Schools’ Project Officer
The Mark Evison Foundation aims to promote the personal development of young people through challenge. We work directly with London partner state schools, encouraging non-academic proposals for challenge from 17-year olds (Y12s). It is fascinating work, bringing out the best in young people. Students must create their own applications and challenges, decide what they want to do, research and plan the projects and present them: we help with plans (sending comments by email), careful risk assessment and funding.
Due to expansion, we are seeking a gifted schools’ project officer for a key role within a busy team based in Dulwich SE21, Southwark. The work is varied and fulfilling.
You should be a graduate from a good university, enthusiastic and very well-organised, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently, manage priorities, work to deadlines, and take initiative. The post involves presenting at school assemblies as outreach, working with students to help them prepare costed applications, handling draft applications by email, and accurate data collection and input. You will need to deal efficiently and accurately with our administrative requirements, and have excellent PC skills – Word, Excel and Outlook. We would train you to deal with the work and our systems.
Salary is in line with experience, range £30k- £35k pro rata, depending on experience.

Role Summary
The purpose of this role is to support and ensure end-to-end delivery across Wales within the Programme and Delivery team. The current focus is within our Creative Careers offer, however, this could evolve in terms of scope to include other flagship programmes in the future. This role will be crucial for liaising with Welsh schools, creative employers, speakers and the wider charity to coordinate and ensure best practices in programmatic delivery, ensuring alignment with programme wide expectations and KPIs. Essentially, this role is the glue between Futures For All, stakeholder outreach and schools’ partners within Wales. The role will be crucial in coordinating and ensuring successful delivery of different programmatic interventions including, but not limited to, school talks, workshops and work experience for young people in Wales. efforts across that nation to successfully provide end-to-end deliver for Wales’s Creative Talks, Workshops and work experiences and achieve the aims.This includes working with the Futures For All programme teams (Work Experience and Speakers for Schools Teams), and our internal Evaluation and Education teams.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Strategic purpose
- Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Talks and Work Experience opportunities from initial scoping with schools to securing commitments from speakers and employers, monitoring young person applications, programme design and implementation, and stakeholder follow up.
- Nurturing relationships with key delivery partners to ensure employers or school introduced to the programme are seamlessly onboarded.
- Working with partners in securing commitments from speakers and employers to deliver talks, workshops and multi-day work experience opportunities.
- Account management and stewarding for speakers and employers throughout their journey.
- Preparing employers and speakers to use all speaker and work experience guidance in the coordination and delivery of their placements, including but not limited to Portal and Google Classroom.
- Working closely with Delivery Partners to ensure seamless delivery of opportunities.
- Leading on all speaker and employer engagement and meetings with your dedicated contacts/accounts.
- Work with evaluation team on developing and disseminating impact reports within your specific nation.
- Working closely with Education team to ensure school engagement is in line with charity’s mission
- Delivering training sessions to schools and colleges on our programmes and building on engagement in Wales.
- Building partnerships as determined by needs of the DCMS contract and education partners.

Delivery:
- Providing best practice guidance and advice on programme set up and content.
- Responsible for delivery and completion of own work experience placements and the operational and administrative activity required.
- Taking ownership of own capacity management using capacity management frameworks to help inform future workload planning.
- Adherence to data compliance, standards, guidelines and best practices to ensure our data integrity and consistency.
- Retain our registered schools and colleges in our network and increase engagement levels in all programmes.
- Ensuring all data relating to KPIs is accurate, recorded and presented in reports when required.
- Represent and work to our values as, fostering a culture of positivity, support, respect, and inclusivity, while taking personal responsibility for their attitude, performance, and development.
- Ensure safeguarding best practice is enshrined in all organisational activity.
Skills / Experience / Knowledge:
Essential:
- Programme Coordination experience, with complex stakeholder management
- Experience and knowledge of the education and careers landscape in Wales.
- Proficient in process improvement and reporting
- Proficient use of CRM and Microsoft Office to track relationships and ensure proper data management
- Clear and concise communicator, capable of producing written reports to a professional quality
- Excellent people relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders

About the role

About Us
Modern Art Oxford is one of the UK’s leading contemporary art spaces with an international reputation for innovation and ambition. The gallery presents a programme of changing exhibitions of modern and contemporary art each year, coupled with an extensive programme of education, events and performance projects involving several thousand people of all ages and backgrounds.
About You and The Role
The Artist/Producer is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of Modern Art Oxford’s early years projects including our co-learning, sensory play project Make Play, holiday workshops and welcome tours and activities for primary schools, charities, and community groups.
Modern Art Oxford’s early years programme recognises and celebrates children, as active participants in our shared society. Established in 2017, Make Play is one of the core strands of our programmes for children aged 6 months to 5 years. It provides a child-led creative space for babies and children to explore, play and learn in a safe and stimulating environment.
The Artist/Producer takes a lead role in developing activities in response to the temporary exhibitions programme, working closely with the Curator Communities, Practice & Participation to ensure a holistic and well-curated offer throughout the year.
Modern Art Oxford’s early years programme engages more than 1,000 children, parents, and carers each year through our regular sessions at the gallery and offsite with local partners.
Key responsibilities
- Workshop and Programme Delivery
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience of working in Early Years education, strong understanding of Early Years pedagogy, child-centred and inclusive practice, experience working with artists, facilitators, or creative practitioners and experience of delivering projects and workshops in art galleries and museums with demonstrable experience of working with diverse materials and media.
They will have confidence managing multiple projects, partnerships, and delivery locations, be self-motivated and collaborative with excellent communication and relationship building skills, good IT, administrative and organisational skills.
The ability to work weekends, knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion practices and procedures and a DBS check and training in safeguarding are also required. First Aid training is desirable.

