The Minerva service provides holistic, trauma-informed support for women in touch with the Criminal Justice System. We do this through offering dedicated one to one support, safer women’s centre spaces and specialist interventions and partnerships.

You will be a creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder and has good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions.

Job purpose:
The CHISVA will be responsible for providing a specialist service to support children, young people and families after a disclosure of child sexual abuse. You will work in a flexible and responsive way with both adults and children to deliver professional, emotional and practical support that meets their individual needs throughout the Criminal Justice Process.
We give equal priority to keeping all children and young people safe regardless of their age, disability, gender idetity, race, religion or belief, and sexual orientation.
We welcome applications from survivor-practitioners (employees who have lived experience of sexual and/or domestic abuse). You can choose to identify as a person with lived experience within the recruitment process if you feel comfortable doing so, however, this is not a requirement of the process.

Key Tasks and responsibilities
- Provide effective emotional support, practical support and advocacy to children, young people and safe family members following a disclosure of child sexual abuse.
- Hold and maintain a caseload of children, young people and families – able to prioritise demands and respond to shifting priorities with flexibility, care and compassion.
- Undertake needs and risk assessment with children and families using the Safety and Support Assessment. Develop individual support plans to address risks/support needs of client.
- Provide accurate, timely and concise electronic records.
- Enable children, young people, and vulnerable adults to access appropriate therapeutic interventions, engage with other support organisations and develop their own support network.
- Where necessary provide emotional and practical support through the criminal justice process, providing accurate and impartial information, liaising with Police, CPS, Registered Intermediaries, and other CJP professionals.

- Provide information to children, young people, and families regarding the impact of the trauma of sexual violence and the potential for moving forward.

- Ensure equitable access for all children, young people and families in Nottinghamshire, including being aware of resources available regarding interpreters etc.

At Fear Free, we take pride in delivering exceptional services across the Southwest region, and we are excited to announce that we are launching a new team delivering sexual violence therapeutic support across Wiltshire and Swindon. Part of a diverse team of professionals supporting adult and child victims of sexual violence, you will play an integral role in providing one-to-one and group support for adult survivors.
The Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) will work within a multi-agency system to provide a proactive, person-centred independent service for adult and children who are victims of sexual violence, empowering choice through informed decision making. Key elements of the role include:

Risk assessing and helping to keep service users safe (safety planning).

Working with primary and secondary schools within Wiltshire to provide support and guidance on how to support children affected by sexual violence or abuse

Providing informal education in assemblies and schools around consent and healthy relationships around Wiltshire

Provision of 1-1 psychoeducational support sessions, with a focus on safety and stabilisation.

Enabling victims to access statutory and other services.
This ISVA role requires the building of effective relationships with other agencies especially educational settings within Wiltshire that may support victims of sexual violence, developing referral pathways and creating outward facing information resources and campaigns to raise awareness and build confidence in reporting sexual violence.
The ISVA will be required to work to the Quality Standards for services supporting victims/survivors of sexual violence.
This fixed term role for 12 months will be based in our Trowbridge office, with expectation of paid travel across the area. Fear Free supports staff to work flexibly and we operate hybrid working (working both remotely and in the offices).
Key Responsibilities

To provide a person centred, client focused, independent service, distinct from the role of a crisis worker or counsellor, primarily for the benefit of the victims of sexual abuse.

To work with family members and supporters of victims to provide information and support where appropriate and required.

To work within educational settings like primary and secondary schools in Wiltshire to ensure there is support for DSLs who support students who have been victims of sexual abuse.

To provide specialist psychoeducational support, focusing on safety and stabilisation, to support victims to manage their experience of trauma.

To refer on to other support if required, including internally to our other therapeutic based supports.

To provide sensitive and non–judgmental support, enabling the service user to regain control and self-esteem.

Encourage/assist clients to develop their own support network.

To provide information to enable clients to make informed decisions in relation to the self-referral option, medical care, forensic examination, making a police report, mental health and sexual health and onward referrals.

To promote the service to external agencies where applicable.

Role Purpose
RISE strives for a world where people can lead safe, purposeful lives as a result of better relationships within families and communities; where harmful behaviour is marginalised and fewer people, are victims of crime. In order to create safe communities, RISE empowers people to break their cycle of harmful behaviour. RISE’s programmes challenge attitudes and facilitate long-lasting behaviour change and are driven by the belief that people, including children and young people, can make better decisions, given the right support. RISE are specialists in designing and delivering evidence-based, transformative behaviour change courses within the criminal justice system and wider community.
The Advanced Practitioner will manage a caseload of 70% which will involve direct work with service users. The post holder is also required to coach, mentor and develop staff and deliver regular workshops to enhance their skills and expertise in specific area. Additionally, there is a requirement to exercise enhanced responsibilities in relation to conducting specialist risk assessments and work with service users and families. Such responsibilities will include the ability to demonstrate enhanced levels of practice, competence/skills in areas such as direct practice with service users, children and families, multi-agency working, knowledge of organisational systems and processes and the wider social policy context.
The post holder will be required to represent RISE when meeting with external commissioners and key stakeholders, as and when required.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery – 70% of workload
- Engage in direct practice with service users, children and families including, where appropriate, co-working with other practitioners (to develop their skills and expertise).

About Sebby’s Corner
Sebby’s Corner is a Barnet-based charity supporting vulnerable families and children living in poverty across London and the South East. We support thousands of families every year with clothing, nappies, formula, school uniforms, birthday gifts and more. In 2024–25, we supported almost 4,000 children and over 2,300 parents, distributing £482,993 worth of essentials.
Sebby’s Corner serves families in crisis, many of whom are experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic abuse, seeking asylum, or living in poverty. Referrals are made by frontline professionals including social workers, midwives, health visitors, and family support workers so we can ensure we are reaching the most vulnerable.

About the Role
We are looking for a confident and strategic fundraiser with proven experience in major donor and corporate fundraising. You will lead our income generation, helping us to raise over £400,000 every year, with a focus on building high-value, long-term partnerships with individuals and companies. What We Offer
Salary & Pension
The salary range for this role is £42,000 - £48,000 FTE per annum (gross), dependent on experience and pro-rated if you work part-time. If eligible to join the pension scheme, we will match your contributions by 5%.
Annual Leave
