The Fundraising Officer at the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) supports a wide range of the charity’s activities, including but not limited to, helping to develop and grow income from individual donors with a focus on developing strong relationships with donors and families; as well as assisting with CHECT’s overall admin and operations.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping families affected by retinoblastoma and shares our values to increase awareness through communications and appeals, expanding our social media and website content and supporting our exciting fundraising efforts.
You will have a high level of autonomy and will be given the opportunity to develop new ideas in a role that is varied and flexible.
Key Objectives of the role:
- To assist the Fundraising Manager on the organisation of events primarily mass participation events
- To assist the Fundraising Manager in providing excellent stewardship to all of CHECT’s supporters
- Management of the fundraising inbox, social media and regular email and telephone communications
- To provide admin and communication support to the wider CHECT team, monitoring the info@inbox and collecting and sending office post

· Excellent account management skills, with proven experience managing five- or six-figure partnerships.
· Proven experience securing new partners at five- or six-figure levels.
· Strong commercial acumen: the ability to understand other organisations’ commercial objectives and build mutually beneficial agreements that deliver value for Bliss.
· Influencing and leadership skills, including demonstrable experience of effectively working with senior colleagues and external stakeholders.

Global Programme Manager (Nepal & Myanmar)

The Programme Manager is an exciting and influential role at RCPCH Global, a specialist unit within the College, in which you will lead the management of our maternal and child health programmes in Nepal and Myanmar, with some support for our work in Rwanda. Based in our London office, you will oversee the implementation of the programmes, including the delivery of high-quality programme activities.
As Programme Manager, you will monitor and manage all financial and budgetary aspects of the programme in compliance with donor requirements and take the lead on all programme reporting to donors, maintaining and ensuring high-quality programme monitoring and evaluation processes are adhered to.
Crucially, you will be responsible for liaising with local programme counterparts and stakeholders in the field, which may include regular field visits. You will also take the lead on the recruitment and management of long-term programme volunteer clinicians, as well as short-term advisory consultants, for the programme.
In addition to wider donor liaison, you will help develop new programme grant agreements with a preliminary focus on UNICEF and the James Percy Foundation, as well as promoting RCPCH Global activities to external stakeholders.
Suitably qualified in international development, public health, international and global health, health systems strengthening and child health, or with equivalent work experience, you should have excellent project/programme management skills and have a background in a relevant international/development management or implementation role.
With demonstrable experience of designing, initiating and leading complex programme development processes, including with senior government counterparts, local partner organisations and international and multilateral donor agencies, you should have a significant understanding of budget management and financial reporting, including to bilateral and multilateral donors.
Previous experience of successfully managing large complex programmes, including supporting field-programme teams both remotely and in the field, within the international development and/or health sectors is essential, whilst experience of working in developing countries would be desirable.
Although based in London, this role may include some travel to Nepal. Additional travel to Rwanda as part of support role may be required.
RCPCH Global is a unit within RCPCH which designs and manages a range of international projects and programmes to improve neonatal, child and adolescent health, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Our programmes use teams of skilled clinicians and other health professionals to work with counterparts in targeted low-income countries to train and mentor doctors, nurses and other health workers, as a means of helping to build the capacity and quality of the health systems in those countries.
The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. Additionally, through a variety of activities, the College influences the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community.
The RCPCH has more than 22,000 members and fellows and employs around 200 staff, most of whom work in our London office in Holborn. We have smaller offices in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

As Network Stock & Logistics Manager, you will take a network-wide view of all stock and logistics. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, supplier relationships, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic planning. This will include both the inbound and outbound movement of stock, as well as London-wide logistics infrastructure and contracts. You will work closely with the warehouse team on stock levels, policies and procedures, as well as with hub teams to have a complete picture of network stock levels and needs, in order to make efficiencies, improve stock flow and engage with the community.
The successful candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: logistics, retail, procurement, community engagement, and will be a confident and articulate person, who enjoys engaging with stakeholders from all backgrounds, whether it is a school or religious group, large corporate partner or individual donor. Are you looking to step into line management? Asthma & Lungs UK are looking for a dedicated Trusts and Statutory Manager to join their team. Driving life-changing decisions, encouraging early diagnosis and supporting those living with lung conditions, this charity is on a mission to promote good lung health for all.
This team are really relationship-driven, retaining their funders for multiple years even in this competitive market. As Trusts and Statutory Manager, you will play a vital role in this charity, developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of high value trusts and foundations (focusing on six-figure plus) donors, while line managing the Trusts Officer and Trusts and Stewardship Officer. You will lead and cultivate stewardship plans and exercise excellent proposal writing skills. This charity understands the importance of working flexibly and promotes a collaborative and supportive environment.
You don’t need line management experience for this role as they are willing to train people!
You will need:
- Excellent communication and writing skills to create high-quality proposals and reports
- A track record of building and managing funder relationships
- Interpersonal skills with an ability to motivate team members
Salary: £39,000-£42,000
Contract: Permanent Full time
Location: Hybrid – 2 days pw in London

Your Role:
