Database integrity: Maintaining accurate database records that support the Finance and Supporter Engagement teams.

About the job
The Regional Advocacy Advisor within the East Africa and Great Lakes (EAGL) HQ Hub is a member of the Global Advocacy Unit. It seeks to promote DRC as a credible humanitarian and development actor with expertise in displacement and to influence key decision makers and other stakeholders. The role is critical to amplifying and coordinating the advocacy efforts of the country offices supported by the EAGL HQ Hub and provides strategic advocacy and external engagement advice and support to the Hub’s Executive Director.
The role promotes a consistent and cohesive voice on DRC´s key positions and messages with the intention of elevating and amplifying DRC´s evidenced based advocacy and external engagement at the country, regional and global levels. This includes within the UN and other regional and multilateral organizations, among bilateral donors, national and provincial level government representatives, elected officials, and other governmental and non-governmental actors. This role is responsible for leading on the development and implementation of the regional influencing components of DRC’s global influencing strategy and working with country operations to develop country specific advocacy strategies for Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. It works closely with the Executive Director of the HQ Hub and country offices to translate programmatic responses into concrete policy recommendations. It also works with the other members of the Global Advocacy Unit; advocacy counterparts in Brussels and Geneva; as well as sector and thematic leads across the organization to develop positions and policy recommendations informed by DRC’s programmatic and thematic work across contexts. This role includes strategic advisory, coordination, internal support, external engagement and influencing elements
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead on the development, coordination and implementation of regional advocacy efforts, in line with the Global Influencing Strategy and in close coordination with advocacy colleagues at headquarters, across the other two HQ hubs and with DRC’s representation offices in Brussels, Geneva and Berlin
- Ensure clear linkages and coherence between country, regional and global strategies, priorities and positions
- Support the advocacy and external engagement priorities of the Executive Director of the HQ Hub
- Identify and seek out regional and global advocacy opportunities on behalf of Country Offices
- Represent DRC at advocacy working groups and relevant INGO Regional Forums and participate in other relevant advocacy coordination discussions
- Draft and otherwise support the creation of high-quality regional and/ or country specific advocacy products and evidence-based recommendations based on DRC’s Country Office programs, analysis and research
- Undertake a key influencer and stakeholder mapping and establish strategic networks and alliances for policy, advocacy and public affairs across the countries within the HQ hub
- Engage Country Directors, Heads of Programs and other senior management including the Executive Director to identify and support on high-level advocacy opportunities which accentuate DRC’s programmatic outcomes and Theory of Change.
- Monitor relevant policy developments and make recommendations on how DRC should prepare and react as relevant and necessary
- Lead on the development of tailored meeting briefing notes and talking points ahead of high-level field visits
- Support and mentor country office advocacy colleagues and provide technical guidance on developing DRC specific advocacy messages which align with global positions and reflect the needs of local communities
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to be an senior advocacy professional with significant experience developing and implementing evidence-based advocacy strategies in East Africa an the Great Lakes.
You have excellent planning and coordination skills, with the ability to organize a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities. You have strong advisory, coordination, teamwork, and collaboration skills and well-established contacts among decision makers, UN and other stakeholders across East Africa and the Great Lakes.

About the role
Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Configuration Specialist to focus on three key areas; Configuring a new Salesforce platform, integration of existing platforms, and supporting users around the world.
As a Salesforce expert and product champion, the post holder will work closely with our existing Salesforce Support Specialists and Salesforce team, configuring the new system as well as being the first point of contact for Salesforce support across all staff in all 18 countries. Working with the system solution designs and architecture design documents created by the Salesforce Systems Architect, they will configure a brand-new Salesforce platform for program and beneficiary management. They will also need to ensure it is integrated with our existing NPSP donor management platform and works with other systems and services across the organisation.
In addition to configuration, they will triage incoming tickets, provide support, fix problems, make configuration changes, and work closely with our International Project Manager and Salesforce Developer and Product Owner to manage change requests.
Who we are looking for
You will have proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator and strong experience implementing new configurations from scratch. Educated to relevant degree level (or equivalent, or qualified by experience), be a certified Salesforce Admin, and have experience with NPSP. NPC would be an advantage.
A logical thinker, excellent problem solver, and an ability to juggle multiple duties and prioritise competing tasks. You must be able to translate solution designs and technical designs into working solutions.
You must be an excellent written and verbal communicator, have strong stakeholder management skills, and be excellent at customer service.

About the role:

This is a critical role for generating essential funds for the charity. You will love a challenge and be goal orientated. It is a varied role, and you will be someone who loves to multitask; you may be emailing supporters or potential fundraisers, making action plans, promoting, contacting organisations, or attending and speaking at events. You will thrive in this role if you love being organised and doing admin, but love being “out and about” interacting, influencing and motivating people to sign up to participate in challenge events and fundraise for us. Please note that you will need to carry, load up and set-up event materials from our office to events, often on your own. It is essential you have access to transport and must have a full, clean driving licence. We are a very small team, so you will need to have the confidence and willingness to meet with organisations and attend events on your own.

