We are looking for a high-calibre candidate who will enjoy working each day with young people and who will thrive in a frontline, community-based, fast-paced and rewarding role. You will be taking up a permanent role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Southampton. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery.
A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

Summary Of The Role
The Governance Manager & Executive Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation operates smoothly, transparently, and in line with best practice. Main Areas Of Responsibilities:
1. Governance & Compliance Management
- Support the Board and SMT with a complete governance audit and coordinate actions from the resulting governance action plan.
- Support the CEO and SMT with the day-to-day management of Board and Committee business.
- Prepare and manage agendas, papers, and minutes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and circulated within required timeframes.
- Oversee governance compliance, regulatory adherence, and alignment with best practice.

Reporting to the Education and Professional Development Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our education services. From handling enquiries and coordinating meetings to supporting online and face-to-face courses, your work will help deliver high-quality learning experiences that make a real difference to child health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support for Education and Professional Development (EPD) services, including managing feedback processes, updating contact databases, compiling usage reports and maintaining filing systems.

Our client, Education Endowment Foundation is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and education achievement. They do this by supporting schools, nurseries and colleges to improve teaching and learning for two-to 19-year-olds through better use of evidence.
Roles:
We’re looking for two Evaluation Managers to commission and oversee robust, cost-effective evaluations of promising projects, manage a portfolio of studies, and contribute to the development of methodological best practice at the heart of the EEF’s work.
As an Evaluation Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in commissioning and managing high-quality, cost-effective evaluations of EEF -funded projects. You’ll oversee a portfolio of studies from design to delivery, working closely with external evaluators and programme teams to ensure rigorous, practical evaluations and clear communication of findings. This is a chance to shape influential research, strengthen the evidence base on what works in education, and contribute to the EEF’s wider strategic work.
You’ll join one of two closely connected teams at the heart of the EEF’s evidence-generation work, offering distinct but complementary opportunities.
One role sits in the Evaluation Team, a large, expert team responsible for commissioning and managing EEF’s major independent evaluations, including large-scale randomised controlled trials and quasi-experimental evaluations, and for supporting external research teams to deliver rigorous, high-quality studies across the portfolio.This will suit someone with a quantitative leaning with a strong understanding of trials and experimental design.
The second role sits in the Programme Development and Scale-up Team, a smaller, highly cross-functional team working at the earlier and later stages of the evidence pipeline. This team leads pilots, early-stage and scale-up evaluations, with a stronger focus on implementation and process evaluation, and on developing and testing innovative evaluation approaches to support effective scale-up.This will suit someone with a mixed methods background and a more qualitative skillset.
Both roles work closely together and across the organisation to ensure EEF’s evidence is rigorous, relevant, and has real impact in the system.
In these roles you will:
- Commission evaluations in our priority areas, including critically reviewing evaluation proposals to ensure proposed designs are high quality and cost-effective and that the most suitable external evaluators are matched with projects.
- Manage a portfolio of evaluation projects once external evaluators are appointed and being the primary point of contact for evaluators.
- Liaise between the evaluator and the delivery team (that is delivering the intervention) and chairing meetings to ensure the evaluation project is set up effectively with a high-quality design (working closely with colleagues in EEF’s Programmes team).
- Work closely with the evaluator and delivery team to understand the practical issues involved in delivering evaluations, mitigating risks, and providing support when problems arise.
- Manage evaluation contracts and budgets, and monitoring delivery of evaluation plans.
- Conduct technical reviews of protocols, study plans, statistical analysis plans and evaluation reports.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure that published reports are of high quality and effectively communicate findings to an audience of practitioners, academics, policymakers and the general public.
- Draw on expertise from across EEF to shape and apply innovative evaluation approaches, working collaboratively to strengthen evaluation design, learning and the use of evidence.
- Develop, improve and monitor implementation of evaluation guidance and resources to clarify best practice and build the capacity of evaluators to conduct high quality research.
Candidate:
You'll be able to demonstrate:
- A commitment to the aims of the EEF and a genuine interest in the education sector in England.
- An understanding of technical aspects of evaluation methodologies (implementation and process evaluations, randomised controlled trials, quasi-experimental designs, choice of outcome measurement, etc.) and an ability to identify high quality evaluation plans and reports.
- Experience in delivering or commissioning rigorous evaluation projects in education, health, or another related field
- Strong relationship management skills, including managing stakeholder performance and differences in opinion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences including practitioners, academics, and policymakers.

