CARIS Families is a small frontline charity that offers holistic support to families experiencing homelessness in hostels in the London Boroughs of Camden and Hackney. Amongst our other services, we run play and learning activities for children aged 0-16 from within 4 hostels in these boroughs, as well as a school holiday day trip programme. Our services for children aim to reduce the stress on children and parents of living in overcrowded, insecure accommodation, and to put back essential childhood experiences that homeless accommodation deprives children of.
The services we currently offer our families in hostels are:
- Kids Club: an after-school play club in term time for 0-16s, run from our dedicated play club in the basement of one family hostel in Camden.
- Enrichment Trips and Summer Programme: a series of day trips for groups of families from our 4 hostels in the school holidays. We take part in exciting activities and visit interesting destinations round London and the South-East, to ease the pressures of being stuck in the hostel during the long school breaks.
- Essentials Bank: Our Essentials bank runs weekly in term-time from two of our hostels, offering families free hygiene products such as toiletries, nappies, washing powder etc. to ease the pressure on family finances at a difficult time.
- Family Support Work and Housing Casework: we offer holistic casework to support families to ease the stress of their situation, from working on finances to supporting employment searches, to assisting with legal cases and supporting them to navigate their housing case and move out of homelessness as soon as possible.
We are currently looking for an experienced Play and Community Worker to join our dedicated frontline Family Services team, delivering this vital support to around 100 children and their families each year.
Responsibilities of the Role
The Play and Community Worker will:
- Deliver play and learning activities for children aged 0-16 at our hostel-based Kids Club’s play sessions during term time in the London Borough of Camden.
- Deliver our Enrichment Trips School Holiday programme during school holidays (in Camden, Hackney and the wider London and South-East England area)
- Deliver our term-time Essentials Bank programme, providing free household goods to families in hostels
- Assist the Services Manager with a range of administrative and operational activities to support the day-to-day running of our Family Services and CARIS Families’ operations as a whole
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for children and their families attending CARIS Families’ services
- Engage enthusiastically and supportively with children in their play and learning experiences, through staff-led activities and facilitating child-led play

Person Specification
We are looking for a Play and Community Worker who is:
- Qualified to Level 2 or 3, or prepared to work towards this qualification in: Playwork, Early Years, CYP Workforce, Youth Work or any related area
- Experienced in delivering play within a CYP or community work setting, and working with 0- to 16-year-olds
- Experienced in providing and facilitating safe and creative play experiences
- Passionate about improving opportunities for disadvantaged children
- Understanding of the varied needs of children and their families, and of the impact of trauma and ACE on children’s development and wellbeing

Tabard Court is a mental health supported accommodation for individual with significant offending histories. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to customers with a range of mental health needs - emotional, social, physical or domestic -, who have had contact with the Criminal Justice System. The Team

Working Well Trust's services have previously been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. Senior Operations and Governance Officer
Location: London
Duration: Initially temporary for 3-5 months, with a view to going Permanent for the right person.
Pay: £20.60 per hour plus £3.00 per hour holiday pay (equivalent to £37,500 FTE per annum)
Hours of work: 9 AM - 5 PM, 35 hours per week
Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

They are looking to recruit a Senior Operations and Governance Officer to support the Operations Manager in delivering high-quality governance and programme management across the organisation.
About the Role
This is a pivotal role supporting the Chair, Trustees, and Senior Management Team to ensure effective governance and operational oversight. You'll coordinate Trustee meetings, maintain governance records, and support programme and project management across the organisation. You will also work with colleagues across the organisation to put in place systems and reporting to track progress against plans and associated risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate the annual cycle of Trustee and Committee meetings
- Prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, and ensure timely dissemination of papers
- Maintain governance documentation including the risk register and register of interests
- Develop and implement systems for tracking progress against strategic plans and KPIs
- Support project leads in planning, monitoring, and reporting on outcomes
- Assist in drafting the Annual Report and Accounts
- Ensure Trustee and other details are up to date and comply with the requirements of the Charity Commission and Companies House.
- Maintain the Seal Book, ensuring that the Seal is used where required to execute documents and maintain relevant registers of interests, gifts and hospitality.
- Be responsible for maintaining and updating the Trustees Register of Interests.
- Be responsible for the general administration for the Trustees including processing Trustee expenses and managing the Secretary's inbox and being the first port of call for any queries.
- Support the Chair with the Trustee Annual review process.
- Support the Governance review processes and ensure actions are followed up and completed.
- Support project leads to plan, implement and monitor project progress and outcomes
- Support the Senior Management Team to develop an annual delivery plan and monitor progress against a set of key performance indicators.
- Support the Director of Operations to identify, assess and manage risks across the organisation.
- Lead on ad hoc organisational wide projects where required including the All Staff Conference, Trustee dinners and other events.
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with:
- Significant experience supporting Boards and Committees
- Strong minute-taking and action-tracking skills
- Experience in project coordination and performance monitoring
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proficiency in Office 365 and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)