Head of Fundraising
Location: Remote (occasional UK in-person meetups)
Contract type: Permanent, full-time or part-time (minimum 4 days/week); UK adjacent hours
Salary: £55,000–£75,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Iswe is a global non-profit advancing participatory democracy and systems-level political change. We’re entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial fundraiser to take our income generation to the next level.
About the role
We are seeking a Head of Fundraising to develop and drive Iswe’s income generation strategy and grow a high-performing fundraising team.
This role is ideal for someone experienced and confident enough to lead the function with minimal oversight, but still eager to be hands-on. You will bring a good understanding of the climate, democracy, and systems change funding landscape, ideally along with existing funder relationships. You’ll be creative and entrepreneurial, with the ability to craft compelling cases for support, develop new income streams, and build the operational systems required to raise and manage funds effectively.
Your goal will be to secure £10 million over the next 3–5 years, and position Iswe for long-term financial sustainability.
You will report to the CEO and will manage a Senior Fundraising Officer, with the opportunity to expand the team over time (e.g. an individual giving lead and a high-net-worth donor lead).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and deliver an ambitious fundraising strategy aligned with Iswe’s organisational goals, including project-specific income generation and unrestricted funding.

Work with the CEO to transition key donor relationships smoothly and represent Iswe externally at high-level events and convenings (e.g. COP, Bonn, Davos, New York Climate Week).
Fundraising Execution

Lead the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of funders, donors, and strategic partners.

Write and oversee the development of high-quality grant proposals, donor reports, and communications.

Coordinate funding strategies for individual projects, and support project teams to embed fundraising into their planning and delivery.

Develop digital strategies and campaigns to support public fundraising and individual giving.

Build systems to attract and steward high net worth individuals, including prospecting, relationship management, and donor communications.

Explore and advance business revenue streams such as consultancy offers, corporate sponsorships, or platform-based services.
Team Leadership

Line-manage a Senior Fundraising Officer, supporting their professional development and accountability.

Recruit, onboard and manage future team members as needed (e.g. an Individual Giving Manager and High Net Worth Fundraising Lead).

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and bottom-up leadership within the fundraising team and across the organisation.
Operational Excellence
- Design and implement systems for tracking fundraising performance and measuring ROI.
- Develop internal processes for grant management and donor engagement.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising ethics, legal standards, and data protection regulations.

Person Specification
Essential
-
Substantial fundraising experience (minimum 5+ years), with a proven track record of raising six to seven-figure income across grantmaking, institutional funders, or major donors.

Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills — with the ability to own a multi-year fundraising roadmap and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering fundraising strategies across multiple income streams (e.g. grants, high net worth individuals, public fundraising, or partnerships).

Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling funding proposals and reports.

Working knowledge of individual giving strategies, including use of digital tools for donor acquisition and retention.

Working knowledge of GDPR.

Understanding of how to build systems and culture to support high net worth individual engagement and income generation.

Experience speaking and writing knowledgeably about deliberative democracy and multilateralism.

Strong understanding of the global fundraising landscape in climate, democracy, and systems change — and ideally some well-established funder relationships.

Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and to work across multiple teams and time zones.

Working with the Chief Executive and the Executive Committee of Directors, you will act as Company Secretary and as head of a small Legal and Governance team. About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Fundraiser to join our friendly team. We seek someone who feels passionately about our mission, to help us to drive income and ensure Success Club can continue to change lives, by building strong engagement with our donors and fundraisers. You will build on our past successes by managing existing relationships with, and making new grant-applications to Trusts and Foundations. We are a small core team and ideas are welcomed! You will identify new avenues for fundraising, and help us explore a growing portfolio of community support, to ensure the best possible experience for individual supporters and donors.
As Fundraiser, you’ll be the first point of contact for all inbound fundraising enquiries—whether by email, phone or at in-person events. You will nurture relationships with our existing individual and corporate supporters and identify and cultivate prospective donors.
You’ll be proactive and organised, passionate about delivering outstanding supporter experiences, and will have a strong understanding of the charity sector. Familiarity with fundraising databases or CRMs is also a plus.
The role will involve representing Success Club at occasional meetings and events, where you’ll be well supported by our existing team of Trustees and the CEO & Business and Operations Manager. There may be occasional out-of-hours work required. You’ll be a strong communicator and natural networker who enjoys building relationships and presenting.
Measures of Success
■ Strategic Communications – Delivering compelling, high-quality written applications, proposals, and reports to funders, alongside excellent verbal communication with stakeholders and partners.
■ Supporter Stewardship – Proactively identifying and cultivating relationships with high-value supporters, including trusts, foundations, and corporate sponsors, to increase engagement and secure long-term support.
■ Bid Development – Writing successful funding bids and grant applications that align with funder priorities and Success Club’s mission, achieving or exceeding income targets.
■ CRM/Data – Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of donor interactions, applications, and outcomes in line with GDPR, enabling effective pipeline management.
■ Events & Representation – Attending and supporting community, corporate and networking events to raise the charity’s profile and create new funding opportunities.
Fundraising Executive Responsibilities
■ Deliver Against Fundraising Targets – You will work to a pre-agreed fundraising target, with a focus on generating income through writing high-quality funding applications to trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
■ Be a Welcoming First Point of Contact – Provide a professional and helpful response to all supporter and donor enquiries across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
■ Individual Donor Strategy Development – Design and implement innovative and tailored supporter journeys to retain and grow donor engagement, particularly for high-value funders.
■ Third-Party Fundraising – Act as the key contact for all independent fundraising initiatives and offer advice and tools to maximise their success.
■ Reporting – Produce regular and accurate fundraising performance and pipeline reports for internal use and funder updates.
■ Funding Applications – Take the lead on writing compelling, well-researched funding bids to trusts, foundations and corporate partners, including tailored proposals, reports, and budgets.
