The important stuff 

Salary: £25,000 pro rata, plus defined contribution pension scheme

Hours: Part time, 20 hours per week, between 9.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Thursday (with some flexibility and occasional evening or weekend work for events such as Spear Celebrations)

Key Responsibilities

Spear Programme

• Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work
• Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees. This includes running application workshops with past Trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics

Relationship management

• Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations
• You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre

Church Community

• The Spear Coach is directly employed by Preston Minster, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
• You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members
• Supporting the Centre Manager in ensuring Spear is a key missional feature of the work of the church; this may involve attending church events and speaking at services
   

Centre operations

• Support the wider Spear team and senior leadership team in developing the financial sustainability of Spear Preston e.g. gathering data for funding applications, organising community fundraising events
• Work with relevant members of the ministry team, particularly youth and student ministries to further embed Spear into the life of the church
• Liaise with relevant staff locally on-site issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training rooms are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies and safeguarding issues are reported in a timely manner

Salary: £55,544 – £61,000 per annum

We’re recruiting a Service Manager to lead Norwood’s new Advice Triage Service (Open Front Door), a flagship access point for families, professionals, and community partners.  This is a key leadership role overseeing the service’s launch, growth and delivery, with responsibility for operational performance, stakeholder engagement and service innovation.

You’ll build and lead a committed triage team, align referral pathways across Norwood’s services, and work closely with external partners across the Jewish community and statutory sectors.  This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a model that puts clarity, accessibility, and cultural sensitivity at the centre of how families seek support.

Your Day-to-Day

As Service Manager, you’ll:
• Establish and embed the Advice Triage (OFD) model for public launch in March 2026
• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team including triage workers, referrals staff, and reception
• Develop triage protocols, safeguarding and referral procedures, and escalation frameworks
• Oversee inbound query management across all contact channels
• Coordinate internal and external referral pathways across Norwood and key partners
• Manage the design and population of an online service directory
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with schools, synagogues, charities and LA/NHS services
• Work with communication and engagement teams to promote the service
• Oversee the development and rollout of a CRM system
• Lead service evaluation, report to SLT and funders, and embed co-production in service design

Qualifications, Training and Experience

Essential:

• Relevant degree in Social Work, Health, Education, or Management; And/or Leadership or project management qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in social care, education, or advice services
• Proven ability to lead services, manage teams, and deliver change
• Strong knowledge of referral systems across the voluntary and statutory sectors
• Sound safeguarding knowledge
• Excellent stakeholder, communication and CRM skills

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the Jewish community and culturally specific services
• Experience setting up a helpline, triage service or call centre
• Familiarity with neurodivergent support needs and transitions

About the role:

As part of our mission to break down barriers to university access and address broader educational inequalities, the Social Mobility & Widening Participation department has developed a dedicated strand of community organising within our work, which is becoming increasingly impactful across King’s and recognised in the sector. Through our Access & Participation Plan 2025–2029, we have made ambitious commitments to expand of this work to improve young people’s educational outcomes and address challenges to university access and broader inequalities.

We work to address local barriers to education such as mental health, pathways to citizenship, access to English language provision and issues around employment and fair wages. We do this through our partnership with South London Citizens. This role leads on the development and delivery of community organising initiatives and supports the wider integration of these methods across King’s. Through community organising, the role empowers school leaders, young people and parents to design, launch and sustain impactful campaigns. The post holder will work closely with Citizens UK organisers and colleagues across King’s to build strong partnerships and drive meaningful change, including engagement in broader, high profile local, regional and national initiatives.

The postholder will use community organising methodology to lead and expand our core community organising programmes which are currently, Parent Power South London, Empoderando Familias (in partnership with Citizens UK) and Empower ESOL. A key focus will be driving the strategic growth of our flagship Parent Power programme into new regions in collaboration with The Brilliant Club, where we have a commitment to support the launch of a new chapter each year through to 2028/29. This initiative empowers parents and carers to engage actively in their children’s education while building strong networks of community organisers who drive meaningful change at both local and national levels. The postholder will act as the main liaison with Citizens UK, The Brilliant Club and work closely with internal key stakeholders to support wider community organising initiatives and deliver training for SMWP staff.

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.

Purpose of the Role:

As a key leader within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will be responsible for creating, developing and delivering the Social Mobility Foundation’s Employer Programme – how we inform, influence and positively impact employer-led social mobility, and a source of income generation.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Income Development, you’ll be the custodian of the Social Mobility Employer Index (SMEI) – our annual benchmarking and assessment tool for how UK employers recruit, retain and develop talent from all socioeconomic backgrounds and build inclusive workplaces. You'll have full product ownership, managing the delivery lifecycle from end-to-end: from marketing, to pipeline development and entrant submissions, data analysis, reporting and evaluation, as well as ongoing development and improvement.

In addition, by collaborating with existing partners who offer pro-bono consultancy, you’ll scope, develop and deliver new products, resources and services that equip employers with the knowledge and practical tools to improve social mobility in the workplace.

About the opportunity

We're in a fantastic position to have recently partnered with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) for an evaluation of our programmes. 

We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in Dorset (Sturminster Newton, Ferndown, Blandford Forum and Shaftesbury).

• The South West Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.
• The South West Programme Coordinator supports the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manages the tutor sign up process, develops relationships with schools including their Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers, collects data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and works with other internal teams on business development opportunities.

Deadline: Thursday, 28th August 2025

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
• Responsible for overseeing the quality of tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery. Provide regular check-ins with tutors to ensure ample support and guidance is given to provide targeted tuition to pupils.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers. Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant school staff, offering regular check-ins with key school stakeholders, and contribute to impact reporting to schools. Supporting the Programme Manager with strategies to retain and sustain school partnerships.
• Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and pupil surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
• Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in their partner schools.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting a Cantonese speaking Team Manager to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will oversee a team of Employment Advisors who provide remote support to participants, assisting them in accessing job opportunities, education and training.  

You will be responsible for providing effective leadership, guidance and support to the Employment Advisors, monitoring and managing their workflow and providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their performance. Your responsibilities will also include quality assurance of STEP programme delivery, monitoring and reporting programme outcomes and compiling and analysing data on the effectiveness of the team’s interventions and activities.  

About you

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, preferably within a refugee support or employment-related context.
• Strong understanding of the refugee context in the UK and the challenges faced in accessing jobs, education, and training.
• Demonstrable ability to motivate, develop, and manage a team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in outcome monitoring, data analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced level of English
• Competency in Cantonese

Job Purpose

Our Business Development Manager is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on creating and improving relationships, expanding a product portfolio, and working across an organisation to drive impact. This role has a wide remit which covers our existing products as well as identifying new income streams.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a business development plan that maximises income streams, supports improvements in patient care, and strengthens our partnerships across the healthcare system. Relationship building and management

Oasis is looking for someone who can combine an entrepreneurial flair and excellent leadership skills to become the next Community Hub Leader at Woodview, Birmingham. 

The post holder will lead the development of the Hub, situated on the periphery of central Birmingham, serving the community of the Woodview estate, supporting the Oasis Academy and wider local community. The role will hold the vision of integrated community delivery, which will include a range of projects such as family support, volunteering, advice and support, community events.

This is a key role as you will be responsible for strategic oversight of the hub charity, ensuring the youth and community work supports the work of the academy, working alongside other local Oasis leaders such as the Principal, volunteers and members of the local community to develop a joined up local vision for the community.

Some of the specific duties of this role include:

· Establishment and coordination of a range of services such as family support, holiday provision, volunteering and community empowerment projects.
