The purpose of the role is to lead an outstanding IT service across the Trust and cultivate a high performing team that supports all staff, people we support and other stakeholders.

Reporting to the Resource Director, the role will be key in supporting the digital transformation agenda, providing IT and data expertise that will enable higher quality of life for adults with learning disabilities and maximise efficiencies within the services that we provide. 

Main Responsibilities   

• Developing the IT strategy in alignment with the Trust wide strategic goals and evolving digital transformation priorities;

• Oversee the Trust’s approach to Cyber security, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. Being the subject matter expert for the organisation.

• Oversee the Trust’s data and privacy framework, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws and training and educating staff as required on data protection measures; 

• Lead, mentor and develop the IT team of four, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement;

• Prepare and manage the IT department budget, optimising resource allocation to achieve maximum value and efficiency and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources; 

• Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the Trust’s IT systems; 

• Providing IT expertise and advice for the software owners across the Charity including supporting the development of management reporting using Power BI;

• Support the development of an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of the diversity of the people we support; 

• Support any technology implementation plans ensuring all technology solutions are project managed effectively. To supports team members to ensure they identify risks, contingency plans and engage with stakeholders for effective collaboration; 

• To lead on procurement and contract negotiations with vendors of IT systems and software providers, ensuring ITTs and contract awards are in line with the Trust policies and value for money is achieved;

• Producing regular reports on KPIs for the IT team and reporting reasons for variances against target

What you’ll bring to the role:   

• Recognised Degree in Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 

• Proven track record in a senior management digital transformation position.

• 6+ years’ digitalisation experience. 

• 5+ years Project Management experience.

• Excellent working knowledge of Power BI 

• Proven track record on delivering complex projects. 

• Experience of having designed, implemented, and evaluated organisational transformation digital solutions and has delivered change that added value to the organisation. 

• Highly effective change agent who engages with senior stakeholders to deliver the digital program to the organisation. 

• Benchmarking skills and identifies best practice and knowledge of the digital landscape of organisations. 

• High degree of budget management experience associated with digital technology design and its adaptation. 

• Has strong relationships with approved vendors and with software suppliers of digital services to ensure effective delivery of digital technologies/systems. 

Location & Travel 

Remote based - Home 

Home-based with regular travel to visit Communities in Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, Yorkshire, and Worcestershire. Occasional overnight stays will be required. Ideally you will be located within travel corridors of Midlands to London or Manchester to York.

The Events and Community Manager for our Mass Fundraising Team will focus and lead on:

1. New product development and innovation

2. Creating marketing plans to inspire and motive supporters to engage with RNID

3. Ensuring all RNID events and community supporters are receiving exceptional stewardship

You will be responsible for managing the events and community portfolio at RNID, constantly reviewing and optimising products whilst thinking of new ways to attract supporters to our cause.

You will: 

1. Work with the Head of Mass Fundraising to develop and deliver the events and community fundraising strategy, and to budget and report on income and expenditure

2. Lead on the delivery of our third-party challenge events

3. Lead on new product development for events and community products

4. To proactively engage, source, secure and manage community fundraising relationships with local groups, clubs, organisations, school and individuals

5. To work with colleagues across RNID to maximise fundraising opportunities in the community 

You will be an experienced events and community fundraiser with the ability to motivate and inspire supporters to fundraise for RNID. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating all events and community products.

You will have a natural ability to build excellent relationships especially with supporters, colleagues and suppliers. You’ll be a strong team player who is comfortable leading projects, ensuring clear and regular communication with project team members.

You will be responsible for managing the events and community income budget of £250k, which has ambitious plans for the next five years. You will put forward business cases to test and trial new products to add to our portfolio. You’ll work closely with the Marcomms team on marketing plans and with the Mass Fundraising Officer to implement multi-channel stewardship plans for our events and community supporters.

The Casework and Research Manager will lead Humanists International's efforts in supporting Humanists at Risk through strategic engagement, research, and the management of key publications, particularly the Freedom of Thought Report. This role involves coordinating all Humanists at Risk support in accordance with the organization's new two-tiered strategy (https://humanists.international/blog/a-necessary-evolution-in-our-support-for-humanists-at-risk/), direct liaison with stakeholders, contributing to organizational strategy, and line management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of General Support to Humanists International's Members and Associates worldwide, including the provision of advice, guidance, and signposting to relevant resources.

Essential:

You’ll oversee staff communications, media and PR, and lead on corporate and crisis comms. Members of your team deliver our Youth Ambassadors programme and crucial support for DofE’s Fundraising and External Affairs.

We’re looking for someone who is versatile – able to switch between the big picture and the detail, with antennae equally alert to risks and opportunities. The Role

Join an independent What Works Centre, funded by a core grant from central government (the Department for Education), with additional funding from other governmental departments and philanthropic bodies. We are looking for a contract manager to work within the Operations team and support the grant giving and contracting function.

Key tasks include:

THE ROLE

The full-time Creative Communications and Events Officer works within the Communications team to help inform the public about antisemitism using a variety of media.

You will be joining our small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial staff team based at our office in central London.

Responsibilities

• You will design graphics across our organisation, from social media posts and placards to pamphlets to pledge cards

Peabody is launching a brand-new supported housing service in Lambeth for young adults aged 19 to 25 who need tailored, trauma-informed support to rebuild their lives. We're recruiting multiple Waking Night Housing Support Workers to join us at the very start of this journey.

About the service
This new service will offer a safe, stable, and supportive environment for young people facing homelessness, many of whom may have mental health challenges, substance misuse issues, or experience of the care or criminal justice system. You’ll be part of a team delivering intensive, person-centred support that helps them build resilience, learn life skills, and take steps toward independent living.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing a small caseload of young people, meeting regularly to review progress and goals
• Developing support plans and risk assessments tailored to individual needs
• Supporting with housing applications, budgeting, benefits, and life skills
• Signposting to mental health, substance misuse, and safeguarding services
• Building trusted relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping using Microsoft Office and case management systems

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for passionate, reliable, and empathetic individuals with:

• Experience supporting young people aged 19–25 in supported housing, education, youth work or care
• Understanding of homelessness and housing legislation
• Experience in support planning and risk assessment
• Confidence signposting to specialist services (e.g., mental health, substance misuse, exploitation)
• Excellent communication and IT skills, with strong attention to detail
• A flexible approach to shift work, including weekends and bank holidays (non-negotiable requirement)
• A trauma-informed and safeguarding-focused approach to care

• That you are able to work 37.5 hours per week
• That you can work on a shift rota covering night shifts, working four nights week one, then three nights week two, including weekends, and bank holidays