What is the Role?
In this role, you will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. 1. RELEVANT GENERAL OBJECTIVES
- To support the Youth Intervention Manager to plan, organise and deliver the Positive Futures Hucknall project, and work towards achieving all KPI targets set within the Holgate Academy Partnership Agreement.
- To support our young people within educational settings, specifically around behaviour interventions and working with those on the edge of exclusion, truanting and developing poor behaviour traits.
- To develop trusted professional relationships with young people to steer them to alternative positive outcomes through interventions, workshops and open access sport and to build aspirations.
- Work in unison with the Youth Intervention Manager to identify new potential partnerships and to manage existing ones through partner delivery and meetings.
- Act as a key contact point for referral partners to ensure regular updates on young people’s progress are shared.

- To work in partnership with Holgate Academy and its feeder Primary schools to work with young people identified by Nottinghamshire Virtual Schools who have, or have previously had social care involvement through Child Protection Plans or Child in Need plans.
- Work in collaboration with Holgate to identify those in need of intervention support and to create bespoke intervention packages for each referred 1:1 individual and support around key concerns / reason of initial referral.
- Support referred young people in both 1:1 intervention and group workshops through transition from Primary school to Secondary school, those struggling to engage positively in school, have formed concerning behaviour patterns and/or safeguarding concerns.
- Provide termly updates on individuals engaging with the project schools / referring agencies.
- Work in collaboration with external supporting organisations attached to individual participants (Social Care, Police etc).
- Plan, coordinate and deliver 3 x days (4 hours per day) of activity per week during school holidays.
- Support in peer and adult relationship repair where necessary.
- Provide suppOrt to young people to engage in further activities external to school within the local community.

Our reputation as the Voice of North East Schools is firmly established, trusted by our members, respected by policymakers, and recognised nationally. We are now recruiting a highly motivated Deputy Events Manager to join our small but very successful team to provide maternity cover on a fixed-term basis for up to 12 months. This is an important delivery role within Schools North East, supporting the Events Manager to plan and deliver a high-quality events programme that provides practical support, insight and connection for schools across the North East and beyond.
The role requires someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership of allocated events from planning through to evaluation. You will support the delivery of a diverse programme of conferences, webinars, roundtables, training sessions and stakeholder events, helping to ensure that every event is well-run, financially sound, professionally delivered and valued by delegates, speakers, sponsors and partners.
This is a hands-on role in a busy team. You will need to work at pace, manage multiple deadlines, solve problems calmly and build strong working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, venues, speakers, sponsors and school leaders. The Role
The Deputy Events Manager will support the Events Manager in the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of Schools North East’s annual events programme. The role will take responsibility for allocated events and projects, ensuring that each one is delivered to a high standard, on time, within agreed budgets and in line with the charity’s strategic priorities.
This is a key operational role within the Events team. You will work across conferences, online events, webinars, roundtables, training sessions, stakeholder events and other activities that bring together school leaders, business professionals, policymakers, commercial partners and wider education stakeholders. You will help ensure that delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors experience Schools North East events as professional, purposeful and valuable.
Working closely with the Events Manager, you will contribute to the smooth running of the events programme by managing event logistics, coordinating suppliers and venues, supporting speaker liaison, maintaining accurate event information, contributing to marketing activity, supporting sponsorship and exhibitor delivery, and ensuring strong customer service before, during and after each event.
You will also play an important role in evaluation and continuous improvement. This will include gathering feedback, reviewing delegate and sponsor experience, identifying practical improvements, and helping the Events Manager to use evidence and insight to strengthen future events.
The Events Manager retains overall accountability for the events strategy, annual programme, income targets, budgets, commercial growth and team leadership. The Deputy Events Manager will contribute to these areas by delivering allocated events effectively, supporting income-generating activity, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that operational delivery reflects the quality and ambition of Schools North East. You will also deputise in the absence of the Events Manager.

Key tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Event Delivery and Operations
- Lead on the planning, coordination and delivery of allocated events, from initial briefing through to post-event evaluation
- Manage event logistics, including venue arrangements, delegate information, speaker requirements, supplier coordination, event materials, AV requirements and on-the-day delivery
- Ensure allocated events are delivered on time, within agreed budgets and to a consistently high standard
- Maintain clear event plans, timelines, task lists and records, ensuring colleagues have the information they need to support delivery
- Provide excellent customer service to delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and partners before, during and after events
- Support the Events Manager in ensuring that operational processes are effective, consistent and fit for purpose across the full events programme
Programme Support and Development
- Support the Events Manager to deliver a comprehensive annual events programme aligned with Schools North East’s strategic priorities