As a Welfare Services Navigator, you will be on the front line of the organisation, providing essential support to beneficiaries through our helpline, email, and web chat services. You will advise members of the RAF family on the financial assistance and support services available through the RAF Benevolent Fund, guiding them on how to access these resources when needed.
The successful candidate will be proactive, with experience of working with people in a supportive capacity. They must be able to engage sensitively and professionally with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. A solid level of administrative experience is essential, ideally gained within a welfare or support-focused environment, along with confidence in using CRM IT systems.
The role will be office based at our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Basic DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

Global Health Partnerships (GHP – formerly THET) is a global health charity working in partnership with governments, health institutions, and international bodies to train health workers and strengthen health systems across 31 countries. We do this through grants management and capacity building, alongside research, convening and advocacy towards the goal of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). At the centre of our approach, is the model of Health Partnerships, long-term relationships between UK and low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) health institutions, which improve health services through the reciprocal exchange of skills, knowledge, and experience. At the heart of our work is vision of a world where everyone has access to healthcare.
GHP is seeking a consultant to conduct a study examining the work of GHWP in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. The consultant will lead investigations into the benefits and impact of HP health systems and health workforce interventions under the DHSC-funded GHWP.
This study will explore and examine the value added of the Health Partnership approach to the health systems of the three partner countries. While the effectiveness and impact of health workforce and health system strengthening interventions have been highlighted through GHWP reports and sharing and learning events in each of the three countries, insights and results have not yet been sufficiently synthesised or documented in a way that supports advocacy, resource mobilisation and policy positioning.
This study will review and examine existing literature and data, including published and grey literature, GHWP reports, reports from other DHSC-funded GHP projects, and other available documentation on the benefits of the Health Partnership model (see Related Papers section). Some primary qualitative data collection and analysis may be required.
Contractual Responsibilities
Reports to: The Technical Director, based in the UK, who will provide technical oversight of the study. The Consultant will be responsible for managing their workload and conducting the activities in a timely and efficient manner as set out in this document. The Consultant will agree the specific focus areas for the study with the Technical Director and GHP team. The Consultant will also have regular reporting points with the Head of the Evidence and Impact Team and other GHP colleagues, as required.
The contract will run from August 2025 over a 4-month period. The Consultant will submit a technical proposal and budget of up to £20,000. The consultant will invoice GHP on a monthly basis. Please note that this is non-negotiable.
Key Deliverables and Dates
· Scope of Work and technical proposal (co-produced with GHP)
· Draft Report
· Power point presentation with preliminary findings
· Evidence brief of key findings and recommendations
· Preliminary findings to be ready to present in early-November as part of GHP’s webinar series
· Final report, with executive summary submitted by 30 November 2025
· Possible additional presentation of results at the Global Health Summit in March 2026 (TBC)
Qualifications and Experience:
· Postgraduate degree in Global Health, Public Health, Health Policy, International Development, or a related field.
· Proven experience in health systems and/or health workforce research or evaluation
· Understanding of the health partnership approach/mode, ideally involving countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, or Kenya.
· Familiarity with the health systems in Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya. Additionally, familiarity with the Health Partnership model and the UK’s global health engagement strategies is desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
· Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, including data collection, analysis, and synthesis.
· Ability to critically appraise and synthesise evidence from diverse sources (e.g., programme reports, academic literature, policy documents).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports, policy briefs, or academic publications.
· Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders, including policy makers, UN agencies, regulatory bodies, academic institutions, development partners, and health workers. Competence in using research tools and software (e.g., NVivo, SPSS, Excel, or data visualization platforms).
· Ability to work independently and manage timelines for deliverables.
Desirable Attributes:

For a leading university in central London, we're recruiting an interim Finance Business Partner for 3-6 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will work as a trusted advisor to several non-finance budget holders and academic staff within the faculty and several Corporate / Professional Services areas. The interim Finance Business Partner will manage all areas of their management accounting and financial planning, providing insightful financial information, analysis, and reporting to help with decision-making. This is a key role during a period of change as the University implements Technology One, so experience in this system is highly desirable.
Main Duties:
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts with review and interpretation of results, MI, risks and opportunities for budget holders
- Produce reports and analysis on cost drivers for stakeholders, and provide analysis on complex data sets for decision-making
- Prepare management accounts liaising with the financial accounting team to ensure all transactions and journals are robust and accurate
- Build strong relationships with budget holders, meeting frequently and providing support and decision-making advice

As the Triage and Administrative Assistant, it is your role to support the KCLSU Advice service to deliver high quality support to students who need help with issues impacting their studies.