Role Summary
The Project Support Worker will work closely with and be line managed by the Project Lead to deliver The Village pilot project. We are looking someone who will thrive in a varied and innovative role as a fixed-term Project Worker in the Adult and Family Learning team. You will be based at our Maryhill (Glasgow) centre with frequent travel to our centres in Govan and Craigmillar (Edinburgh). This is a role focused on how we can offer additional impactful support in the local communities in which our Scotland centres are based. The Adult and Family Learning team will work in close collaboration with colleagues at the Universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The pilot will focus on supporting the parents, carers and families of young people accessing the centres, with the potential for this to extend to wider adults in the community. As a Project Worker you will deliver the programme and support the Adult and Family Learning Manager to plan and develop activities tailored according to and with an understanding of the different communities in which it will be offered.
Working with colleagues based at the three centres, you will provide a range of activities which will support parents and carers to support their children in their learning, develop their own skills and knowledge around employment and education, and provide a range of family learning activities to engage the whole family together.

Job Description
As the Operations and Visitor Experience Manager, you play a pivotal role at CSC, with full
responsibility for our Centre in Cambridge Science Park and our secondary site, currently in
Wisbech.
An essential part of your role is to drive CSC’s direct revenue streams connected to the Centre.
You will lead your team in generating public and school bookings, and in overseeing community
audiences, private hires, and other groups, ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and
welcoming experience. You will also take a proactive approach to increasing visitor numbers,
expanding CSC’s membership base, and researching and developing new revenue-generating
initiatives that strengthen our long-term sustainability.
Your expertise in creating and implementing exhibition spaces will be instrumental in bringing to
life our annual delivery calendar of science themes, which is strategically curated to attract and
engage our audiences while supporting the delivery of our Programmes. You will oversee an
annual budget covering the shop and site facilities.
You will work closely with the Outreach and Innovation Manager to prioritise, schedule, and
maintain products and content in line with CSC’s core Programmes and commitments, ensuring
impactful experiences for all audiences. In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications
Manager, you will plan and execute advertising campaigns targeting both the public and schools.
You will also coordinate with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop opportunities for
corporate partners to support on-site exhibitions and events, ensuring agreed partnerships are
effectively tracked and delivered.
Beyond operations, you will champion excellence in STEM engagement, providing both positive
and constructive feedback to the Engagement and Logistics Lead to ensure CSC’s offerings

Key Responsibilities
● Create a welcoming and engaging environment for all visitors to our centres.
● Support and line-manage the Delivery and Sales Administrator and the Finance and
Operational Support Manager.
● Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety across CSC sites, ensuring full compliance
with requirements at both centres. Implement corrective actions where needed, and
oversee training and incident management to maintain a safe and well-managed
environment.
● Achieve annual direct income revenue targets across Visitors, Membership, Shop, Schools,
Parties, and STEMtots (under-fives), track progress, report findings, and take corrective
action as needed.
● Develop and implement strategies to increase visitor numbers and drive membership
growth.
● Research, plan, and execute new revenue projects to diversify CSC’s income streams.
● Oversee asset records, maintenance priorities, budgets, contractors, and expenditures
across the Cambridge and Wisbech sites, ensuring the effective sourcing and delivery of
third-party exhibits and content.
● Deliver an annual plan for exhibition-floor themes, events, and site management,
coordinating with the Outreach and Innovation Manager and the Engagement and Logistics
Lead to align activities with multi-year programmes, partner commitments, and internal
schedules such as training and exhibit maintenance.
● Establish a multi-layered feedback system to collect, analyse, and act on visitor insights,
continuously enhancing our offering.
● Oversee CSC’s volunteering and work experience programme, ensuring recruitment,
induction, and ongoing support are delivered to a high standard.
● Work with the Director of Business Development to identify and address barriers for
schools, supporting bursary applications and additional funding opportunities.
● In coordination with your team, ensure the shop is stocked with appropriate products to
maximise sales, support at-home engagement with STEM after a family visit and promote a
message of sustainability.
● Increase school bookings through strategic planning, aligning with schools’ annual planning
cycles, targeted outreach, and the effective delivery of engagement programmes.
● Work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to plan and deliver advertising for
exhibitions, events, and school engagement, ensuring effective promotion of activities at
both the Cambridge and Wisbech centres.
● Manage the budget and oversee all contractors and expenditures related to the Cambridge
site and Wisbech.
● Provide financial support, working closely with the Director of Operations and Engagement

Working Conditions
The primary location for this role is Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge

Duties and Key Responsibilites
Sarcoma UK’s research programme
- To support Sarcoma UK’s grant application processes under guidance from the Research Manager. This will include calls for proposals, identifying expert peer reviewers, administering a high-quality peer and lay review process, communication with applicants and potential applicants, administration of grant awards and supporting patient involvement.
- To provide support to the Grant Review Panel and Research Strategy Committee, including organising meetings and preparing minutes.
- To manage Sarcoma UK’s portfolio of active research grants, under guidance from the Research Manager. This will include use of grant management software for administration of newly awarded grants, monitoring progress of current grants, oversight of grant finances and reporting on final outputs.

Role Summary:
National Ugly Mugs is looking to recruit a Victim Support Case Worker to provide greater access to justice and protections for sex workers based in or touring in London. The role will also involve contributing to the writing and quality assurance of harm reduction tools and resources, ensuring they are accurate, accessible, and responsive to the needs of sex workers. The post holder will work across multiple agencies, from victim support services, Citizens Advice, SARCS, specialist sex worker support organisations to those providing services to sex workers, and sex worker-led groups. They will work with police and Met officials via working groups or direct engagement with BCU SPOCs to support reporting to police.
The Victim Support Case Work plays a part in maintaining a wide network of practitioners and officials, both local and national, to ensure that we are victim-centred and provide resources in ways that are individualised and safest for sex worker survivors as part of prevention, victim support and recovery. As such, the postholder will engage with other sex worker-led groups and rights activists, and will be provided with relevant training and clinical supervision to support them in this role.

- Support the planning and delivery of partner events, workshops and community convenings, including logistics, communications and on-the-day coordination
- Help welcome and engage participants, creating a friendly and inclusive environment
- Carry out research to support early-stage project and programme development
- Assist with grant-making processes, including due diligence, administration, record-keeping and monitoring
- Coordinate information between partners, grant applicants and internal colleagues
- Maintain accurate records, schedules and documentation across programmes
- Manage a delegated small grants portfolio including assessment, recognition and award
- Undertake research and present insights to inform grant strategy and priorities
- Draft clear and concise papers and proposals for Trustee meetings
- Manage website updates and grants and contact databases , and use digital tools to visualise ecosystems of organisations and initiatives
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting events or community convenings, either in a paid role or through volunteering
- Enjoys working with people and has the confidence and warmth to welcome and engage diverse groups
- Is highly organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Has a genuine interest in fair and sustainable ways of living and environmental and cultural or societal change
- Brings curiosity, initiative and a collaborative approach to their work
- Has good research and analytical skills, able to summarise and present information clearly for a range of audiences including partners, trustee and in public facing contexts
- Has strong IT skills and experience in a range of different digital tools

One YMCA Youth Clubs provide welcoming and supportive spaces where young people can build confidence, develop life skills, and feel a strong sense of belonging. We are now seeking a Youth Work Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of our Bedford Town Centre Youth Clubs.
The Role
As Youth Work Coordinator, you will take a lead role in the planning, coordination and delivery of youth clubs and activities. You will be responsible for setting up and developing new sessions, coordinating day-to-day delivery, supporting youth workers and volunteers, and ensuring high-quality youth work practice in line with the YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles.
You will also work closely with local partners, schools, and community stakeholders to strengthen engagement and create positive opportunities for young people. This is a hands-on role combining direct youth work, outreach, and leadership responsibilities.
The role includes working 2–3 days per week after school, with some evening work required. Additional daytime hours are allocated for planning, coordination, partnership working, and administration, bringing the total to 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver centre-based and outreach youth work sessions
- Lead the development of new youth clubs and activities
- Support, mentor, and coordinate youth work staff and volunteers
- Build positive relationships with young people aged 9–18
- Work collaboratively with local partners and stakeholders
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and quality standards are met
- Contribute to planning, monitoring, and evaluation of youth provision
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in youth work or a related field (paid or voluntary)
- A strong commitment to inclusive, young person–centred practice
- Ability to coordinate sessions and support a small team
- Strong communication, organisational, and partnership-working skills
- Willingness to undertake a Level 3 or Level 6 qualification in Youth Work (essential)
- An understanding of both outreach and centre-based youth work
