work environment that’s true to RLS’s values.

Lead on funder relationships 

• Develop and cultivate relationships with potential funders.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of funding opportunities to meet our targets and fulfil our strategy.
• Lead relationships with existing funders, ensuring that they’re regularly engaged and that all reporting deadlines are met.
• Support the Fundraising Officer to lead on certain funder relationships. 

Proposal and application development

• Lead the development of compelling applications and proposals for funders. 
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all funding applications meet the needs of RLS and align with our strategy.

Individual giving and major donors 

• Work closely with the Fundraising Officer to develop and deliver a high quality individual giving programme to meet our fundraising targets. 
• Manage relationships with major donors and further develop this income stream. 

Communications and events 

• Work closely with the Fundraising Officer to develop and deliver RLS’s communications strategy. 
• Work with the Fundraising Officer and CEO to oversee and continue to develop RLS’s website. 
• Organise and deliver events from time-to-time to support the delivery of RLS’s fundraising strategy. 

Risk management, reporting and record keeping 

• Ensure that the Management Team and board have an accurate picture of RLS’s financial position, including a clear picture of risk. 
• Oversee accurate records of funder and donor relationships and income through our CRM. 

Representing RLS and occasional travel

• Represent RLS at events from time to time.
• Occasional travel, potentially including international travel. 

Line management 

• Provide high quality line management to the Fundraising Officer.
• In future, there may be other line management responsibilities as RLS’s staff changes to meet our new strategy. 

Person Specification

• Senior leadership experience in income generation 
• Proven success in securing significant, multi-source funding, including trusts and foundations. 
• Expertise in developing long-term financial strategy and sustainability
• Experience in shaping and overseeing individual giving campaigns 
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to find creative, innovative solutions and problem-solve. 
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to foster a team-wide understanding of and involvement in fundraising.

Location: London/Remote working. Staff in London are expected in the office 2 days per week. Staff outside London have more flexibility but must travel to the office at least once per month.

The Role

We are seeking a strategic, analytical and collaborative Director of Quality and Impact to lead Get Further’s approach to programme quality, evaluation and impact. This senior role will ensure we understand what drives success for our students and embed learning across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Impact and Quality Team, managing Senior Data Officers and Curriculum Managers, and promoting effective cross-team working.
• Developing and refining evaluation frameworks and methodologies to measure programme impact and outcomes.
• Ensuring high-quality, consistent programme delivery with robust quality assurance processes.
• Analysing data and insights to inform decision-making and improve student outcomes.
• Leading the production of impact reports and evaluation outputs for trustees, funders, partners, policymakers and the wider team.
• Contributing to Get Further’s senior leadership, helping shape overall strategy and organisational priorities.
• Supporting business development and funding applications by embedding impact and evaluation evidence.

icap exists to improve mental health and wellbeing among the Irish community in Britain through the provision of counselling and psychotherapy. Post Title: Director of Clinical Services - Psychotherapy

Reporting to: CEO

Line Management Reports: Clinical Managers, Outreach Therapist/s, and support staff.

Purpose of Post: To provide organisational governance and strategic leadership to the Board/Trustees, and CEO as a member of icap’s Executive team.  To develop and ensure implementation of icap’s clinical strategy ensuring good governance of clinical standards and resources.

Lead and represent an experienced clinical team within icap and externally. To work with and support the Clinical Managers and other clinical staff with the day-to-day management of the clinical service.

Terms:  Permanent

Salary£56,800 pro rata plus pension

Hours: Minimum 0.6 – 0.8 FTE, 21 - 28hrs per week (open to negotiation), hours by arrangement to include some hours on 4-5 days each week; the post requires some pre planned out-of-hours work and travel.Our offices are open between 09:00hrs - 19:00hrs on 3 days and 09:00 -17:00 two days each week. Volunteers support our reception function on extended opening hours (after 5pm).

Location:  London; some travel to detached sites in London, Birmingham, and across the country to other operational sites (Irish Centres) where the organisation is providing services. On site working required with opportunity for limited hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Functions

 Working with the Board/ Trustees to develop ICAP’s clinical strategy including:

- Reporting to icap’s Board, on progress against icap’s clinical and operational strategy,

- Preparing Board Reports and Risk Register

- Deputise for the CEO.

Work with CGSC chair and trustee members to:

- Develop clinically appropriate Policies, Procedures and Processes. Promote a culture of learning within the clinical team, ensuring therapists are up to date and engaged with data collection, reporting and monitoring.

- To pro-actively participate as a member of icap’s Executive Team, attending board meetings, Clinical Governance Sub Committee meetings and a regular calendar of fundraising events

 Clinical Facing function:

Work with the Clinical Managers to support them with the day-to-day management of the clinical service.  Line Management oversight of the Supervision function of the organisation. Act as the DSL for Adult Safeguarding including the training, risk management, recording and reporting of all safeguarding activity. Ensure icap’s strategic objectives are understood and supported across the Clinical service. Review the Client Contribution policy to include full cost charging for services.

Oversee the Implementation and roll out of CORE CMS across the service. (New project)

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

 Clinical Leadership and Management experience in a small or similar organisation. Managing and working with minoritised or deprived groups with multiple barriers and limited access to psychotherapy. Experience of producing Board reports and working with commissioners, developing funding applications, and service level agreements for Clinical services. Experience of Clinical Governance and reporting targets and outcomes.

Training and 6+ years direct experience in using psychotherapeutic and trauma informed approaches with recognised post graduate psychotherapy qualification. Accreditation with either BPC, UKCP, BACP, ICP, NCPS and/or IACP. Evidence of up-to-date practice as recommended by relevant professional body.

Knowledge and experience of SharePoint and the Microsoft suite of tools.
