Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator

Charity People are thrilled to be partnering with All People All Places (APAP) in their search for a new Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator; this is a newly created role that will lead on building meaningful relationships across the local community to generate new income and increase engagement.

We provide vital services including a day centre, advocacy and casework, and a small year-round night shelter. We work in close partnership with local agencies and are a trusted gateway service for those facing homelessness. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a mission-led organisation tackling homelessness as it presents locally. You'll lead on community fundraising and engagement, working with schools, faith groups, local businesses and individuals to inspire support and deliver impactful campaigns.

The Role

• Salary: £34,000-£38,000 FTE (£20,400-£30,400 actual)
• Part-time: 3 or 4 days per week (0.6-0.8 FTE)
• Location: Hybrid between home, office and within the local communities of Edmonton, Enfield

This new role will be at the centre of community fundraising; building relationships, coordinating events, and delivering campaigns that raise awareness and income. You'll also lead on the development of APAP's annual fundraising campaign and support the upcoming rebrand and communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with community groups, schools, and local businesses.

About You

We're looking for someone with proven experience in community fundraising and engagement, someone who can build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and communicate with clarity and warmth. You'll be confident managing multiple priorities independently and bring creativity and energy to campaigns and supporter engagement. Experience with Canva or similar design tools is a plus, as is familiarity with fundraising regulations, or a willingness to learn.

Job Profile

CAFOD’s work in the Catholic community of England and Wales is to inspire and resource Catholics to participate in the Church’s mission to overcome poverty and injustice in partnership with CAFOD.

The main purpose of this role is to inspire and increase the participation in CAFOD’s work of Catholic parishes, schools and the broader Catholic community within the Plymouth Diocese. CPCs are accountable for delivering CAFOD’s annual participation plans locally across England and Wales. As well as growing the number of parishes and schools participating to address global poverty and express solidarity with our global family, we aim to increase the breadth of their engagement, participation.

This will be accomplished partly by the recruitment and support of a team of committed, inspired and well-resourced volunteers working in parish and school communities to enable and equip Catholics to give, act and pray. The work will also involve meeting important church-based stakeholders, advisers and networks within the diocese to build fruitful and positive relationships.

The post reports to the Community Participation Manager for Wales & West Region (The dioceses of Lancaster, Liverpool, Salford, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Cardiff-Menevia, Clifton, Birmingham, and Plymouth)

The Community Participation Coordinator (CPC) is part of a regional team working across a group of dioceses and whilst having a primary focus on one diocese, is responsible for the results of the regional team plans in relation parishioner and school participation and volunteer recruitment and retention.

The role will be home based, although the post holder will be mobile and flexible to meet volunteers, clergy and other stakeholders and contribute at events as required.

The role requires a willingness to be adaptable to support the work of the regional team, deploying skills, knowledge and at times activity in other parts of the regional team area. This is likely to require some additional travel (which would be reimbursed by CAFOD). The post also requires weekend and evening work for which time off in lieu (toil) can be claimed.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering participation plans

• Share accountability for delivery of annual participation plans for the region (a group of dioceses) with a primary focus on one diocese, and for fundraising, education, campaigns, and other targets, as delineated by the participation plan for the region. It is usually anticipated that the role will have an 80% focus on parish communities and a 20% focus on school communities
• Contribute to the development and delivery of a regional plan across a number of dioceses in support of the annual participation plans and appropriate for local contexts
• Achieve targets for increasing parishioner and children & young people participation primarily through recruitment and retention of volunteers and working with clergy, religious, diocesan and parish advisers and administrators etc.
• Monitor and share information around community participation and recruitment, activity, development and retention of volunteers
• Closely monitor parish participation activity

Managing volunteers

• Be the local volunteer manager in a specific diocese or dioceses
• Hold the relationship with, and coordinate the work of, a number of volunteers in order to achieve the annual participation plan in the region
• Contribute to increasing the number and activity of parish and school volunteers and volunteer co-ordinators in line with the regional team plan
• Contribute to the development of volunteering opportunities and volunteer leadership
• Match the offers, skills, experiences and expectations of volunteers with opportunities and needs in relation to CAFOD’s plans for parishioners and children & young people
• Ensure each volunteer is appropriately inducted, briefed, trained and resourced
• Increase and ensure volunteer retention through induction, support, affirmation and effective management of the volunteer throughout their involvement with CAFOD
• Organise and promote volunteer meetings and training opportunities to be delivered either by national programme teams or self or members of her/his regional team
• Ensure volunteer records are accurate and up to date on the database.

Managing relationships

• Build and maintain key relationships, including with priests, advisers, school staff and others within a diocese as determined in the regional plan. Be point of contact with the local Bishop.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with diocesan communications officers and press and be a point of contact for local broadcast and print media, to increase opportunities for Catholics to hear about CAFOD’s work, working with and through media volunteers where possible.

