We are looking for an Alumni Relations Manager to lead the alumni relations activity for Birmingham Business School. Jangala is seeking an organised, enthusiastic Programme Associate to support the delivery of our connectivity programmes across the UK and internationally. This role will be part of the core team working to ensure that our projects reach the communities who need them most, supporting partners, improving programme processes, and contributing to Jangala’s organisational learning as we aim to deliver socially impactful internet to 4 million people by 2030.
This is a unique opportunity for a candidate who is comfortable with an outward facing role, seeking new opportunities for Jangala to support the connectivity needs of organisations in the UK and across the world and supporting our community of more than 300 existing partners who are using Jangala’s connectivity solutions to connect underserved communities and people without access to the internet.

Details of the role
You will play a key role in supporting the management and scaling of Jangala’s programmes in the UK and internationally. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, you will be part of Jangala’s programmes department, which leads the delivery of our donor-funded work, deploying Jangala’s award-winning technology and developing and nurturing partnerships with grassroots organisations, charities, local authorities, and international agencies.
Supporting Jangala’s community of existing partners who are using Big Box and Get Box technology to connect communities will also be an important part of what you do. The role will also involve building new partnerships, research, coordination and working with data-driven systems, ensuring that our connectivity solutions reach the people and communities who need them most.
Key responsibilities will include:

The person we're looking for

As the Head of Engagement and Communications, you’ll support the Executive Director in leading AMOSSHE as a senior leader. You’ll also act as the Deputy Director, contributing to operational management, strategic development and stepping in for the Executive Director as needed. The Team
We are a diverse and welcoming team of advisers, who use a wide variety of creative methods to deliver personalised, client centred, personal careers guidance, ranging from one-to-one sessions through to group guidance, parents and options evenings, as well as focused talks and assemblies. We have minimal admin and keep our clients’ experience central to what we do, providing an inclusive service with individualised action plans, including the use of visual career maps, career cards and white boards, alongside more traditional approaches where appropriate.

The team is led by Chris Targett RCDP, who alongside his work at CXK, is the current Chair of the Careers Writers Association and co-author of the recently released Career Development and Inclusive Practice book, published by Trotman Publishing in partnership with the CDI.

The Role
The Careers Adviser will travel across Kent, Medway, West Kent and Mid Kent Regions to a broad range of school and college settings, delivering creative and inclusive Personal Careers Guidance, as well as assemblies and drop-in sessions as required.
Each student and each learning environment will be unique, so the opportunity lends itself well to candidates who enjoy traveling and working in varied locations, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and educating people of all abilities.
You will routinely liaise with Careers Leaders and senior school/ college staff to arrange and deliver activities for students during the school day. Whilst most delivery will take place between 8:30am and 4pm, travel before and after these times will be required and occasional attendance at parents’ and options evenings will also be required, but you will be given time off in lieu where this is applicable.
We would require you to work five days-a-week, term time only, with a pro rata holiday entitlement. If you would prefer part-time only employment (minimum of three days a week), this can be negotiated.

This is a new role within the Programmes Directorate to support the expansion of the Trust’s in-house impact evaluation. The Sutton Trust has an excellent reputation in this field with well-developed theories of change, robust evaluation framework and extensive data and feedback from programme participants. This role will be vital for delivering internal evaluation projects of Sutton Trust programmes, supporting with data collection and management across multiple platforms, contributing to and implementing our impact strategy and developing expertise in data analysis, project management, and data management.
The role will report to the Senior Impact and Evaluation Manager, alongside working with the Systems and Evaluation Manager, and others across the Programmes team.
Main duties
- Working with the team to deliver the Trust’s impact strategy. This includes analysing both qualitative and quantitative data on the Trust’s programmes, creating reports to communicate findings, supporting with the collection and management of impact and engagement data, and supporting on external evaluation projects.
- Working with colleagues across the Programmes and Development teams to support with reporting programme numbers and data requests to funders and other key stakeholders.
- Support the Systems and Evaluation Manager with the innovation and development of our Salesforce CRM platform and other data-gathering platforms to ensure the ongoing collection and maintenance of high-quality data.
- Work across multiple data collection platforms that gather personal data on applicants to programmes and post-programme feedback data, to ensure processes are effective, efficient, and GDPR-compliant.
- Develop expertise in Salesforce, data analysis, and evaluation methodology via project work, proactively seeking development opportunities, by keeping up to date with developments in the sector, and attending external conferences.

Person Specification

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. Throughout, we enable young people to explore their choices, rights and expectations in relationships and to recognise the early warning signs of abuse.
The Research & Impact Manager plays a vital role in our team, with a broad scope to get to the heart of, and tell the story of, our impact through quantitative and qualitative data. Your role is essential in providing insights and conclusions that critique and strengthen our theory of change and inform programme development. You will also increase our credibility with supporters through robustly-evidenced reporting, and inform the development of our policy and influencing work.
This is a role which encompasses both big picture thinking and detailed design and implementation. You will oversee monitoring and evaluation projects across Tender, engaging stakeholders within and outside the charity. Role Purpose
The main purposes of the Corporate Partnerships Officer role are:
- Managing the continually improving the digital systems to improve Tender’s monitoring and evaluation structures and procedures
- Leading the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and processes across Tender, with the support of the COO
- Distilling learning from Tender’s work and wider research into key insights to inform ongoing service improvement, new initiatives, policy work, profile-raising and income generation

We are the voice for skills in the Electronics industry and the semiconductor sector. Through engagement with Schools, Universities and Industry, it is our mission to encourage more young people to study Electronics and to pursue careers in the sector.
The UK has a long heritage of technological innovation and has a world-class Electronics sector with the potential to provide solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing society today. However, the demand for capable, employable Electronics Engineers and designers is currently outstripping supply.
The UKESF works tirelessly to ensure that more schoolchildren can learn about Electronics, in an engaging way, and be aware of the opportunities available. We have a number of programmes and initiatives that help aspiring engineers to develop their interest through to university study, and support that prepares undergraduates for the workplace.

Delivery of Fellowship Programme:
