About the role:
As a Floating Support Worker in our Young Persons Service in Greenwich, you’ll empower young people take charge of their lives and create lasting change. Every day, you’ll see the impact of your work - a young person gaining the confidence to manage their own home, building new skills, and taking steps towards the future they want for themselves. You will support young people through a range of programmes that cover health, fitness, substance use, relationships, safeguarding, social inclusion, tenancy sustainment, employment, training and education, providing flexible, practical and meaningful support that strengthens independence, stability and pride in what they can achieve.
You’ll work closely with the council’s housing and social services teams, as well as partners such as the Leaving Care Service, Probation Service, Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services and other community organisations. About the role
As a Housing First Coach you will deliver high quality person-centred support, using psychologically and trauma informed approaches, in line with Housing First principles. You will take a bold approach to establishing open and trusting relationships with people who have had long histories of homelessness or in temporary/insecure accommodation, enabling them to access and sustain accommodation and empower them to exercise choice and control over their lives. The team is multi-disciplinary – Coaches, Peer Support Worker, Clinical Psychologist – which allows us to collaboratively formulate innovative approaches to support. The team operates across London, providing numerous opportunities to build impactful partnerships and contribute towards systems change.
About you
· To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter, flexible and have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team and with internal and external partners.
· You may have a background in housing/homelessness support, adult safeguarding, drug or alcohol recovery services or mental health and have significant experience of working within a multidisciplinary setting with the ability to create strong professional relationships and creative solutions.
· You will have experience of working with people who have faced severe and multiple exclusion and who may be considered to have ‘complex needs’, with an understanding of the needs of people who have been homeless for long periods of time.
· You will be willing and able to provide practical assistance with moving into and maintaining a home – including direct help where necessary with tasks such as shopping, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning.
· You will also have a knowledge of Housing First and housing led approaches and the ability to work within a psychologically informed approach.

1. Volunteering & People Manager (80% of workload)
You'll become a key cog at the heart ofFree to Be's management team, taking lead responsibility for volunteer and staff recruitment and retention, holding and delivering our volunteering strategy, launching a new training infrastructure through 2026-27, and heading up 'all things volunteering'. With one direct report, you'll aim to grow volunteer numbers year on year, ensure volunteers are well matched, and well supported, onto our residential projects, and lead on quality assurance, including volunteering standards concerns/grievances. 2. Residential Project Lead Coordinator (20% of role)
Our residentials are fun, immersive, tiring (in all the right ways), impactful and inspiring. A core aspect of all Free to Be Kids staff's roles is leading circa 8-10 of our residential projects across each year - working on the ground with the children, leading the volunteers & staff team on project, and helping make the projects special, safe, and transformative for vulnerable young people, many of whom have damaged confidence, low self-worth, or other social-emotional needs.
Attendance at approximately 8-10 five-six night residential projects per year outside London is a core component of this role. As a manager, you'd likely attend 8-10 residentials in year 1 to build familiarity with both the projects and our volunteer base, with this dropping to c.8 per year thereafter.
On offer to the right candidate:
Salary: Circa £38,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience.
Hours: Fulltime: 37.5 hours per week. Essential attendance on at c.8-10 residential projects a year.
Leave: 25 days per year, plus bank holidays and up to 13 additional pre-set discretionary reward days in September and during the Christmas period. A substantial perk of the role is potential to take up to 4 consecutive weeks off to travel each September.

Ideally, you’ll also have experience of leading projects for children – whether residential or non-residential - for example as a teacher, or running groups in other settings. Power 2 - Wolverhampton City Council Key Worker Service
Barnardo's is looking to fill a full time Project Worker 2 post, for 37 hours per week.
Work base: - Graiseley Family Hub, Pool Street, Wolverhampton, WV2 4NE.
The primary aims of the team are to work with 11-25yr olds to help them to exert more positive control over their lives and to live safely as they progress towards adulthood. The team is a multi-disciplinary team with a diverse skill set.
You will work with young people who are at risk of gang exploitation; child sexual exploitation; substance misuse; criminal or anti-social behaviour; those who have been excluded from school or violent towards other people in the home, or those who have been subject to missing episodes.
The project aims to make a positive contribution to the Council's wider aims by helping to minimise and manage the risks posed by young people engaging in activities related to drugs, alcohol, child sexual exploitation, criminal behaviour, gangs, radicalisation, and to prevent young people from coming into care, by supporting them to live safely with their families.
The worker will be co-located within Wolverhampton Children's Services as a key worker within a multi-disciplinary team. There are a team of 5 key workers currently, including a further 2 Barnardos Project workers. They will use WCC systems (recording, policy, management) alongside employment and line management support from Barnardo's.

We're looking for an LGBTQ+ drug and alcohol recovery worker to jin our Antidote drug and alcohol service.
London Friend’s Antidote service provides high quality drug & alcohol psycho-social treatment and support to LGBTQ+ people utilising harm reduction & abstinence-based methods. Antidote is a part of London Friend which aims to support and promote health & wellbeing for LGBTQ+ people living in the London area.
We are working in partnership delivering substance misuse treatment and support in the London Boroughs of the City of London and Hackney. This is led by Turning Point, and in partnership with Mind in the City, Hackney, and Waltham Forest. London Friend is the LGBTQ+ lead for the partnership.
Recovery support workers provide support to LGBTQ+ people experiencing difficulties with drug or alcohol use, including supporting those engaged in chemsex, and incorporating HIV prevention initiatives and sexual health support. They will hold a caseload of clients and be responsible for their assessment, case planning, review, and ongoing care. They will deliver group programmes and provide outreach to LGBTQ+ people in community settings including local sexual health clinics.
The postholder will be employed by London Friend and work within a multi-agency team based in the two Boroughs and local satellite locations including sexual health services. They will also assist with the delivery of Antidote’s services, including our walk-in clinics and group programmes, with a priority on identifying and supporting residents of the City of London and Hackney.
The post-holder will take an active anti-discriminatory, anti-racism and trans-inclusive approach around all areas of work and will be an active member of both London Friend and the City and Hackney Recovery Partnership and will support with the aims & objectives of both services.

This is an exciting opportunity to become a Key Worker within our high performing psychosocial drug and alcohol service in HMP Birmingham.
We provide a range of services for those affected by drugs and alcohol. Our skilled and compassionate team work closely with people who use our services to change and save lives. We combine proven expertise in treatment and recovery with innovative approaches and actively involve those we help in improving the design of the services we provide.
You will be based in our psychosocial team working with adult males (over 18 years old). You will be responsible for delivering a range of elements of our substance use work including case management, assessments, care planning, the delivery of one-to-one interventions to include harm reduction and motivational work, group work, and engagement support as well as other associated duties. You need to be committed to supporting people who use our services to make positive changes to prepare them for release into the community, and you will arrange continuity of care. You will work in collaboration with the clinical team and integrated working is a key element of this role. You will work within the prison setting and contribute towards the wider prison drug strategy.
Having experience of supporting people with complex health needs including substance use, you will bring knowledge and commitment to deliver drug and alcohol treatment. You will have a non-judgemental attitude and a desire to support the lives of people who use our services to be healthier and safer by delivering a high-quality service.
Experience of working with drug and alcohol use is essential. You will be a competent communicator, with the ability to work independently and be comfortable and enthusiastic, both with the highlighted client group and working in partnership with other service providers. Previous experience or knowledge of working with individuals on opiate replacement treatment, and/or involved in the criminal justice system will be advantageous.

County Lines is a phenomenon in which criminal drug dealing operations are expanding their operations outside of the larger cities, taking over drug markets in smaller towns. Gangs target vulnerable children and young people and coerce them to transport and distribute mainly Class A drugs into areas where there is less police presence, less competition and high demand for their product.
About this exciting opportunity
This pivotal role will see you referring clients, with reference to St Giles Trust/Rescue and Response assessment practices. You will also need to produce support plans and risk management and planning process, and to include appropriate agencies in the delivery of the service.
You will also deliver a holistic support service, working independently or with colleagues, which will include providing social and housing support, education, training and employment options, benefits work, debt advice, and appearing in court. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with regional agencies including police and social services is a key aspect of the role.
What we are looking for:
- Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families

We help people held back by poverty, unemployment, the criminal justice system, homelessness, exploitation and abuse to build a positive future.
The Manna Day Centre is a drop-in Centre for homeless and vulnerably housed single men and women. It is run by a team of project workers, under the Director, who are responsible for its smooth operation. Basic Services offered include food, showers, clothing, housing & welfare advice, medical care, and access to laptops. The Centre opens to service users 7 days a week, 8.30am– 1.30pm. The working week for this post is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm each day.
Housing & Welfare Advice Workers must have a commitment to homeless people, which includes acceptance and respect. Responsibilities are shared among the team according to needs, skills and aptitudes. The annual salary is negotiable (depending on your experience) ranging from £31,746 to £36,678. Crisis Skylight Oxford is located in the Old Fire Station in the centre of the city. Our team provide a one to one specialist housing led service to help people find and secure affordable housing. We offer person centred support and will help people with anything else that will support someone to end their homelessness, such as mental health and well-being, finances or finding employment. Alongside the coaching we offer practical and creative workshops.
The Old Fire Station building also accommodates a range of flexible arts spaces which are run by an independent arts company.
As a coach/ lead worker in the structured coaching team with a landlord liaison specialism, you be supporting people to prevent their homelessness or supporting people who are homeless into the Private Rental Sector.
You will be the lead worker for people who have engaged well with the service and are able to work with you to develop and follow a personalised plan to end their homelessness.
With a specialism in landlord liaison you will be finding, securing and maintaining the relationships we need with private and social landlords to provide a supply of good quality and affordable homes for Crisis members.
The key to success will be your ability, as part of the Crisis team, to make collaborative, consistent and persistent relationships with each person
About you
· Experience of working within a relevant sector (e.g. homelessness, mental health, drug and alcohol treatment) and have good knowledge of relevant housing, homelessness and welfare legislation
· Excellent understanding of the rental housing market local to Skylight Oxford and experience of sourcing and procuring properties including demonstratable knowledge of the legal requirements when letting a property
· Understanding of both the needs of social and private landlords and the barriers and opportunities faced by people moving out of homelessness and into housing.
· Effective negotiation skills with the ability to mediate between parties who may have different priorities and to broker agreements

About the role
Sightsavers work in Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) contributes to a range of public health problems to reduce disparities, lower disease burdens, and build locally owned sustainable health programs. The NTD Data and Reporting Officer sits within the NTD Surveillance unit and provides a single point of contact for programme and country teams on data monitoring and reporting.
The position will be based in the UK, with occasional travel to Sightsavers headquarters in Haywards Heath, and international travel up to four weeks per year.
As the NTD Data and Reporting Officer you will help standardise, consolidate and continuously improve directorate Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tools and processes, maintain data architecture for NTDs, ensuring core organisational data assets are of high quality, cohesive and accessible, and manage secure storage for NTD data reporting.

You will be supporting women who street sex work in their recovery journey to address challenges that they face as a result of substance use and to access appropriate treatment options including scripting, detox and rehab. This role is part of the wider Horizons Bristol commissioned drug and alcohol service and will involve working closely with relevant partner agencies, as well as your fellow One25 caseworkers, to achieve positive outcomes for women.

Role purpose
The Client Support Worker (Crisis Navigator) will work with clients to provide non-judgemental, person-centred support. The work undertaken will be led by the different needs of each client, but will include: liaising with statutory services and advocating for clients’ needs to be met, for example with housing teams, social care, mental health services, etc.; support with form filling; support with grants, welfare benefits and income maximisation; emergency applications; supporting with emotional needs and psychoeducation.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of individuals, taking referrals from their legal colleagues. This will involve a combination of immediate intervention (for example, access to a medication prescription upon release from custody), and longer-term work, planned in partnership with clients. Preventative work will be actively encouraged, supporting clients to address needs before crisis point wherever possible – both through direct work and through referrals and signposting.
Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage, onboard and support a caseload of individuals autonomously
- Maintain an up to date understanding of what needs clients might have (e.g. with welfare benefits, support from statutory services, housing)
- Liaise with core agencies (social services, mental health teams, GPs, VCSE organisations)

The Team
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England.
The Role
This role sits within the IPS Grow Operational Support function and will play a key part in supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce-based CRM system. You will work closely with colleagues across IPS Grow and Social Finance’s Data and Digital Community of Practice to ensure tools meet the needs of frontline teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Salesforce design, development and support
- Data analysis and reporting
- User support and continuous improvement
- Collaboration and communication

About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, including configuration, customisation and user support.
- The ability to advise on design decisions and adapt/develop Salesforce functionality (e.g. custom objects, workflows, automations) without needing to code.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience cleaning and interpreting data using Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
- The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
