You would be joining a small, committed team of staff who are passionate about creating more inclusive and accessible communities in Bromley and beyond to enable Deaf and Disabled people to participate fully in society and realise our rights.
As Youth Transition Worker, you will be working with young Disabled people in schools/colleges and the local community to support them to navigate the transition to adulthood. You will lead on co-producing workshops and events with young Disabled people to ensure they have the skills and knowledge they need to make this transition successfully.

Responsible to: Deputy CEO
Location: You will be based in our office in Anerley. During term time, you will be visiting four Bromley schools weekly. In addition, you will need to be able to travel to other Bromley venues as required and occasionally further afield. Some hybrid working may be possible in this role in consultation with your line manager.
Hours: 28 hours per week
Salary: £29,300 per year pro rata to 28 hours per week (35 hours FTE)

As a member of the newly formed Development Team, you will lead on supporter engagement for the School and its’ Students through effective fundraising communications and year-round event delivery. You will support prospect communications, and assure best-in-class stewardship of donors while enabling delivery of rights and benefits to Centenary sponsors and partners.
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
This role will assist with day-to-day management of Royal Ballet School’s fundraising work to support retention of recurring income from existing streams and facilitate the onboarding of new donors.
Reporting to the Development Operations Manager, the post-holder will assist with the planning and delivery of a large number of year-round engagement events through in-house visits and performances, external events and ticketing management for centenary performances. This role will lead on all fundraising communications to donor and prospect segments, and oversee campaign tracking, while relying on accurate data use and record keeping. The role will also support the administrative processing of ad-hoc Legacy request donations.
MAIN DUTIES
Fundraising Communications:
- Lead on communications for the Team, segmenting prospects and donors, ensuring they receive regular and tailored emails
- Oversee key termly campaigns, sponsor reports and videos, event invitations and summer performance comms
- Use Dot Digital to send communications and securely hold and update donor contact information
- Work closely with the School’s Communications and Marketing department to advance design and content briefs as required.
Event Planning & Delivery:
- Attend annual School calendar planning meetings
- Manage delivery of approx. 35+ in-house donor visits to Upper School and White Lodge all year round
- Support the delivery external events for existing donors as well as cultivation events for prospects
- Coordinate performance invitations, attendance and hospitality at Opera Holland Park, Linbury Theatre, and the Royal Opera House and other third party venues
- Log and track all event invitations, RSVPs and attendance through the CRM
- Work closely with the teaching staff to coordinate any activities that are student-facing.
Donor Data Stewardship:
- Support the Donor Relations Team to administrate and deliver benefits to a portfolio of donors, sponsors and partners
- Work alongside Artistic, Academic, and Operational colleagues to ensure best Donor Experience
- Develop skills as an integral member of the Development Team in nurturing relationships with internal departments and external individual donors and trustees
- Keep accurate contact data and record keeping for the wider team reporting and monitoring needs
Legacy Gift Administration:
- Administrate Gifts in Wills from Legators working with executors and families and coordinating timelines for income with the Finance team
- Work with the team to build the ‘in memory’ programme for the School’s Centenary and ensuring subsequent ‘In-Memory’ benefits are delivered.
General Support:
- Support the Development Operations Manager and Head of Donor Relations with the evolving needs of the Development Office, as it seeks to grow income and impact in 2026 and beyond.
PERSON SPECIFICATION

Role Summary
The main function of the Bookings Team Executive role is to provide high quality customer service for the Into Film Festival. This will mean receiving calls, processing bookings and liaising with educators through email and by phone. It will also involve making outbound calls to drive bookings, speaking to attending teachers and liaising with cinemas to ensure the festival runs smoothly. This is an exciting, front-line, varied role requiring high level communication skills and a solution focused attitude. It is an opportunity to develop customer service and CRM (Salesforce/Aerian) skills and to work for the world’s largest film festival for young people. This role is offered on a fixed term, three-month basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- To be the first point of contact for public festival enquiries; answering calls and emails, processing bookings and problem solving.
- Proactively reaching out over email and phone to educators/bookers, aiming to sign them up to the festival.
- Liaising with the festival team to ensure all enquiries and issues are resolved.
- Checking, updating and uploading booking information onto our festival website (via Aerian - training available).
- Updating the daily incident log (via Excel) - this is used for tracking all enquiries/issues from cinemas.

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the strategic delivery of Care4Calais’ operational (direct aid provision) work across all regions. This is quite a newly created role that will play a central part in shaping the charity’s growth, resilience, and day-to-day effectiveness—ensuring our humanitarian aid reaches those who need it most.
The COO will work closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Trustees, to develop internal systems, guide operational teams, maintain consistency across all projects, and strengthen our digital communications, training, safeguarding, and volunteer engagement. You will also play a key leadership role in fostering innovation, implementing policy, and coordinating multi-regional delivery across the UK and Northern France.
This is a remote-based role, but regular travel to operational sites in Calais and around the UK is essential to ensure quality, cohesion, and morale across our field teams and volunteer network.
Key Responsibilities
➣ Strategic & Operational Leadership

Oversee the delivery of all operational activities across the UK and French field sites, ensuring they align with Care4Calais’ mission, values, and strategic goals.

Lead and support UK Field Operations Managers and France Operations Coordinators in planning and executing aid distributions, support services, and community engagement.

Monitor performance across regions, using data and feedback to drive improvements in impact, efficiency, safety, and volunteer satisfaction.
➣ Volunteer Coordination & Digital Community Oversight

Supervise volunteer communication channels, including Facebook groups, WhatsApp chats, and other platforms, ensuring all messaging is consistent, safe, and in line with our organisational tone and values.

Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of a diverse and inclusive volunteer base.

Work daily with Field Operations Managers to provide hands-on guidance, motivation, problem-solving and support for regional leads and volunteer teams.
➣ Training, Safeguarding & Compliance

Develop, maintain, and implement comprehensive training programmes for volunteers to ensure service quality, safety, and dignity for people seeking asylum.

Ensure that safeguarding policies are understood by all team members, staff and volunteers alike, and rigorously implemented, acting as a point of escalation for issues that arise.

Working Hours
Our Young People need care 24/7 so we have fixed rotas, with staff needing to be able to commit to weekends and bank holidays.
For Waking Night support staff; shifts are 11.5 hours from 20:00 - 07:30 or 21:00 - 08:30, on average you will be working 40 hours a week.
There is always the possibility to do overtime if you need a bit extra, this is paid time and half; same as bank holidays.