Birmingham Friends of the Earth (BFoE) is a non-profit organisation campaigning to create a more sustainable and fairer Birmingham. We empower others to take action, we hold decision-makers to account on climate change, waste, nature and clean air, and we make sure environmental justice is at the heart of everything we do, campaigning intersectionally and inclusively. As well as having an active volunteer-led campaigns group, we run The Warehouse, our lively environmental community centre in Digbeth and a key centre for the city’s activism. BFoE is linked to Friends of the Earth, the national organisation, but independent and able to campaign on issues that matter to us, in ways that resonate with us.

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

Our Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Digital and Engagement sits within the Business Intelligence – Engagement team.

This role is focused on providing advanced data analysis and strategic support to enhance the MS Society’s marketing, engagement, and fundraising efforts, with a focus on digital and content optimisation.

This role involves utilising advanced analytical techniques, managing complex data projects, and developing insightful reports and dashboards.

The role will work in close partnership with our Digital, Content, and Marketing teams, in leading data initiatives that improve data-driven decision-making and optimises engagement, marketing, and content across all channels.

You’ll also work closely with our Digital and Content team to evaluate and report on the performance of our website and donate funnel and develop and implement optimisation plans to drive engagement and increase conversions.

Additionally, this role provides mentorship and guidance to colleagues in the wider organisation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data excellence. 

This role is responsible for:

• Analysing audience behaviour, campaign, channel, and content performance, and engagement trends to support decision-making. Using advanced techniques like predictive analytics to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Work closely with our Digital and Content team to support all our monthly, quarterly and campaign reporting and develop data analysis that align with our goals.
• Creating and maintain dashboards and reports, using tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Power BI to track and present analysis clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain and optimise our digital analytics infrastructure. Design and implement tagging and tracking, trouble shoot or fix configuration issues and ensure accuracy of our tracking across all our analytics systems, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Guiding and mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices in data analysis to enhance team capabilities.
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data by conducting regular audits and supporting data cleansing efforts.
• Contributing to continuous improvement efforts to improve analysis and reporting, staying up-to-date on the latest tools and practices in digital data analysis.

For this role we’re looking for:

• Experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles,
• Experience with digital channel analytics (social media, websites, email) and content optimisation e.g. through A/B testing and conversion analysis.
• Experience in advanced analytics techniques to optimise engagement and marketing strategies.
• Technical expertise in data analysis, manipulation, and visualisation using tools like Google Analytics, SQL, Power BI
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom. 

We are looking for a Digital Communications Coordinator to cover maternity leave and to support our busy Communications team.

The Digital Communications Coordinator is a key role within CLAPA, responsible for implementing our digital communications strategy to engage and inspire the UK cleft community. This role moves beyond content creation to take ownership of CLAPA’s digital communications across social and email platforms, ensuring online communications are strategic and data-driven. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, this role supports the planning, delivery, and monitoring of campaigns that inform, support, and connect the cleft community in the UK. 

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a good understanding of digital communications and a passion for community engagement. The Coordinator will manage day-to-day digital content, respond to online enquiries, and support internal teams with their communications needs. They will also play an important part in maintaining CLAPA’s brand and voice across all channels, ensuring our communications are accessible, on-brand, and effective.

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. This role will require you to lead on organic social media as part of the DEC Communications team, working closely with the Digital and Innovation team in Fundraising, collaborate with social leads across our 15 member charities and public figures through our talent agency. During appeal launch periods it will also involve managing a small social media team of volunteers.

All roles at the DEC are based in our London office. We operate a hybrid working model, with some non-negotiable office attendance. Programme Assistant to support coordination of capacity building and training for Emergency Medical Teams, and humanitarian and academic partners.

The key objective of UK-Med’s training and capacity building capability is to work with colleagues, members, partners, stakeholders and national health staff to strengthen response skills in order to enable Emergency Medical Teams and wider health services to be better prepared for emergencies. The Programme Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality Capacity Building and Training to internal and external audiences, with a key focus on supporting activities to ensure that preparation and training of UK-Med’s global workforce, comprising Core Staff and a Register of approximately 1,400 healthcare professionals worldwide runs smoothly.

Working under the guidance of the Programme Manager and closely with the rest of the Learning & Capacity Building team, the Programme Assistant will support and coordinate the delivery of high-quality capacity building and training interventions in line with UK-Med’s vision for our digital, in-person and simulation-based training capability.

The ideal candidate for Programme Assistant is someone passionate about Learning and Development and capacity building for humanitarian programming with excellent attention to detail, strong administration skills as well as skills in training coordination and effective communication. Amaze is a Sussex-based charity that supports families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Amaze’s fundraising is growing. We used to fundraise mainly through trusts and foundations. We still receive a large portion of our income from statutory funders (such as councils and the NHS). In the last 18 months we have begun work to increase our income from other sources. We are launching a big and exciting art-based fundraising project that will take place in autumn 2026. As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks. You will help plan fundraising events, organise our presence at community activities, and support our wonderful volunteers. A big part of your job will be building strong relationships with schools and community groups, encouraging them to get involved and supporting them in their fundraising efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for organising events, liaising with schools, youth groups and artists, supporting volunteers and supporting community fundraisers. You will be within the Fundraising and Marketing team at Amaze, which currently has 4 members of staff, led by the Head of Fundraising and Marketing. You will be a mix of office and home-based, with some days at events and activities within Brighton & Hove.
